  • Into the next round. Yogi's first home win. Another clean sheet. First team to stop Stranraer scoring in 29 games.   That'll do me.

  • Well done lads - job done. Credit to Stranraer fans for making the trip on a night like this...

  • thank goodness I can get the BBC radio feed .... cant get it on work machine as we block streaming audio/video on our network but iPhone tethered to my tablet and a VPN connection works very well

4-4-2 with Foran up top and Vincent RM? Or 4-2-3-1 with Foran LM and Ross RM?

4-4-2 with Foran up top and Vincent RM? Or 4-2-3-1 with Foran LM and Ross RM?

My thoughts, with the pitch in the state it is I'd guess its a 4-4-2 and we will be pumping the ball up for Foran to win in the air.

Yogi just on Radio Scotland saying hes looking forward to seeing Nick Ross and Graeme Shinnie down the left hand side.

I see LiveScore still have Shearer listed as manager again for tonight's game.

Sky have Foran sitting in the pocket between the back four and midfield - not sure where they get the info for their graphics from.

1-0 ball cannons off Nick Ross and finds its way to goal.

BBC Scottish Cup updates page:

GOAL - Inverness 1-0 Stranraer (Ross)

Oh dear; not a great start for Stranraer... Full-back Scott Robertson gets in a fankle trying to hack the ball away under little pressure and his clearance rattles off the shins of Nick Ross and dribbles over the line.

BBC Text commentary:

Goal! Inverness CT 1, Stranraer 0. Nick Ross (Inverness CT) right footed shot from more than 35 yards to the top right corner.

Can't recall the pitch ever looking like this before. Ball sticking in the muddy patches and it's been a relatively mild winter up here. Most unusual

Ross Draper (who has been playing wide right) off to be replaced by Aaron Doran.

Nick Ross off Marley Watkins on

Am I right in saying Draper misses the QF after getting booked tonight?

Why does Billy Dodds sound so anti-ICT?

BBC not much better Scotty, frozen in time up in Inverness.

Either that or the pies were getting attacked and the typing finger was covered in grease!

Well I suppose it was a result but with my prediction being 7-0 I am a wee bit disappointed.

Well done lads :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: .

But the highlight for me was this on the BBC live commentary:

Lionel Messi has slotted Barcelona ahead from the penalty spot against 10-man Man City and Zlatan Ibrahimovic has scored twice as PSG lead 3-0 at Bayer Leverkusen. But could those guys control the ball in the Inverness mud like Ross Draper and James Vincent?

I think so. Just as well we have a load of central midfielders available just now.

I take it we have won. Phew!

Wonderful. Yogi will be relieved. Looks as if he will be on the crest of the wave at the end of the season.

Eat yer heart out, T B. :wave::clapoverhead:
