I shall change my team since Hogg has now joined. Esson Duff, Tokely, Hogg, Shinnie Ross, Cox, Duncan, Doran Rooney, Foran Subs: Tuffey, Proctor, Innes, Sutherland, Sanchez, Odhiambo, MacDonald.1 point

Inverness Courier also mentions that Aaron Doran has been picked for Republic of Ireland under-21's to face Cyprus in a friendly and more surprisingly Gil Blumenshtein has been included in the Israeli under-21s squad for their friendly against Serbia.1 point

99% certain I saw Adam Rooney's car parked in the car park of the Hotel at Broxden Perth at 630am. Maybe he was at Tannadice yesterday then on to Easter Road today. I thought I saw Barrowmans car parked at the North Kessock car park, not sure though, wonder how much hes worth.1 point

Hi folks. Friendly Hibby here in peace. You've just acquired a cracking centre half. In response to an earlier post, no he's not the tallest at a shade over 5'11'', but that's not to decry his ability in the air. He's a solid and reliable player if unspectacular, and doesn't have it in him to give any less than 100% at any stage - I include friendlies, bounce games, etc in that. He is an outstanding professional with an attitude to match that, is honest as the day is long, will be a fantastic ambassador for any club, and an exceptional role model for young players. He is also an absolute gentleman with time for everyone, especially supporters. If I had a couple of slight criticisms, it would be that he could use his strength to his advantage a tad more and his distribution could be better. I'm absolutely gutted at how events have transpired with Chris over the last year or so - due in no small part to both our current and previous manager - and am truly saddened to see him leave under such circumstances. He's always been a great idol of mine and will continue to follow his career keenly (hope you don't mind if I check in on here every so often to see how he's been getting on ). Hope all goes well for him at Inverness. He deserves a clean break. All the very best for the rest of the season. Always had a soft spot for Caley (except against my lot of course!!), and have a great deal of admiration for the job Terry's doing with your club.1 point

Didn't realise he was only 25, seems to have been around forever. Can't say I've ever been overly impressed by him and the fact he can't get a game in the worst Hibs team in a decade doesn't inspire confidence. Still if he comes in and does a job everyone will be happy1 point

I would strongly recommend you don't miss Football Focus tomorrow (Saturday in case you don't see this tonight) on BBC1 at 12.15pm. The camera crew spend a whole day in Inverness with the team and in particular Terry Butcher, even visiting his home. Set your recorders now so you don't miss it, should be entertaining.1 point

I wasnt going to comment, wondering at first whether there were some extenuating circumstances or whether the same sort of bureaucracy that dictates ambulances called in Inverness sometimes have to come from Dingwall might have been a factor ..... but after reading the P&J article here: http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/1990596?UserKey= it appears that none of that is the case and the guy simply said no, get someone else, I am on a break. There is no evidence to suggest the woman would have survived but she sure as hell would have had a better chance if the ambulance from 20 seconds away had attended than having to wait for one that was 20 minutes away. I am sorry, but this person is not fit to lick the soles of the shoes of his colleagues after they have trudged through a dog park let alone keep his job !!!1 point

Scotty You seemed to have killed this thread lol. Glad the team remain intact and I'm happy with the signings. Seems TB has shopped well.0 points

From the sounds of it Hibs are after a marquee signing and Rooney will be their man. Hopefully our board are playing hard ball, using Conor Sammon's recent offer from Scunthorpe as a bench mark and we get plenty cash for the guy. Rooney has been excellent, he has that knack of scoring goals (until recently) but he is not irreplaceable. Thankfully, we are about 3 points off safety, which means Sutherland can get his chance without any major pressure on his shoulders. If he doesn't manage to get the goals to suggest he can secure a first team place we can look at targets in the summer, or even sign someone else on a pre-contract. If we can get anything near the amount Scunthorpe offered for Sammon then we should accept the offer and move on, as we always do.-1 points

Decent enough player, maybe a bit on the small side for a CB but no complaints from me about this signing.-1 points

Do you think anyone did come in for Rooney? I wonder if any one came in for him at all and thats why he is still with us or maybe he declined other teams to stay with us. If Rooney had any sense he wouldn't sign for hibs until the future of Calderwood has been decided, Rooney could end up signing on for the end of the season and find himself under a new manager that doesn't want him.-1 points

Personally I dont think Tokely or Munro should be banned for DU. Had the game gone ahead as it should have then they would have been available to play. But in light of all that then my new team is: Esson Proctor, McBain, Golabek, Shinnie Hayes, Duncan, Ross Foran, Sanchez Rooney Bench, Tuffey, Innes, Gillet, Doran, MacDonald, Sutherland-2 points
