What a thrilling game between Belgium and the USA last night! It goes to show that it is not quality football that necessaril;y entertains, but a real desire to play attacking football. There was some poor defending with players being out of position and allowing attacking opportunities to develop for the opposition and there was some poor finishing by the Belgians who kept aiming at Howard's legs rather than lifting the ball over his flailing arms as he went to ground early time after time. Made for a really exciting game though. If Iain Stewart had been in the Belgian side last night he would probably have scored about 10.
  4. Why not pop along and see for yourself ?
  5. Crazy how long we take to release new replica strips I would have thought like season tickets the priority would be to get as many as possible sold ASAP so the money is in the bank and could be made available to Yogi for squad additions or ground improvements Regardless whether it's the clubs fault or the supplier it's time for better communication between the two in future Dougal
  6. CaleyD you clearly dislike Dougal intensely but in this instance he makes an entirely valid point. The annual shambles surrounding the release of our strips is frankly an embarrassment to both the club and Errea. Ymip jr has given up asking when it's coming out and has splashed his cash elsewhere. Every club in the league releases their strip ahead of the school holidays and pre-season. Clearly the commercial department (sic) at ICT know better. Defending the indefensible.....as per.

FT 4-0. Not quite clear whether the third goal was Dorans or an og from the clach player Trialist striker looked quite good. Worked hard, had a good touch, held the ball up well and seemed to link well with the other lads. Think he would be a useful addition as back up. Don't think he'd be quite ready to challenge Billy for a start quite yet
  9. Heard Og had a good game.
  10. Ryan Baptie (RyanBaptie) on Twitter https://twitter.com/RyanBaptie The latest from Ryan Baptie (@RyanBaptie). Professional footballer for Hibernian FC. Edinburgh. Thats what I get when I search but one of the posts mentions living in inverness so it's more than likley!
  11. Dougal can often be controversial and sometimes divisive but he is a regular contributor and, whether you or indeed I agree with it or not, seems to make a reasonable enough point. I really don't see how it can be dismissed as trolling.

  13. Explain? Your avatar? My avatar is due to my support for both sides. As a child I was brought up supporting both teams not thinking that either would ever be playing in the same league. I would like to add that I did start this topic as a way of notifying Inverness fans of the charity game next month hoping that there would be much more of an interest and support for your own club. I would much appreciate it if you could keep any comments that have nothing to do with the match away from this topic please. I do not want it cluttered with inappropriate comments. If it is to continue I will be more than happy to delete the topic. Guys, please adhere to my request. I'm doing this for charity, not to have a slagging match over the bridge. Thank you in advance.
  14. As I noted a week or so ago, he could find form again with us. I would certainly take a chance with him. As the Father of a teenage Daughter I don't want that beast anywhere near Inverness .
  15. Now there's a point, does Dougal's owner stick to the letter of the law and clean up his sh*t behind him?
