You are also forgetting there are other things to take into account.

 

BBC are paying for broadcasting rights. That's close to £110,000 to each club after the SFA take their money. Runner up of the cup get about £87,000 (5 year old source, so it may be more or less now) and winner gets just over £100,000. This means we are guaranteed nearing £600,000, we are playing for an additional £13,000. With that said, it's like we've already won. 

We don't get half the total receipts though. The League take a cut, Celtic will get ground fee and there will be other costs including police and stewarding. Think circa 400k will be close to the mark.
