  1. Congratulations to Ryan! He's just come on as a 72 minute sub for Scotland U21s in Luxembourg!
  2. So can I pay at gate?
  3. I think brining Emile Heskey in will be the biggest coup ever. When is he signing?
  4. Sunday 1245 k.o's spoil the whole match day experience for me. I don't get to many home games in a season but when I do its nice to meet up with friends for a beer prior to the game. The pre match build up and banter is lost on these occasions. No thought is ever given to supporters when match days and k.o times are changed and the SPFL or whatever they're called certainly don't give a stuff about how fans will get to games or, indeed, check for weekend rail engineering works as that's 'our' problem. Its annoying but something we have to put up with in these days of commercialised football. Money talks and TV rules I'm afraid. I did have plans to attend this game but I'll probably give it a miss now.
  5. No great surprise he was unused, a bit like the best left back in the land not getting into the senior squad, Central Belt bias.
  6. And their share of all the TV deals for SPFL games. Without sounding like I am backing K.O changes, without a League sponsor the TV money is the highest income the league has. The clubs have gate money but this alone is not enough to keep clubs afloat. The club would get that share even if they had no TV games during the season but chances are you would get bigger home attendances . So if we are on Tv it would be best if we were playing away So what you are saying is " Give us our share of the money but don't inconvenience us. Make all other teams change and not us." With the job I do changing K.O times makes it really difficult to get to some games, but without the TV money we probably could not survive as a club in the way that we do. Twenty years ago if you were asked if you would like to see a Highland Derby live on National TV, after you stopped laughing, you would have loved the idea. Instead of criticising TV companies for wanting to show us live, let's just think about what has been achieved in the last twenty years for this to happen.
  7. ICT v Hearts at the Caledonian Stadium, 6pm tomorrow (Tuesday 9th September)
  8. I think the biggest coop is probably the one next to the old B&Q.
  9. I prefer Billy because he is still at the club - end of.
  10. While I appreciate this impacts on supporters who travel from the central belt, surely there should be enough home supporters to not dent the crowd a huge deal or the atmosphere. When game was on a Friday night, it didn't impact on crowd or atmosphere and final Sunday game two years ago at Dingwall did not impact hugely on the crowd. The endless negative postings on this feed through to people who read this and have an impact on the crowd. Sure it would have been better to be on a Saturday but so say this will kill crown and atmosphere seems a bot OTT. I'm not so sure tbh. Neither club gets great attendances when their games are on a Sunday. Friday nights seem easier for folk transport and lifestyle wise. I wonder if there are still a significant minority that don't attend on Sundays for religious reasons? I will be there as usual tho and as you say the atmosphere should still be fine.
  11. How to kill a crowd and atmosphere: move the game to a Sunday and have an early kick-off
