Title Decider Game

I am really wanting to go to the title decider on Saturday but am very reluctant to travel alone from Thurso so just a quick message to see what advice you guys would give to me seeing as I'm nervous.

The worry I have is getting from the bus station to the stadium alone including after the trophy presentation etc.

The companion I was going to go with his other commitments but he is really pushing me to get out of my comfort zone which is a good thing 👍.

I have checked bus times for getting back, the ember leaves the town centre at half 6 sk it's certainly achievable if I put my mind to it lol.

I fully trust you guys to help this very nervous lone traveller out so I can witness another potential historic moment in our history.

The matchday bus service leaves the Stadium at 1800 so you’ll make your connection fine as it’s always in town by 1810/1815.

To get to the Stadium, buses leave the Bus Station at 1245 and 1415.

You’ll have no issues on the bus service. The driver is even a season ticket holder.

If you get the earlier one, Bar 94 is always welcoming too.

If you do decide to travel, enjoy your day.

Will there be allowances for a possible trophy presentation or will it be 6 regardless?

I'm picturing an SPFL helicopter parked at Blair Athol, ready to fly the trophy to either Inverness or Montrose lol

It has to operate at 1800 as it’s a registered local bus service.

I'm now sorted 😀. I have another companion who I managed to persuade so we are biking it from Thurso to Inverness at about midday then back home after the game.

He was reluctant to leave his dog at home for a few hours so I don't think he's keen on staying back for the trophy presentation (providing we get the point needed for that 🙄) but I am just glad to get down to the game. I'm sure someone will video the presentation and post it on Facebook, Twitter or even YouTube so that isn't an issue for me.

We are in the North Stand directly behind the goal in Row M Seats 92/93 😀😀😀.

I'm excited now because this is the first game since the Tel era because the Peterhead game I was going to go to in January got P-P and my usual companion wasn't free the Tuesday of the rearranged game due to college and hockey commitments.

Aren't most posters on here based in the North Stand 🤔😀?

Presentation, if we win, will depend on how quickly it takes for the Helicopter to arrive from its location mid way between Montrose and Inverness and the time it takes for Queen Camilla to parachute onto the pitch and hopefully not drop the Trophy after her tiring trip to the USA.

Do you guys genuinely think there will be a helicopter involved on Saturday? On one hand, I can't imagine that being justified for league one, but on the other hand, I can't think of another way of doing it without potentially having a horrifically long wait after the game. Multiple trophies with one at each ground perhaps?

I also wondered this, and will they not need one for League 2 as well?

SPFL office junior gets despatched to local trophy shop with orders to come back with change from £20.

The real trophy will be in Inverness, A replica will be in Montrose( just in case ) 😉

Duplicate winners medals or just blank ones?

Guys, how does the tickets at the turnstiles work lol because last time I went it was paper copy of the tickets whereas this time it's via email and both are under my name presumably because I paid for both tickets. I presume I send a copy of the email or pdf document to Brian or do I get a paper copy of the tickets sent to the house too?

Apologies if I sound thick 😂. Just wanting to make sure that everything goes ok and we can enjoy the day out 😃.

A copy of the pdf each should be fine. They scan the QR code to get through the turnstile. As long as you each have the correct one it shouldn’t be a problem

Radio Scotland do a daily podcast and to their credit a Tuesday one is normally about the lower leagues - ironically this week it wasn't! I've been so disappointed in the coverage of this, when else will you get two leagues where 2 teams can win the league?

Call me cynical but I don't see the SPFL renting a helicopter for this and setting it down in the grounds of Balmoral to wait for the result ... If there is a helicopter (for show) my guess, is it would likely be rented at Dalcross and flying from there with a replica trophy if we win or from Dyce if we don't.

Should show up here if legit: https://www.flightradar24.com/56.99,-4.19/9

Yes but only for the bike ride down 😂 as it's my first ever time as a passenger on a bike lol.

Actually excited for the game as it's my first since the Tel Butcher years.

Looking forward to sampling the North Stand atmosphere as it's first time in that stand. I was always in the main stand right behind the away dugout past times I've been down.
