    Season Tickets + Resignation Confirmation

The Board of Directors at ICT would like to thank the fans for their patience at this difficult time :hiding02:

Copy-of-Copy-of-Colorful-Student-CampaigFirstly we can confirm the resignation of our Chairman and Board member Ross Morrison. He leaves with our sincere thanks for the dedicated service he has given to the Club and we are indebted to him for his passion, tireless effort and crucial investment in the Club.

We can also announce that our CEO Scot Gardiner has tendered his resignation, which has been accepted by the Board. Scot is now serving his notice and will be continuing to help the Club get through this difficult period.

If the Club had any decency it would put out a polite statement that encouraged existing ST holders to renew by 2 July to secure a small discount. We can but hope that after today's friendly that some sort of humanity exists within the club and something emerges. There is an element of guilt in not renewing but significantly more anger and distrust. It seems silly that the Club do not want money or that it remarkably is actually about to solve some financial problems. Accounts still over due with suggestion this might be problematic with SPFL Licence.

And still no sign. I can't see how this can go on much longer?

It might go on to tomorrow, but after that, there is currently no information on what price season tickets will be.  It is utterly bizarre as it is just another thing which stops people from putting money into the club.  I can't help thinking that the club are resigned to administration but want to blame it on the fans for not supporting the club at its time of greatest need.

Haven't seen anything to convince me we're NOT going into administration, or worse!

Just ticking over in the meantime, pre-season friendlies etc., until the time is right for the announcement.

    I do hope I'm wrong.

"We hope that our loyal fans once again will rally to support the Club!"

Well we might be inclined to dig deep and support the club if there was even the slightest effort to be transparent with us rather than the ongoing cloak and dagger routine regarding the imminent investment that was indicated to the Supporters Trust back in mid June.  A firm date regarding Gardiner's leaving date would also buy some goodwill.  As it stands I will not be renewing our season tickets until such time as there's clarity on the above issues.

Renewed my six tickets on Monday. Asked what digital pass was but didn’t fancy the answer ( too blooming old is the truth). Decided the old fashioned way was best and last years plastic cards were updated. (It is only new season ticket purchasers that we’re having to pay the fiver for the plastic card.)

glad I went for the plastic card as I can’t think how I could forward the email as suggested below to 4 eight year olds who don’t own smart phones and don’t have email addresses.

Remember - Your season ticket is valid for one entry per league match and whether you scan your digital card OR use your plastic card at each of these games is your choice.  Once either season card type has been scanned into the ground, the other season card type will be disabled for that game ONLY.  Both card types will be reset ahead of the next game for you to select the card of your choice.

Digital season cards can be allocated to members of your party by forwarding this email in order for the party member to download the digital season card or by forwarding the digital season ticket card once it is downloaded to your device.

Unauthorised duplication of your digital season card or your plastic season card will prevent entry into the stadium.

I imagine the 2 week extension of the early bird offer is because they have just realised they haven't agreed a price for when the scheme ends.

Having a chat with a friend re STs and I said one of my reason for not renewing is I don't feel confident that my money is safe? This is obviously in addition to the SG issue.

    Anyone else the same?

I have the same thoughts. I think if no new investment is found then we won’t have a Club anyway. The ST money is to my mind not for investment in youth or local players but just keeping the Club afloat and paying the current bills. I have still not renewed as I don’t know what my money is going towards. I will wait and see the CEO situation and who will run the Club after that and if there is any new money coming in. My fear is that if the current failed management team do get money to spend, then a load of loanees come in again and the youth we were promised would get their chance are sent back out on loan. Who is in charge and who is making the decisions affecting the Club??? I won’t renew until this is clearer.

For anyone worried about losing their money just pay game to game.

Also could put on a Credit Card which should give further protections.

With all that’s going on behind closed doors and reading bits on other threads about changes on the board and not recorded I am not renewing until the club and those running it make a clear statement as to what’s happening and who will be running it. I will purchase a ticket on a week to week basis and more than happy to support the team.

I bought mine after the first statement from the supporters trust. Kinda wish I’d waited till their second statement. I did use. Credit card as it should offer some security if everything goes t!ts up

I have to be honest, I spent most of the ST money I put aside on car repairs a couple of weeks ago and being on holiday just now, then Belladrum coming up it's looking less and less likely I will be getting a ST at all for the coming year.

While I fet that many fans are reluctant to renew season tickets, bottom line is the club needs money to survive. If fans choose ge pay at gate option,  many will not attend every game if that happens thus depriving the club of revenue.

Difficult as it may be, fans at some point are going to have to trust the club and put their money where their mouth is. While administration may solve many problems,  it is not without risk and costs.

I first shared this quote a few weeks ago from Reading FC’s supporters’ trust. They have had a fairly similar situation to us regarding financial problems, regime change and potential new investors.

“We recommend that anyone purchasing a season ticket considers using a credit card for added security.

“If, for any reason, the Club cannot fulfil the season ticket, paying by credit card ensures that you would receive a refund (pro rata) under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.”
