  1. Who....in your opinion, would you say, is ICT's key player? I would have to say, for me, its Richie Foran. He gives the team that extra bit of dig and creativity,Like players of old and i love the way he is fired up for the cause.

  2. Losing doesn't bother me, there is no disgrace in losing 1-0 away anywhere in Europe but that has to be the most embarrassed I have ever been after a Scotland game.... even if we had drawn playing that way I would have been upset. Last night I felt as though we played the tactics of a lower tier country, a San Marino, Malta, Albania etc.. I don't think this is an over-reaction either, the manager gave up before we started last night and for such a proud nation we were made to look scared with a lack of faith. getting angry the more I think about it

  3. Not cringing at all. In the context of a poem it is just a bit of fun, mun. The OP was cringeworthy but some people think they can post anything and have everyone else understand it.

  4. Tbh i would be looking out for family and friends before i even think about giving it to Caley. But i would give them some money, i would get them their own facilities for training and youth developement and a bit of extra cash for new players and wages. Would also give a good amount of it to charity.

  5. Tokely should have been sent off for that, The Aberdeen player touches the ball away and Tokely comes in with a dangerous tackle and takes the guy out, simple. I also don't think the Aberdeen guy should have been sent off for the alledged stamping on Hayes. Even on the slow mo i still can't really make that out. Even though it can still be hard to make a decision watching a replay it would still help cut out all those mistakes refs actually do make during the game. Its just old fashioned to think we shouldn't have new technologies coming into the game that willl benefit us all. The sooner we stop getting offside goals, balls that cross the line that aren't given and wrong penalty decisions the better.

  6. I'd underwrite the Supporters Trusts purchase of all available shares, be they unissued or those willing to sell on the agreement that they convert the business to a membership business model (one member, one vote). I would then take a 99 year lease from the new business for all non-football property/space at the stadium before flattening the lot and building again from scratch...with a clause that I provide all facilities required for the operation of the club (stands, changing rooms, offices etc etc). I'd move the whole stadium away from the A9 to give room for development on the West Side. All stands would be built to incorporate offices, 4 corner pods with hospitality suites/boxes and penthouse apartment at the top (North East Corner is mine). Seating levels would be raised with installation of catering facilities underneath at pitchside so people can go get food and/or drink throughout the game without missing any of the action. Disabled access/platforms at the front, middle and back of each stand so wheelchair users can sit just about anywhere they like. The North carpark would be converted to two level parking with exit/entrance ramps connected to the A9 from the upper level. South carpark would be converted into an all weather pitch for training and community use and would be served by changing facilities etc incorporated into the South Stand. I would retain the name of the Kingsmills Suite and to even things out a bit the new Sports Bar would be named the "Howden End". (IHE would be employed as quality control officer.) The club would retain all advertising rights etc around the stadium and would be free to seek stadium sponsorship for naming rights etc. I would be reluctant to throw money at the playing side of things over and above that which the business was able to sustain in it's own right....in fact I would be tempted to include (if possible) some kind of clause in my agreement to set up all of the above which states that should the club incur debts of more than X amount then all shares which I underwrote the purchase of would revert to me.

  7. id say the ?500,000 a year interest for two years could go to the fans to decide on new signings. Invest ?2m in a first class indoor youth academy and id build a new stand on the road side with free entry for any child for ten years (?10 per child, say 20 games a season, 5000 seater stand means a total contribution of 10m over 10 years, stand to cost an additional ?6m). Upgrade the end stands for ?12m. Free transport to away days 1m allowance for any period of time. A PR team cherrypicked from Nike, Macdonalds and the BBC to raise the profile of the club. A highly paid job for players such as Barry Wilson, Steve Paterson etc who have served the club so well. So that leaves me with about ?78m to find something else worthwhile spending on. Id build a flume going from my new house to the new 'Highland Stronghold Stadium' too. And id have a new pie stall with a rolling conveyorbelt going round the ground. Any id pay Jimmy Calder to save penalties. And id have a great big batman like sign over to dingwall way with the score if were winning. Id also invest in allowing standing at grounds too - also Id bribe the fa into a new league structure which the fans would choose. ok thats me done. and broke.

  9. I agree with your point about Kenny Miller taking pressure off the defence. I hope he gets a start against Spain.
