  2. I've no doubt we'll be safe this season but top six is looking more and more of a pipe dream considering how we've been playing and the games left. Draws are not going to get us there. To the split Home v Rangers Away v Dundee United Home v Kilmarnock Away v Aberdeen Home v St Johnstone Home v Hibs Away v St Johnstone To cross the line we need seven more points than the current sixth place (DU) and hope that St Mirren, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen pick up fewer points than us. Dundee United have Away v Hearts Home v Us Home v Rangers Away v Hibs Home v Dunfermline Away v Aberdeen The realist in me thinks its going to be a very hard line to cross. Guessing the results of those fixtures I can see DU take at least seven points which would mean we need fifteen from our remaining games.

  3. Stick it in your signature. I did think about doing a Sky Dive, but apparently you need to be 14 Stone and I wasn't gaining weight for anyone!!!

  4. P.S. Rangers were denied train travel....Scotrail didn't want to risk them going off the rails again so soon.

  6. The tax man's taken all my dough And left me in my stately home Playing on a Sunday afternoon And I can't sail my yacht, He's taken everything I got, All I've got's this Sunday afternoon. Save me, save me, save me from this squeeze. I gotta big fat mama trying to break me. And I love to live so pleasantly, Live this life of luxury, Playing on a Sunday afternoon. In a summertime In a summertime In a summertime Even the lyrics are spot on

  9. Well done to Ryan Esson !!! Some players/celebrities love the limelight when they do "little things" that mean a lot to other people ... they never seem to stop talking about it (especially 'reality' nobodies) !!!! It is nice to hear of an instance where a player just goes about things as normal, or goes an extra mile and does things like this just because he can, or because he wants to, or for the effect it will have on the other person, rather than how many column inches he might get in a paper !!! I know a few other ICT players who have been similar in the past and I doff my cap to all of them !!!

  12. I have spend the whole day grumping over stupid, little things. There is nothing like a brave, generous child to put things in perspective. Thank you Marc and well done mate.

  14. Where will you be doing the dive? I note it's in June but you'ld get a few extra bob by landing in the centre circle at TCS on match day!

  17. Wouldn't argue with any of that, although I thought Tansey was tidy enough. We have to bear in mind that in a midfield with Foran, Hayes, Ross and Sutherland, Tansey is the most (or only) naturally defensive player there, and this is probably why he has been less of a goal threat this season than we might have expected after the first few games. You are right that he was overshadowed by Foran in a similar role, but Foran was MOM.

  19. Only just seen this thread. He'll be delighted when I show him in the morning. Thank you all! CaleyD is right in that he's not been too good lately. He's having problems with pains his feet and is currently on a course of physio and special drinks containing various vitimins, minerals etc. He was in hospital on Christmas night and was thankfully out for new year. He was back in last night in time for more tests and physio today. The shirt was the very one worn by Ryan Esson on the final day of our title winning season - The 1-0 win over Dundee at TCS. Ryan also donated his gloves and these were also part of the raffle prize. I have a fair few signed shirts etc that i've gained over the years, and I can certainly understand how hard it is to part with them. So fair play to wee Marc! £225 well earned. He was so delighted, he wanted to raffle off all his other caley thistle gear to help the Archie.
