  1. Surely its actually better that there isn't a singing section and everyone who says they want to sing are spread out cos that way the whole away end will be bouncing and not just one tiny section??? Getting a good atmosphere at away games has never been a problem so don't really know what the fuss is about

Good player, yes, but legend? Hardly. I feel this word is banded about far too easily, and often these days. For the reasons you quoted yourself (ie his nasty side) I would never view him anywhere near legend status. Anyway, have we really missed him? Arguably Hayes and maybe A Shinnie have been his equal, or better at times.
  3. Back to Foran's fault again, I'm sure some folk have their posts written before waiting for a day like Sunday to use them. He gets pissed off when getting beat, does anyone really think that footballers can't take criticism from their own team mates? The best teams I played in had a strong vocal presence and that's what he is. Plus a pretty good player on a great scoring streak before his injury. For those who don't think we need to strengthen let Sunday be a lesson. We have a paper thin squad and need to get in some experience. It can be done with no money, it's a great shop window as Draper etc are able to testify. We are still a bottom 4 team who have been punching above our weight and been fortunate with not too many injuries. Keep the faith but ca canny with the over criticism and over optimism when things are going well - it's a long season ahead and despite poor support the team continues to try to entertain.

'' They have read bits of Kant'' read a bit? im friend with kant on facebook! i must be the inteligent one then. Kant the Highland Marcher ;) Kant kant remember his farcebook password though.
  5. Because a lot of people like to moan about stuff but not actually do anything to help find a resolution.
  6. I have deleted a flippant comment I put on here earlier. I saw Gringo Jnr's post without having seen the OP and as a result thought this was a flyer for a commerial event and was not aware that this event is, in fact, being organised by hard working volunteers in order to raise the profile of the Supporters Society and for the good of ICT. I do appreciate the commitment and hard work that volunteers put into such events and therefore apologise unreservedly for any offence my comment might have caused. I'm not a boxing fan myself but please accept my best wishes and hopes for a very successful event.
  7. Bobos put it perfectly & as for the bit he has highlighted as well as the idea & points included in this forum surely it shows I'm moaning AND making a valid & reasonable attempt at a resolution? As for home games, we do more than most to get an atmosphere going. The majority of our fans don't contribute to an atmosphere anyway. CaleyD what else do you want us to do exactly? Majority of us go home & away to try create an atmosphere, some sensible ideas have been put on here?

  9. Caley Jags Together are not "self acclaimed" in any way, shape or form. They are a group of fans...now numbering in excess of 300...with a democratically elected board. If you, or anyone else, is not satisfied with the work being done by those board members, then there's nothing whatsoever standing in the way of you coming forward and putting yourself up for election or volunteering your time to help. We haven't always got it right and we haven't always been able to achieve the things we would like...but we are at least trying. If some people put as much time and effort into helping as they put into coming on here criticising the efforts of others and making demands of them....then ICT would easily be able to achieve everything we want, and more. After all....it's not Rocket Science!!!!

Remember, they've got a midweek game in Portugal before this fixture. We need to take the game to them. Get the ball forward, get it in the box, get in their faces and put them under pressure!
  11. Jeeez. MacDairmid and Dens. TOO SMALL. 10,000 seats. Hearts will sell 10,000 anyway. People would miss out on tickets. Tannadump. 14,000 tickets. Possibility but might still be a bit tight. Pittodrie- holds enough but a crap venue. Hampden. Too big. The cost of rent means we‘d make no money. Easter Road. Perfect! 18,000 seats. Not too big. not too small Fantastic stadium which can generate great atmosphere. Friendly pubs around ER. Hearts will out number us where ever we go anyway!!! Good decision. Some of our fans are sounding like Kenny Shiels ;)
