It is a matter of opinion but while Yogi is our most successful manager given last season, In my view, there are at least a couple of candidates ahead of him for the title best ever..

Hughes reiterated on Sportscene last night that negotiations are ongoing. My concern is that he said "hopefully, something will be sorted out in the next couple of weeks"....which I'm sure is what he said a couple of weeks ago! Needs to be resolved ASAP.
  5. I think we all knew it was going to be a roller coaster season with the player losses and so many walking wounded. We are not half way through the season yet so I for one have no reason to think we will end up anywhere near the relegation zone much more likely to end up in the top six once again. We have the players in the squad to challenge and beat anyone in this league all we need is to get everyone fit and start fielding a settled team, then the confidence will come to start making and taking more chances and less slip ups at the back. It has been a hard slog for the Manager players and fans so far but I firmly believe better times are ahead and all will be well at the end of the season.
  6. Looks pretty certain we won't be seeing Ryan in an ICT shirt again. The Times is quoting Delia saying "We've taken him in now." Referring to his injury he says "He'll be out for about six to eight weeks, so he'll start training with us and working with the medical department now." He goes on to say "I think he will have played his last game for Inverness". If he has played his last game for us, it would be fitting if he was given the opportunity of coming on to the pitch before the game next week. It would be a goodbye from us and an introduction to the travelling Celtic support. Not only that, but it was his superb and very brave performance against Celtic at Hampden last year that was such a key contribution to us winning the Scottish Cup. Goodbye, thank you and good luck, Ryan.

Being honest this is probably a convinient error by a player which will be used as a reason to rectify an error by the management and club signing and paying for a player who isnt up to standard and is appearing an expensive mistake. Whether we agree its morally or ethically correct to keep or get rid, football is business and perhaps the club look at it as a way to cut their losses and move on. Would this have happened if it was a star player like Christie, Warrent etc - probably not as they have market and club value, but sadly thats the unfair way business and life is.

Completely disagree with terminating his contract.... he should be fined a couple weeks wages and accept whatever punishment the SFA impose. We shouldn't be the type of club that uses it as an excuse to free up wages, that's really poor and I'd like to think we are better than that, the guy has a young family to look after. Who knows.... this might give him the kick up the a*se he needs to start performing. I personally don't think he's a bad player, just lazy. if he doesn't perform he doesn't get a renewal at the end of the season, simples.
