  1. If you want a song for him, there's a ready made one - "Doumbouya, my lord, Doumbouya......"
  2. Of course they will Peleistheman haven't you noticed we have the most tolerant, forgiving and patient people on this forum. How could you even think differently !!!!!

I received a response with an invitation from the Chairman inviting me to go to the stadium to discuss the matter personally with him. Unfortunately I live down south so this wasn't an option. Instead I am awaiting a written response. I must give credit to the club and the Chairman for the speed of response, and openness to meet personally to discuss the matter face to face. I doubt there would be many club chairman willing to the same.
  4. Hope posters on here are going to give the guy a chance and no slagging off before he kicks a ball. Saw him on TV just now and he looks a big lad, just what we need up front in my opinion
  5. We need to get a surgeon for you.
  6. A lot has been made of the St Johnstone model of running a business. In fact its very much like ours. They have similar revenue and slightly higher wage bills. Generally when clubs wage bills are publicised its the overall figure that's discussed. Players and staff. Figures that were published by STV for 2010/11 season showed our wages as 2.03 million and St J as 2.7 million. At that time St J had a turnover of 4.1 million where ours was around 3 million. (If memory serves correct) St J may have a similar sized playing squad to us but they have a lot more full time staff. They run a very successful restaurant business that employs kitchen and waiting staff and is a seven day a week operation. Another advantage they have is that their ground is owned outright and therefore they have no rental or loan costs associated with it. They also have 3G training pitches that are frequently rented out and they are not competing with another Premiership team for sponsorship or advertising revenue
  7. Official ICTFC ‏@ICTFC 46s47 seconds ago SIGNING NEWS : Forward, Lonsana Doumbouya (26) joins #ICTFC from Cercle Brugge on a 2 year deal (subject to clearance). More info to follow… He's a big lad at 1.93, but what rhymes with Doumbouya.......................
  8. suffered the whole game, and saw nothing that would warrant a signing. i'm actually happy that we've opted for not signing, rather than signing anyone we can get...
  9. Page 2 of matchday thread Inverness CT v Ross Co, nobody clocked the mention of this game taking place in Nairn, then?

i like the mini-scarves with the wee suction cups for the car window, but haven't been able to source any. i prefer a nice polo shirt to a replica kit anyway.
  12. Apparently Jamar Loza has not been offered a deal and has returned south. I take it El Alagui's eage demands were too high. The story about Foran not offering him a deal due to match fitness sounds like nonsense to me.
  13. A tweet and a Facebook status telling folk the game is on surely isn't too much to ask. Especially given that they seem quite happy to tweet about all kinds of other nonsense like Pokemon and the Great British Bake Off.

An ICTFC tartan Johnson's scarf would be great. I don't buy replica kit anymore.

Thanks for your views Scotty parts of which I agree with and parts I don't. I still feel it would be a very simple task to answer the 2 questions but because there has been no answer I can only assume that this version of the new badge has been created by probably a couple of people for no valid reason. This is totally unacceptable to me and I hope to many other shareholders and long standing supporters of this club. Old Caley girl obviously wants the thread closed so if and answer is not forthcoming within the next 48 hours I will gladly take the matter up at the next AGM. IMO this subject could have been cleared up very quickly but those responsible obviously don't have the footballs to admit to their actions.
