  1. Maybe we could contribute by offering say a five pound discount on admission to all their fans travelling on subsidised transport. If it generated enough additional support it could be self financing. We could balance any injustice felt by home supporters by offering a five pound discount voucher to be redeemed at a future home game thereby increasing the crowd at the cup tie and also the next couple of home league fixtures.

God is not required when I am on call.
  3. I voted no for a few reasons ...... I would rather see St Mirren go down automatically and if County were to end up in the playoff spot then its not a leap to think they would be playing some team from Govan and as others have said ... be careful what you wish for ! Also, its far more fun having them perpetually in our shadow in the same division, and pissing off the central belters by having to make twice as many trips to the Highlands every year !
  4. I'd be worried about you if you could - and inviting you round for coffee...
  5. It says nothing about scottish managers and everything about an unsustainable money driven model of short termism in the EPL. It wlll swallow up and spit out managers regardless of their nationality.
  6. Have you been watching 50 shades of grey? He priobably wants a spanking new striker too.

Love it! Chuckled away to myself. Banter at football is what makes it. Childish humour, but I remember as a 16 year old watching Ipswich v Oldham (don't ask) and the Oldham fans struck up the "give me a teeee...eee"...since when did Oldham start with "t"? The next letters were I, t and s. The next line was "and what do you do with t!ts?" "Oldham, Oldham". Maybe you had to be there and be an adolescent boy, but it's rare to see 20,000 home supporters fall about laughing and applaud an opponent's song
  8. Hoodoo me erse. Let's put it firmly to bed by winning all our remaining Feb fixtures too.
  9. As others have said wouldn't be gutted to lose them next season. Hearts always bring a decent away crowd up to us and then also Rangers and Hibs as well bring decent amounts so we won't suffer on the gates. I also think away teams will more likely come to ours knowing they only need to come to the Highlands once or twice instead of three or four.
  10. Steady on old chap! It's a shame there aren't any Scottish managers there just now but it's a bit early to be reaching those kind of conclusions about a long term demise when it is only 3 seasons since arguably the best league in the world was dominated by Scots managers, far more than it ever had been, and outnumbering any other nationality. There were 7 Scottish managers at one point (all Glaswegians, in fact), a quite remarkable state of affairs, but one which was always going to be unsustainable given the high rate of managerial turnover.
  11. We'd be better off financially if they went down......
  12. Missed the draw. Who did C*unty and Aberdeen get?
  13. According to blog site trivia Dundee Utd will now play Celtic on three consecutive weekends in three different competitions at three different venues

If that is in fact the case then Richie's injury must have been a bad one.. much more serious than anybody might be willing to admit. When it involves ligaments or such, which don't have their own blood supply but absorb nutrients by osmosis, then it's always going to be a race against time. And then depression sets in, followed by premature attempts to come back too quickly when you start to feel less pain. Unless Richie has had a really top class surgeon who worked on him then it's very possible that he will feel the effects of this injury for many many years. All we can do is wish him the very best of luck and hope his recovery now is swift.
