  1. Decided that I was going to put together a tartan design based shirt thinking it would look hideous and then post it on here to wind everyone up. However, it didn't quite go to plan because everyone I showed it to liked it!!!!

  2. I know you are just backing up your employers CB, but even you have to admit that as the "only" cut, its a fairly significant one !!! As for the £2 a week fee, and the not so subtle "UK based" comment ... those of us overseas cant pay the BBC for a service they dont offer to overseas listeners when they restrict their coverage to uk only. I would happily pay the BBC the same £6 a month it costs me to maintain a UK based VPN connection through a third party. Dont think either the BBC or indeed the SPL have grasped the global nature of the Internet and the futility of geo-blocking coverage for what is not viewed as a "top tier" league by anyone other than the fans of it .........

  3. That's a terrific lob by Draper. Calm, precise, the right option. Seem to think we've had quite a good few one-on-ones this season...pity they didn't all end like that (he says greedily). Great result in a great season. 50 points pre-split...outstanding

  4. The Telegraph had an article where richie said ICT had one or two "billy big times" earlier in the season but the manager got rid of them. Any ideas who he is talking about? How early in the season....? regardless. A good article found very prominently on Flipboard app...picture and all...worldwide exposure. Also, without googling it, anyone familiar with what a Stakhanovite work ethic is? I consider myself pretty learned, but... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/inverness/9964117/Inverness-on-the-brink-of-the-big-time-after-culling-Billy-Big-Times-says-Richie-Foran.html

  5. so here's the table .... Top 5 now guaranteed a top 6 finish. 6th-9th will fight it out for last spot and even that may be irrelevant if Killie have a good win on Wednesday. Us to win (big) on Fri V St Johnstone (53) County to lose Sat to Hearts (45) St Mirren to win Sat V Motherwell (53) Celtic to lose to Hibs (66) DUFC/Aberdeen - irrelevant Killie to lose to Dundee (41) that would be a good week

  7. Yeah, it's mad! Falkirk could be straight into the 3rd Qualifying Round draw! To be honest, there's a fair chance that if we do qualify, our oppenents will be a team we've never heard of! (and probably vice versa!!!) We have to play one more qualifier than the cup winners!?! Thats not very fair

  9. A tartan top would be a great marketing idea. It would have to match the MacRae tartan for me to buy it though ;)

  10. Aye one is definitely Blackman. Starting fights in training was a rumour that did the rounds as well. Quite a good player, but obviously a complete twit of a person. If you look at who else was punted early on, there was Martins, Brislen-Hall, Oswell. Don't know about any of them, but I seem to recollect Brislen-Hall being friendly with his team-mates going by their Twitter pages. I think it could well be just Blackman Foran is referring to.

  11. In the run up to Christmas, the players on Twitter were talking about collecting the 'fines' imposed to fund the night out and there was a bit of banter about who would go and collect all of the fines Blackman accrued. I don't think they were keen to try and get him to pay up

  12. Terrific result for the lads...made up in some measure for the miserable performance of my other team against Birmingham (0-4)...the match on Friday is live on Sky down here, so really excited to be able to sit down with the wife and a beer and watch it.

  13. Thought I'd add my tuppence worth, in support of Rasczak who'd got it largely correct in post 16, despite PMF's subsequent protestations. There are a number of situations whereby County could still lose out on 6th spot at the split :- 1)County lose to Hearts leaving them on 45. Then Killie win their two outstanding games to get to 47, and Dundee Utd win their two outanding games getting them to 46, then St. J beat us getting them to 47. 2)Same as no 1) except we draw with St J leaving St J with 45, the same as County. Then it would be down to GD between St J and County, which could go either way. 3) County lose to Hearts leaving them on 45. Dundee Utd win their next two games getting them to 46. St J beat ICT getting them to 47. Killie take 4 points from their two games getting them to 45. Then Killie would get 6th on GD. 4) County draw with Hearts getting them to 46. Killie win their two games getting them to 47. St J beat ICT getting them to 47. Dundee Utd win their two games getting them to 46. Then 6th would be on GD between County and Dundee Utd. Admittedly County have a superior GD at the moment, but a bad loss for them and two good wins for Utd would make it very close. So, it is still very much up in the air as to whether 'the shadows' join us in top 6. Personally, I hope they do.

  14. Disagree. Over the years Rangers and Celtic have dominated Scottish football and they and their supporters have treated other clubs as training fodder from which to poach the best players. In Rangers case it became apparent that not content to be one of the two biggest clubs with levels of income that the rest of Scottish football could only ever dream of having, they were using all sorts of dubious financial means to further their aims. Now they have been found out and are briefly suffering the consequences in the wilderness of the lower reaches of the league structure. Having been mocked and patronised over the years for supporting my no hope North of Scotland team - my local team - I make absolutely no apologies for taking the opportunity for having a dig or two at Rangers and the discomfort of their fans whilst they languish in the lower divisions. Of course we must celebrate our own success, but the fact that this success comes at a time when Rangers are out of the picture makes it so much sweeter because our success has been built around sound financial management. Contrasting our success with their stuttering rehabilitation illustrates a triumph of honest endeavour over the shady wheeling and dealing of big business and the bully mentality. Don't see anything pathetic in that. In any case. let's not forget the age old custom of the bragging rights of the football fan. We certainly have bragging rights over The Rangers at the moment, so let's make good use of them whilst we can. As sure as night follows day, The Rangers will buy their way back to the top of Scottish football in 3 or 4 years and we will again be subjected to the usual patronising disdain. Don't be such a killjoy - enjoy it whilst you can!

  15. Some key moments of the game.... 1 the moment the ball left Ross Drapers foot 2 Griffith was on side when the ball was kicked 3 I think the team in blue know it is a goal 4 Celebrating with the fans

  16. If we beat St Johnstone on Friday and if other results go our way, we could be 8 points clear in 3rd at the split. That would put us a fantasticly strong position for clinching a European place or even 2nd in the SPL. Friday now becomes the most important game of the season and a win would put the pressure on the chasing pack. Getting into the top 6 has been a great achivement but maintaining current form could see the team achieve something very special. Let's hope the fans turn out in numbers and get close to creating the kind of atmosphere there was against County a couple of weeks ago.

  17. That shyte would choke before he says anything gracious about his bigger neighbours, i hope they scrape into the top 6 and we play them and win 1-0 with a dodgy pen. oh that would be sweet. However more importantly, a win vs Perth saints could see county top six, wonder if gobshyte would say anything then?
