  3. Strongly against the proposal to split top league and 2nd league after 22 games and zero the points - this has been tried in Switzerland and has been thrown out -so why would we want to go that road - a bigger league is what is required and should be put into place at the end of next season when everyone knows what they are playing for

  6. Good thing about Mckay being signed for ages is that a transfer bid for him would have to be pretty tasty to get him!

  7. Well done, for me he's one of our stand out players. He's a class above most other centre midfielders in the league imo.

  9. Raven has been one of our most consistent players this season, never thought id say that a month into the season. Would definitely be next on my list, hes become an integral part of the backline.

  11. LEGENDS: Jim Calder, Charlie Christie, Barry Wilson, Alan Hercher, Danny MacDonald, Scott Kellacher, Colin Mitchell, Mike Sanderson, Bruce McGraw, Ross Jack, Gary Watt, Steve Mitchell, Dean Bowern, John Robertson, Mike Noble FANS: GK: Jamie Fraser Def: Davy Brown, Dom Thompson, Alan Mair, Ian McCallum Mid: Struan Balfour, Mikey Martin, Ross Paterson, Stephen Cameron For: Rob Wilson, Colin Clellend Subs: Davie Balfour, Jamie MacKinnon, Andrew MacDonald, Jack Davis Special Guest Appearence: Kenny Cameron It was a cracking day and all the fans got pretty decent time on the park. Everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly and all are up for a repeat next season. Jamie Fraser kept the score down with a string of magnificent saves and was deserving of winning the Man of the Match award. Dom did very well at the back also and would have been up there for nomination too. All the fans side gave it their best effort, and those that turned up to watch the event also seemed to have a good time (although that may have been because the sports bar was open throughout the contest.)

  12. Hi guys and gals No SPL Fixture this weekend to brigten up yer day ? Then I've got an invitation for you all. Come to East End Park to help Save the Pars! We need as many football supporters as possible to get behind us to help our office staff, players and backroom staff and help save our club. It could quite possibly be our last game tomorrow - I know this is an emotive subject and not all supporters of all clubs give a damn about other clubs even those in a differnet division, but I'm hoping for a positive outcome - and from our own support too. We would love as many SPL supporters to attend our game v Dumbarton tomorrow. Admission prices – tickets available at the stadium: Main Stand (on Halbeath Road) £19, concessions £13, Under12s £7 All other stands £17, concessions £11, Under 12s £5 Family tickets – only available in the Norrie McCathie Stand One adult & one u12 £20 / two u12s £22 If you would like to make a donation to help our club, the Pars Supporters Trust have provided a Staff Support Fund to ensure our club staff, players and backroom staff are helped financially and directly. If you would like details on how to donate please do not hesitate to contact me by PM or by my email: [email protected]. Thanks for reading. Buffy x

  14. Great day at TCS and everyone I spoke to enjoyed themselves....despite the cold weather. Final score was 6-2 to the Legends, but I think it's only right we declare it a draw with the Legends winning the first half and the Fans winning the second half. So many people to thank for chipping in and helping....so I won't try and list them all for fear of missing anyone, just know that it was appreciated. Special mention to the ICT Chairman, Kenny Cameron, for pulling on a shirt and making an appearance for the fans team....and doing so despite a shoulder injury, so don't anyone tell his osteopath!!!

  16. If the boy from Norwich City had kept his cool Scotland would have won that game, although Wales passed them off the park. I like Miller he has done yeoman service for club and country in the past, but it was as you say a great opportunity to give Rhodes a go. After all he is scoring every week more or less for lacklustre Blackburn Rovers team. If we have ( I say we because I feel for Scotland although I am a sassenach, but I do have a highlander grandaughter ) a plan for the future it should be for the rest of this campaign, to give all the young lads a go. Nothing to lose I also think Chris Coleman seems to have more about him tactics wise than Gordon Strachan, time will tell on that front England seem to have an abundance of riches , leaving out their Captain Steven Gerrard and still winning , Anyway I have my fingers crossd for Wales now pity Ramsay will be banned he is one hell of a talent.

  18. Top 6, Keeping the dwellers in the shadows, first SPL Highland derby, making Deek become obsessed, Billy scoring when he wanted, Shinniesta pulling on a Scotland jersey, actually having the majority of the team signed up for next season, Butcher knocking back Barnsley, tearing shreds out of the Sevco at Ibrox, Roberts bawsack ruining County's injury time "winner", Vigurs greetin, coming back from 3 down at Tannidice, rakes more goals and other moments of entertainment that can be added too and this is all with plenty more of the season left. I was one of many that thought we would struggle, been made to eat the words. I can happily claim this has been one of the best seasons ive ever experienced in my young life an ICT fan, long may it continue.
