Every football club goes through a Berti Vogts phase. But evidence suggests that if the 'pwers that be' have the cahones to act, it can be turned around.

Forget Highland reserve, act ruthless, act now and get Robertson back!

The only ones kidding themselves are the ones defending the management. Wyness Legend, Ralph Milne, Dead Ball Specialist and Caleyonup are Ostriches personified.

i'm not defending him to the bitter end jay and if you stood next to me at many games you'd hear me give him pelters from time to time with many others.just facing facts that i'd be amazed if the board ousted him at this stage, its not going to happen and he's definately being let down by a combination of luck and the players but things can change pretty quick in football

Better the devil you know.

Attitude of the abused the world over.

Well I've said keep him for now. Don't know what our options are. Think his jacket is certainly on a shoogly peg and like everyone else I was gutted with the half time score today. His time is definitely limited if performances don't improve, so let's see how he handles the pressure.

I do agree that Mr Bennet and the board have to take some responsibility for the run of results, but then again so do some of our players.

I would however love to see Barry Wilson involved in the coaching set up. ICT at heart, the club matters to him so I think he would do well, I know he is well respected in the dressing room. He would also have a great mentor/critic in his Dad.

Robbo with Barry as assistant anyone?

Scotty

As i said it was not that i was having a go at you and i'm sure there are two sides to the story with Wyness L as you suggest.

I KNOW you have changed/welcomed/mellowed? towards CB once you found out some truths during a home visit.

People really need to have a reality check in the cold light of day, spouting off on here in the aftermath of a really bad defeat is natural but some of it is really beyond belief.

Most people on here should write down the 12 teams in the SPL and REALISTICALLY and SERIOUSLY think where ICT are, should be, could be !!!

Please, there was no personal vendetta, merely pointing out some facts

Ralphie

I was all for him staying for continuity's sake, but if im honest i think someone better can do the job. Id always said it would take a massive blow for me to lose faith, i think this was it. Theres no effort, no spirit, we need someone who can rouse that in the players. Desperately. Brewster out.

Certainly CB is on the way down & probably out right now, but lets not forget Bennet & the Board. The SPL is a money based business, so the lack of investment; and i mean serious investment will have this club on its knees and into the 1st Div unless we act now!

CB should go with Bennet chasing his tail.

Robbo for me

Perhaps I am biased, but I dont see that as 11th !!!

Contrary to me feelings when he was re-hired I have come to the end of my tether. I have always been an advocate of giving him a chance. Let him build a team I said. Sorry Craig but I no longer feel that way. Never in my history of following this club have I left a match early let alone at half time. Today you proved you have no clue. Leave now and give this club a chance to repair the damage.

Brewster was an asset as a striker bringing folk like Dargo to believe in themselves. As a manager :rotflmao: Don't make me laugh. He couldn't manage a Pi$$ up in a brewrey. Never could never will. Don't fire him though, get a gun and shoot him.

Maybe not the best solution *****man

However, like Alex, I am rapidly losing faith (the little I had) and maybe now is the time to part company.

Sorry Craig.

I'm not going to vote in this poll because I dont want him sacked. I want him to do the honourable thing and walk away.

Alex sounds very like that while you have tried to remain positive the last few weeks from what you saw in the first half today you now also believe we could be have serious problems

There is problems mate. That team never came onto the park in the first half. I've lost count of the number of games we'va played against the OF but we have always given our all, win lose or draw. There was no pride, drive or desire in that team today. They, basically, lay down and let a half decent Rangers walk all over them. Coming out fighting in the second half was way too late.

The folk on here have more sense than I gave them credit for. 85.92% currently vote for the sack

Well isn't the forum a jolly old place tonight.....

My biggest disappointment today was seeing young Jamie Duff dropped, quite perplexing??!

(staggering would have been a better word)

Sorry, I think it's time to go Brew. The heart is just being ripped out of the club!

It's gutting to see!

Mrs PB

dropping duff for proctor, proctor who has been out injured and to my eyes is not a centrehalf is beyond bizarre, proctor is brews blue eyed boy me thinks

November looks like a long hard month. It would be easy to panic tonight but we must recognise the fact that Rangers were on the face of it pretty stunning in the first half.

Charlie certainly knew when to throw in the towel. Brew went on and on into a deep depression of defeats at Dundee United. This time he does not need to seek a massive compensation package. Rumour has it that he has already offered to resign in the last month so as a fair club we should give him until 5.00 pm after the Hearts game to demonstrate that he can get good results out of a team when the chips are down. If not we should accept his offer. If we make progress we should get behind him and the team because Inverness without SPL football will be much poorer for years to come.

On an annual basis this Club responds to a crisis. Hopefully all those connected with it see that we are at least slipping into one and the only way out is not to look for sympathy, criticise referees even though they have clearly made mistakes, but to quietly get some positive results.

He's definitely being let down by luck and the players? :rotflmao:

Sorry but that's utter pap. He's being let down by himself and the "assistant" he sacked Park to get in place!!

Craig Brewster is the worst thing that has ever happened to this club and the sooner he gets forcebly thrown out of the door, the better.

Quite how anyone can defend him at all is astounding!

Brewster should not go. He is a good manager, and is the best man for the job right now (narring crazy ideas). Bring back john robertson? Thats just taking the p*ss. Brew has not been getting the rub ofthe green needed to win games in the spl, but we have been playing attractive football. As soon as we win one game, we'll go on another run of being unbeaten; its what always happens. Realistically we had very little chance of taking anything from todays game, and the result shouldn't be a surprise. The performance was disappointing but now everyone should forget about it and move on to the hibs game.

Celtic1, Rangers were by no means stunning. Rangers had no opposition in the first half.

tokelyisvictorious wake up and smell the feckin coffee. I have defended Brewster since he came back but after today......................sorry.

I'll have some of what ever you're on. Though perhaps not the same dose... :rotflmao:

It's high time more people voted with their feet until Brewster and Thomson vacate the premises.

rangers: a team with 100 times the transfer budget, 100 times the wage budget and 100 times the fanbase. Hardly a disgrace or a sackable offence if we lose to them. Granted it wasn't pretty and we deserved to lose by more, but its only one game out of the entire season so far that we've lsot convinvingly.

Its a mix of optimism, realsim, common sense and loyalty. I take it in small doses after each game, but recently i've been taking them on a daily basis and especially after seeing this and various other anti-brewster topics springing up.
