Having just read that Hearts have got rid of Jamie Hamill, Ryan Stevenson and Jamie McDonald, does anyone think any of these three would be a good addition to the squad? I think Stevenson would be good. I would defiantly go for McDonald if we didn't already have Brill.

  • We're actually in a fairly fortunate position as we have a squad that is performing and, whilst small in numbers, has enough depth to offer cover and options all over the park.  i.e. There's no dead w

The Inverness Courier has pictures of both trialists but no other details as to their identities

The jist of the article is that they may look to extend the trials as the two lads were not registered in time to play the development game.

Also seems to suggest that loan signings may be used also

I'm most likely wrong but could the first one be Alex Nimley formerly of Manchester City (Released at the end of last season)

Isn't the first one Febian Brandy?

Does bare resemblance I think.  IIRC it was reported that one was an ex-England U20 international and he is.

Febian Brandy recently signed for Rotherham.

Similarity?

The one with the dreadlocks is definitely the one I saw after the reserve game.

Dare, an attacker, had in the past turned out for Dolphins Feeders team before he travelled to the United Kingdom for the run out

.

Best team name ever.

Came across an old programme v Hibs for the first home game of the 2011/12 season and it had this away player profile for one of our summer targets ;-)

Born in Newcastle, he is a talented midfielder. He signed a new contract with the club in January 2011 and the future looks bright for the former Wallsend Boys Club player who made his senior debut as a substitute at Inverness last May.

Yogi only naming 6 subs on the bench is probably a message to the board so hopefully see one more signing.

Seems to be word on social media that one of the trialists is indeed the one that you mention. The other being Dare as mentioned above. No official confirmation anywhere though

Time running out on signings though so would be good to see a couple of new faces by the end of the week

It's a tricky one for ICT - do we sign one of these guys without having seen him play a competitive match? The next Development League game is away to Aberdeen on 2nd September....after the transfer window has closed!

Uness, they can be signed after this time, being free-agents?

Free agents can be signed at any time.  There's also a different loan transfer window as well I believe.

There's always going to be an element of risk when signing players late on in the transfer window, just as there is with signing guys on loan.

Would imagine that Yogi and his coaches will have got a decent idea of the players ability in training. I would imagine that he would have set up training games either amongst the first team squad or the youngsters to see how the players do in a 'game'

I would certainly hope that Yogi would err on the side of caution and have lads signed up as cover prior to the transfer window closing in case of any last minute bids for players like McKay (who there seems to be a lot of rumour about)

I would love to sign Alex Nimely even if it was only a loan deal.

John H will be looking for grit, determination and a high work rate. The passing thing can be instilled as soon as he settles....noit a problem.

I am serious, I don't have a clue who you are speaking about!

Why did you reply to CaleyDawson's post then, when it was a reply to someone else?

Well, because it was quoted from my post so I thought it was aimed at me, usually that is why someone quotes another posters post.

As I have said, I don't have a clue who that person is so it was a wasted reply.
