  1. Made bezzie mates with fonners and happy to slum it for a year?
  2. Lot of talk about Shinnie, one guy even mentioned that he was sure he had seen him in Tesco today and recognised him instantly but thought afterwards "nah surely not" Could this be happening?
  3. The suspense is killing me
  4. 1 point
Not a promise but sales lady in JD told me they expect it to be this week however, wont know until day before that they will be available.
  5. The reason that matchday sales are not guaranteed for visiting fans of some clubs is because they have a history of selling large amounts of tickets in advance....i.e. there's no need for matchday sales OR there being so few tickets unsold that police do not want matchday sales and the risk of large number of fans being outside without tickets once they have sold. You'd then be moaning that, despite a "half empty stadium", an away fan dared give us money to sit in the home end and demanding they be removed....even if they had been sitting quietly watching their team getting beat.
  6. 1. ICT. 2. - 12. Who cares.
  7. I would say that Meekings is first choice but for as long as he is out and McNaughton is playing well he wouldn't be guaranteed to walk back into the side. Only criticism I have of McNaughton to date is that his passing is a wee bit poor out of defence but his reading of the game is superb and at 33 he is by no means done. Could be a very shrewd signing indeed. Delighted to have him.
  8. Great to see that the football will be positive and exciting.New signings look shrewd business by Ritchie.Doran to come back in. Season to look forward to and great start and right intention from a young manager with a vision.
  9. Surely if we don't progress from the group stage, some one will have to start a 'Foran out' thread!
  10. Meekings might struggle to get into the side if McNaughton stays fit. He was terrific yesterday.
  11. And tonight (23 July), Philip Roberts scored his first goal for Sligo Rovers since joining them a few months ago, in a 2-2 draw at Longford.
  12. Why do people think we need to strengthen the CB area? Meekings and Warren are first choice and we have others who can play there. Anyone who does sign will just be back up and we can't afford to have dead money for players who aren't realistically going to be starting when other areas of the team are more likely to be a priority.
  13. I'd have thought Thurso Caley Mahonio would've been a better name.
  14. Having requested a release from his contract at Luton to return to Northern Ireland due to family problems I hardly think he'll be likely to come to Inverness
  15. Can't believe we play in a half empty stadium but we can't make any guarantees that fans will be allow in! Have things got that bad?
  16. Couldn't disagree more. Anyone in the private sector is entitled to commercial confidentiality with respect to the terms and conditions of his employment. I really hope that the original question isn't based on the premise that football is somehow "different", because it isn't.
