  1. Some of you may recall a Kevin McCann who played for us on loan from Hibs for the first half of the 2010-11 season but struggled wth injury. Well after leaving Hibs in 2011 he had short spells with Morton, Livi and Raith before joining Singapore S-League side Warriors. McCann and Warriors have just won the 2014 S-League becoming apparently the first Scot to win that title!!!
  2. The club appreciate all feedback and I know that they are looking at a series of different incentives over the next couple of months. From there they will look at those which have worked (for both fans and club) and look to make adjustment where necessary....not just in terms of offers, but potentially at ticket policy in general going forward. The "Friends for a Fiver" offer realised the targets set for it by the club...and whilst I wouldn't expect it to be one of those things that becomes a permanent deal, it's entirely feasible that it will be repeated and I have suggested that it's maybe something that can be added to season ticket books next season.....a couple of vouchers in the book that can be used to bring a friend for £5 to any match type thing. As fans, we have our part to play in this by spreading the word and making sure offers/incentives etc are used responsibly. If you're on Facebook/Twitter (and we're working on video ads for YouTube) then taking 2 seconds to share the info can go a long way towards helping....liking is great, but a share is infinitely more valuable when it comes to getting the info in front of as many people as possible. We're also going to be making all future match posters available (sooner) and to download, so if you are in a position to print one and stick it up at work, school, college, social club, local shop, pub or whatever, then that would also be a great help.

Never been quite the same since they moved from section G imo.

Other than him, Celtic don't really pose too much of a threat. We have the ability to beat them, so let's go for it!'Celtic don't really pose too much of a threat' says Roughi - but goes for a 4-1 Celtic win in Gringo's NPL prediction league! If you take Guidetti out of their team, they ain't nothing special...but I wouldn't take what I say on the NPL for granted, I had us to win 6-1 at St Mirren... What do I know
  5. No thanks. Seen enough of those neds for one year.
  6. John H had to overcome more than just the reluctance of players to buy into his methods, he had also the negativity and severe criticism to absorb, consider, reject and stick to his guns. It was his way or the highway which I think shows the mettle of the man. -Courage, tenacity and belief. These are all valuable traits in a person. What I did not particularly care for with Mr. Butcher was a sense that he was insincere and a bit too angry on more than one occasion to be altogether believable. This seemed to precede a revelation of unpredictability and a bit of imbalance, perhaps, in his personality. For sure, the way he acted in the final analysis was so self-motivated and such an awful way to treat both the club in general and the top Management as well revealed what he was all about. With John Hughes I get a strong feeling that what you see is what you get so you can predict with more confidence what the actual goals are for him and how he will react in adversity. I shoirt I have confidence and trust in him. For me that means a great deal.
  7. Technically speaking, holding a season ticket, also 'does the club out of revenue'! It irritates the heck out of me that season ticket holders seem to adopt a moral high-ground. as if having one demonstrates some sort of 'extra' affiliation to the club! I pay full fare when I go, and over a season it translates to more than season ticket holders pay. More fool me, obviously - but I do it because I love the club. It's reminiscent of disgruntled customers approaching me, in my former work, with an opening salvo of "I'm a shareholder here so..." or in my current employment with " I pay your wages, so..." Being a season-ticket holder doesn't make you special, and insulting those who aren't as "fans" is just daft - every body we can get inside the stadium helps! Our recent return of a five-figure sum as profit could easily be six-figures. We lost 500 fans per game last season x 19 = 9,500 spectators. Multiply that by just £20 each = £190,000!! It's significant! I really take issue, DALNEIGHCALEY, at your suggestion that this could lose us money! Nobody going is suddenly now not going to bother! - it's all extra money in the till - albeit a small amount - and maybe a few extra fans! I think it's a good initiative by ICT, even if it sticks in the craw of some season ticket holders!
