  1. Apparently Scottish clubs in Europe are like Heather Mills... The second leg is just for show. (I'll get me coat!)

  2. I don't think our Terry realises the full impact of letting so many players go during the close season. On Monday it was the first of August and I changed my ICT calendar and now have Roy McBain and Dani Sanchez on the wall in the hall for the month. Last month it was Grant Munro and Chris Innes... I'm not so sure that Terry and Mo have thought this through properly... what happens in December when we're well into the new season and I come bumbling through the door after a few festive sherbets and see two players on the calendar who I've no idea who they are / were? How is my good lady gonna learn who plays for us? Should my Dad get me another calendar for Christmas again this year? These are questions that I just don't feel the management has considered. I'm gonna write to the board about this. No - wait... I'm gonna write to my MSP. I'm going for a lie down.

  3. We can please some of the people some of the time but, who can please all of the people all of the time. If only our beloved ICT could please all of the people all of the time, then those who organise buses to away games would be truly chuffed.

  4. Think the best people to ask would be Dunfermline fc or ask the same question on a pars website. Superglue an Abraham Lincoln beard on his face I'm sure he would look old enough then.

  5. I dont think clubs fully realise how expensive their product is especially for families. Home fans tend to be ok because season tickets are normally good value for most but away days work out really expensive even before you add in travel and food.

  6. It's ironic, and incredible, that football clubs going bust only became a regular occurrence once huge amounts of money started pouring into the game. Prior to the 1990's, clubs generally lived within their means. The movement in money since then is basically: Fans - worse off, paying more at the gate Armchair fans - worse off, through paying TV subscriptions Investors/club owners - worse off, having pumped much of their fortunes down the drain in pursuit of glory Clubs - worse off, most are in debt and run at a loss Players - here's where all the money's gone! Agents - don't get me started. At least the players have talent.

  7. I'm thinking more in the long term. If clubs could increase gates - especially kids - then the fan bases might grow.

  8. Both offer value to those who choose to use them. Each one has a different itinerary on the day so appeals to different folks which is why we plug them both. nice to get TWO buses to each game .... more fans. Creep. ?The enemies you make by taking a decided stand generally have more respect for you than the friends you make by being on the fence?

  9. I'm not looking to argue about this but I think for the standard of football SPL grounds should be about ?10 - 12 for adults and ?5-6 for kids.
