@‌ICTFC (on Twitter) : Pleased to confirm the signing of Jordan Roberts, subject to international clearance. We'll bring you more info later. Great news !
  3. ICT : Esson, Horner, Raven, Warren, Devine, Vincent, Draper, Trialist (number 9), Doran, Christie, Tansey. Subs : Jason Brown, Rennie, Polworth, Trialist, Trialist, Trialist, Trialist, Foster (GK). Pic from the official twitter.
  4. Was at the game tonight to check out some of the trialists. Dani Lopez started up front in the first half and I was reasonably impressed, would definitely take another look at him. His movement was excellent but his touch wasn't that great but I'm sure that will come. jordan Roberts is already signed and I have to say I think we've got a find here. Oliver Norburn came on second half for draper and played alongside Tansey but played in a very deep position between the two centre backs almost just passing it from right to left. Not a bad player, didn't do anything special but steady enough as for the other two JJ Hooper and the number 20 (liam something I think), I am praying we don't sign either of them. Both didn't look interested. No idea if that number 20 just won a competition to play or something but we was just awful, poor touch, didn't close down anyone and I think he gave the ball away every time he got it. But at least he occasionally looked for the ball, I left before hoopers goal but before that he hardly touched the ball.

Soooo many potential pitfalls here fan of another club does it to cause mayhem. I assume contract can be terminated? As pointed out, 'player' says something on social media and club is brought to task 'player' behaviour in public or at any other ground would the club be able to claim 'emergency' requirement for signings if they have 5 additional 'players' in the squad Will it be compliant with employment, sex discrimination, immigration or residency laws? for example are females allowed? this is ten foot barge pole stuff .... things that seem like a great idea after 10 pints that in the cold light of day should never have got beyond the brainstorming session !
  6. Steve Marsella has joined up with Terry Butcher at Newport, in the combined role of goalkeeping coach and scout.

Don't see much point. It's one of those conversations that takes place every season....get's an explanation every season....but still doesn't prevent the same conversation being had the following season. All I can say is that as soon as there's information to be had, I'll make sure it gets out there. I would fire out some teasers, but that just about got me strung up last time

The potential issues could run sooooo much deeper. What if the winning bidder was to bet on a football match, posts comment online/say something derogatory in public with regards to another team/player/official or any of the many other rules that come with being a registered player? These are not "options" when it comes to being given a contract/registration and they are all things which can carry a financial penalty for both "player" and club. A few years ago I may have even bid myself in order to create a bit of mayhem....!!!

Errea have been a shambles for years. I remember a few years back (the Flybe striped kit), the first team's kits didn't turn up until the week before the season started. We had to play almost all of pre-season in training kits. The black named away kit didn't turn up until October. Last season we were the last club to announce our new home kit (and not for the first time). Why the club have never called time on this mob I don't know. You'd have thought with the cup final still pretty fresh and the Europa League game next week, with the players back in, you'd have thought this week would be the perfect time to showcase the new away kit. Sadly though, I'm disappointed but not surprised.

Agree with you Scotty but even the lower league English clubs inc The Conference have released Errea kits weeks ago! Do Errea make our kits or do we buy a template and then print out own club crest and sponsor? No matter who's to blame I feel like the club has lost a great chance to get extra revenue through kit sales after the cup win and the European tie. This happens every season so why not address it a little bit earlier in year around April so we don't have these issues again?

If we want to play with the best in the country we need to maximise income on every commercial angle. Yes it seems unfair on fans but wages have to be met etc etc so I,m not against a new home and away shirt each year as it's a personal choice if you want to buy.

It's absolutely criminal how the manufacturers make tops that are programmed to shrink as soon as you approach middle-age.

Very sorry to hear about the Deveronvale Player, Bad enough in any game, but perhaps even worse in a pre-season friendly game. I hope his recovery goes well.
