  3. Relieved not to have lost after that performance. I think those players with offers on the table and who have not signed up should do so now. Having played so poorly on a televised match I can't see better offers coming in for anyone. No movement off the ball, no vision, poor control, poor shooting. Given that we are 5 points clear in 3rd spot I was expecting a confident performance but it must rank as one of the worst of the season. Hopefully the players can take heart from the fact that they didn't lose and can get back to winning ways after the split.

  4. If it pans out like that then surely it would be the shortest walk in history of the Highland Marchers - Inverness to Dungwall. Unless they go via Wester Ross. Actually, we will go via Wester Ross if we get Dingwall. Already done the route planning just in case a few months back. Out to Beauly, then follow the Highland Cross route to Kintail, keep going to Kyle. (It would be rude not to spend the night in Skye as well) double back over the bridge, head north up towards Kishorn then East through Wester and Easter Ross down into Dingwall! Fair play to you guys! Brilliant.

  5. Thing is, it hasn't been proved it doesn't work. It just didn't in switzerland and for a variety of reasons. As various people have already said, the reason for change NOW is that there is a window to alter the voting structure that won't be there in a couple of years if we sit on our hands. The status quo will have been restored and the west coast city dwellers will be happy. So it has to be now, or never really. It's always going to happen that change will bring some kind of uncertainty, but that's no reason not to change. So change now, and then if the league is as bad as some are predicting (although I fail to see how) we at least have a voting structure that allows us to tinker with it.

  6. The only way Scottish football would get stronger was if half of the clubs went into administration today. That is the real reason why no radical change can happen because as we all know loan payments are hardly optional. if clubs were solvent, they'd be able to take a few years downtime. Put all debt ridden clubs into administration. gonna happen sooner or later anyway.

  7. Good noises from the singing guys Fraser I agree.......... I don't normally complain but my usual Friday out night contains sex drugs and rock and roll so this was a bit of a let down for me

  8. St Johnstone made it very difficult for us to do anything. Yet again people are walking out of the stadium complaining. At the start of the season our main objective was to stay in the SPL. Yet, people are moaning because we have DRAWN, not lost, but drawn to a good St Johnstone side. Tonight, during the game we were discussing contenders for ICT's POTY and there were at least 7. That shows how good a season it has been. 5 games to go, 15 points to play for, so lets really get behind the boys instead of constantly being negative about the team. Also, thought i should say that it was great to hear section E and it would be excellent if we could get the whole stand doing that.

  9. Nah, routine stuff, although his handling was good, not deserving of points though, unlike Meekings who was once again superb, strong and fast, another good night for Josh.

  10. If Ryan makes an appearance off the bench tonight it will be the first time a Father and Son have both appeared for ICTFC. Although I am now expecting someone with a far better memory than me to blow my fact out of the water.

  11. first time this season i have watched on tv instead of being at the game.we were gash. top priority next season is a forward who can hold the ball up, maybe win the odd header. also a winger who can beat a defender, not just look busy twisting and turning going nowhere except backwards or sideways. we had a couple of chances 2nd half but they fell to the wrong shinnie and doran. the right shinnie should have put his header on target first half nothing on the bench to change the game. before xmas we would have scored a couple of goals tonight. then again maybe let a couple in

  12. Don't know what to think of the result. But to be fair, both keepers deserved the clean sheets.

  15. What is the rush to get this through for next season. It has already been proven that the 12 12 18 model with the split does not work. The whole situation is crazy there is just over a month till the end of this season and you have teams who have no idea what league they will be playing in next season. As I said before there needs to be a clearout of the the top dogs in Scottish football and strong characters who know and love the game brought in to guide Scottish football forward and make it stable and stronger for the future.

  17. Doncaster is a tattie talking mince. In a better world only chairmen who have clubs running effectively and without piles of debt would be allowed to debate what can work going forward and that would narrow the number down a fair bit wouldn't it. The rest are just grabbing at anything that will get them a wee bit more cash in and to hell with the fans (mugs) who actually pay and come along. Our national team is already a laughing stock, the league will be even more so. Half way through a season some clubs go back to zero points and start again - complete rubbish. I'd like to see Doncaster's point of view but I can't get my heid that far up my own arse.

  19. This is a football forum. This thread is in the "Other Football" forum. The rangers and the 3rd division fall into this category, therefore I suggest that the OP is not a "clown" nor is the topic "pathetic" or "boring". And just to clarify when it comes to sevco my stance is... HA!

  20. I would rather the league's stay as they are for next season rather than rushing the 12, 12, 18 idea with the ridiculous split. That gives over a year to get some sensible ideas on the table to discuss. What is the point of going from bad to worse and driving away even more fans from the Scottish game.
