The club "soft launched" their new Official YouTube Channel this week and it can be found at - http://www.youtube.com/officialict This is part of an SPL wide partnership with YouTube which comes in to play for the new season and as a minimum it will bring videos from pre match interviews, match highlights and post match interviews. Work and discussions are ongoing in regards to what additional content it will bring, but it's hoped that they'll be able to get some behind the scenes videos going (training etc), as well as using it as a platform to promote other services and facilities available at the stadium. This has come about rather quickly and it will take a little time to find our feet with it. The approach being taken is one of "walk before you run" and, quite rightly, the club don't want to over commit and create an unsustainable expectation. It may take a few days to get videos up to begin with, but it's something that will be worked on as people get more used to it and more resources are available to support it. What's equally important to highlight is that this service and the shooting of the videos is entirely fan driven...and at the moment that consists of AndyCam being the man who's behind the camera on everything (and doing the editing)...which you will understand is a lot to ask of one person. That will change as more resources become available (more people get involved) and when that happens then all your ideas and suggestions will be most welcome....and we already have a ton of ideas which include fan videos/interviews, giving you the chance to help and feature in this new project.

Having gone a goal behind and given the fact we always start slowly i would have taken a point today and on reflection was probably a fair result. We definitely started the better, neat passing and some good movement but apart from a tame effort from Shinnie had little to show for our posession and St Mirren grabbed the lead during a good spell for themselves. Nick Ross was a game changer, as soon as he came on space began to open up for us and he took his goal brilliantly, same goes for Billy, poor lad worked his arse off today but struggled to compete in the air but he made the most of Barron's error and finished his goal well. My only qualm of the day was bringing on Polworth, given that we were grinding the game out i think it would have been smarter to bring on Oswell. He would have been able to hold the ball up better and keep it in the Saints half but they grabbed their equalizer and were unlucky not to have another as Esson's save from Parkin's effort was top class. Didnt see the red card but referee showed little hesitation to show it. Thought all the new players did well. Warren and King looked decent, couple of shaky moments but i think they will gel with time. Raven looked ok but had to be cautious after getting booked. Thought Draper was immense, was all over the shop, made some great tackles and was unlucky not to score. Shinnie and Doran showed some terrific skill and after his late cameo Nick Ross has surely put himself into consideration for a starting place. Shane coped on the wing but i think Butcher should try him up front together with Billy, reckon they could crack it. Fans were immense, brilliant atmosphere and even after conceding the equalizer were in full voice till the end and gave the team an ovation. Times like this that unity is important and if everyone carries on the way they were today we will definitely pick up some wins. Looking forward to next week. A pity we didnt win but plenty to build on.

What a privilege is was to be a caley fan today, me my brother and cousin had a great laugh and the atmosphere was the best ever. The team showed the commitment and passion for the cause to come from behind just what you pay your money for!!

Tale of two feckin halves - we were floundering but so were Midden in the first 45 and it was a game fer the taking. I have to concede that OTJ and Draper looked very solid together and if TB can sort out the wide and forward players to blend in (e.g. Ross) then we ah be on to something.I have to concede that Warren and King looked solid and very promising at the back considering that they were pairing up fer their first game together. If they stay fit then I feel that they could copedwith most SPL attacks. G.Shinnie was reliable as ever but was forced into a more defensive role. Again my concerns about Tudor Jones and Draper together - at least away from home were relatively unfounded but they did struggle to go forward. Doran can be better than Heyes and he showed some great touched at times but then he goes missing in action. Shane - please feckin Butcher realise - is not a wide player but put in a great shift but was COMPLETELY overshadowed by Nicky Ross - as Cilla would say surprise feckin surprise. Andy Shinnie simply has to be played in a more attacking role and that will be hopefully tried out at home against Killie. McKay put in a tremendous shift and took his goal really well - if only we had a Craig Brewster fer him to feed off. So that was encouraging and the only suggestions that I have to make are to stick Meekings in at rite back and initially play Foran wide instead of Shane and put Andy Shinnie in the hoe.

  6. I really hope we aren't utter gosh*te this term.
  7. Excellent article RossP, and I think you've voiced the thoughts of the majority of ICT supporters.
  8. Can I suggest that this thread is closed. It is old hat, history and unhelpful. We are in season 2012-2013 and the slate has been wiped. Only performances and managerial influence should be judged from henceforth.
  9. Ross is merely saying what the majority of non happy clapping, rose tinted spectacle wearing, forever optimists are saying. I feel that the article is practically bang on and indeed provides a reality check. I actually feel that it did contain several positive statements, albeit more in a hopeful nature - which is again realistic. There is equally a drop of humour mixed in. I had even found myself agreeing to a degree with the Jamboree rodent - As many of us have alluded to before last season was a feckin disaster area from start to finish. This pre season has not been anywhere as bad but we are starting off the campaign with a relatively untried squad, there are still doubts about the first eleven, tactics have been variable and we are really at risk with injury prone signings with no experience comparable to the SPL. But the slate is clean and the murmurs is that the togetherness factor is back and we have players. Yearning to play for the shirt, with a blend of experience and yoof. The performances on the park however are the proof of the pudding and hopefully there will be more positives to ponder on and provide fresh hope this evening. O2B
  10. Wow, not a single positive in the entire article...hopefully someone is ensuring you are kept away from all sharp objects!!!

ICT & The SPL being dragged kicking & screaming into using the internet............the MLS offical YouTube page is great, highlights of each game, best goal/player/misses packages every week. a great example of what the SPL needs to showcase it's talent.

Watched all the videos earlier. Good to see the club doing something more innovative.
  14. Ian Black signs contract in the new Rangers trophy room.
  15. Not calling for his head yet but I do think he needs to take responsibilty for this seasons debacle. It has been wretched and I for one cant wait for it to end. The ones that should maybe be ost concerned are the board because the shouts of "Im not renewing my season ticket to watch this rubbish" are becoming deafening and fro folk who have stuck by this club in good and bad times.
