January who would like to see come & go?

who would lyk to see leave in January? and who to arrive?

out: Lionel Djebi-Zadi, Rory Mcallister, Barry Wilson

in: David McCracken, and an experienced forward but struggling to think of one

Its got to be a central defender for me. I don't know who is available but there has to be someone out there.

I read somewhere Mark McGhee has drawn up a list of 50 possible loanees (probably not a proper word but hey it fits the bill) to beef up his Motherwell squad, hope ICT have something similar.

Yep, central defence a priority, experienced striker second. Could do with some more players in general to freshen things up in midfield. It's probably our strongest point but confidence is likely to be seeping away.

I expect our new signing will be Phil McGiure - you can hear it already. "Craig, are you disappointed with Inverness' lack of activity in the transfer window?" "No, getting Phil back will be like a new signing" (aye, but one that struggled to get a start at the beginning of the season)

we're not really scoring goals so an experienced striker is required and we are leaking goals at the back so an experienced CB with presence is also very much needed...equally as important that we get both.

...so no sign of a consensus then... :rotflmao:

Rory and Lionel taking up valuable space so they can go.

1 big centre back, Dave MacKay at Livingston would be ok or Darren Dods. The idea of Richie Byrne coming in didn't sound too bad either.

I think our crossing and distribution of the ball out wide is terrible so i think we need a wide player, Owen Morrison is without a club (ex Dunfermline) or Joe Hammill at Livingston as well. Could may'be try and get somone on loan from a Premiership club, a Sone Aluko kind of player. Heard Josh Walker was linked with a move here, he'd be good.

Up front, Keigan Parker and Richie Foran down south would be ok but probably very hard to tempt, Robbie Winters out in Brann...knowing Brewster he will probably try and sign someone like Dyron Daal. :rotflmao:

i'm getting a touch of deja vu on this forum.

Brewster, Mourinho

David Ike & Marvin Andrews

if the only def we could muster up in the summer was mcguire,i would hold out much hope of finding one in jan, also lionel zadi can go,mind you the deal hes on at ict,i wouldnt rush to leave if i was him

Why? what kind of deal is he on? I'd be surprised if it was high wages.

Brewster, Mourinho

First thought when I opened this thread was how quickly will someone say Brewster? Surprised I had to scroll that far to see it :rotflmao:

Aside from Mourinho, it's pretty obvious a big, reliable central defender and some experience up front are needed

An experienced forward is a must. If we fail to bring in a striker to help the youngsters then we will be battling it out with Hamilton to avoid the drop come the end of the season and they have a much more astute manager and coach than we do.

I want to see:

Out: Fraser and Lionel Djebi-Zadi and Brewster

In: anyone tall

I think that Brewster HAS to bring in somebody tall, experienced and a magnet to the ball. Basically himself as a player. If he's not got the cash then fair enough, loan or somebody out of contract?

his wage isnt bad for sitting on bench every week, but out of that wage what does he have to buy/as the club pay for a house and car for him also

Steven Milne

Ins

Defenders: Scott Wilson (Dunfermline)

Chris Innes (Livingston)

Strikers: Steven Milne (St Johnstone)

Robbie Winters (SK Brann)

Outs

Fraser, Lionel, mcguire, barrowman & brewster

Out on loan Barrowman, to be replaced with an experienced striker who likes to run at defenders

We'll take him back at county.

You know that might not be a bad solution for all three parties. The jump from the Second Division to the SPL clearly been too great at least at this time. Half a season sharpening himself up and regaining some confidence in the First Division might not be such a bad thing.

Out: Lionel Djebi-Zadi, Barrowman, Fraser

In: Scott Dalziel (Stenhousemuir) Big, strong, pacey, skillful young striker with quick feet, excellent control and good goal poaching instincts.

A big centre-half and an experienced striker - we've only been waiting for 18 months.

I'd have Dods and Dargo back in a minute.

Dods wont come back and why was Dargo not in the St Mirren squad on saturday.............cos he's injured again

Will be amazed if we take anyone in during January. We keep hearing about how much money the club is making through sponsorship, Niculae etc but as far as i can see we rarely spend it

Might as well sign garbage like Ritchie Byrne because at least he's a solid 1st division player and we'll have him bedded in before our first SFL game next season
