  1. If there is a bus running to both I would go as the team needs our support regardless of where we are playing . I'm not going to let thugs spoil my enjoyment of football .Hopefully I'm not alone in my thoughts !!
  2. CalyJagsTogether are trying to gauge interest for running a bus to the Rangers and Celtic games as in previous years we have had very little interest and have had to cancel the bus. So, if your interested in us running a bus for either of theses games can you comment below to note your interest. If there are enough people interested we will run buses to these games.
  3. I'm sure a couple of sides have changed their fixtures already. County have certainly changed their game. I guess ICT will be chatting with Rangers about it. Hopefully we'll find out soon.
  4. They won't mess with you at Parkhead or Ibrox
  5. Jason Oswell scored another tonight (20 Sep) for Newtown AFC in a 2-1 loss at Cardiff Met in the Welsh League.
  6. Looks like I won't be needing a seat on the bus Hearach . Got my own transport !! :-) :-)
  7. Ah but will you be on the bus?

I got stupidly excited when I saw this topic appear. Feel a wee bit let down now Eight games in nine months for the kid. What a waste of talent. I'm sure he will be happy but I bet he's also wishing he was playing more often. Wouldn't be surprised to see him move on loan later in the season.
  9. Cheers I'm on the case !! :-) :-) :-)
  10. Where do we hire one of these from ? Problem solved !!
  11. I would go to both but appreciate if not sufficient interest then cost would be prohibitive. It would make sense to change Rangers date but when did sense ever come into play?
  12. Very pleased to have got something out of the game after gifting them 2 breakaway goals, not getting that penalty, surviving a second half onslaught and being subjected to a range of Irish anthems. It was amazing how their travelling morons fell silent when King, Billy and Fisher, Alex scored. As for Pat Nevin talking about the penalty claim on Sportscene last night, he still speaks about us as if he's never got over our 2015 Scottish Cup semi final win over the God's given right to win every trophy in Scotland mob. GIRU the lot of them!!
  13. It sure is Mantis. The wee man was a bit of an internet sensation as the youtube video and subsequent gif were all over Pie and Bovril and he went as far as to tell me he'd "gone viral". It was on our way back to the car after the semi-final win at Hampden. Funnier if you'd heard the boy foaming at the mouth prior to jr's timely intervention . Same guy filming who took the infamous "Jacqueline" clip.
  14. In recent seasons we've often lost last minute goals. This season we're starting to score crucial last minute goals. Very pleasing.
  15. I don't think it would have made any difference which end Draper had been
  16. Now that's what I call money well spent. What an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. The team were amazing the way they just kept going in the second half, despite the onslaught at the far end. Well done lads. It was great to see (and hear) the south stand being silenced. Our own singing section were fantastic - we liked the one that went something like 'Oh ho ho it's magic, you know, you'll never get past the Barco' - inspired. And it's good to see a mini singing section forming with the wee lads sitting in the next section along.
  17. Only got to 2nd half and watched most of it through my fingers as Celtic shots crashed off the woodwork, were blocked by desperate defending or parried away by the outstanding Fon Williams! As the half went on, you just sensed that Celtic were not going to score and that we might just get a chance or 2 to snatch a point. Subs were inspired and spot-on, although the free kick at the death would have been perfect for Vigurs! Still, Tansey nearly buried it and his cross for the leveller was excellent. Much to be proud of! The important thing is to capitalise next week against Dundee. Still not quite sure who best to play up front, but the rest of the team just about picks itself.
  18. Does anyone seriously believe that it would not have been given at the other end ?
  19. A great result. OFW was immense and rightly got man of the match but I also thought Carl Tremarco was outstanding. The desire and commitment he showed today was unreal. I wasnt sure if he was up to the job of been our regular left back when Shinnie left but he has proved me wrong. Such an improved player and his will to win and make tackles and blocks is such an asset to the team. Along with the Warren, Meekings, Mckay and OFW its great to have a solid looking back five again.
  20. Drapes should have stuck the ball in the back of the net before anyone could get anywhere near him. That would have stopped any argument.
  21. I have witnessed some superb goalkeeping displays over 22 years of following ICT, most notably from club legend Jim Calder but that performance by OFW today, especially in the second half, might just be the best of the lot. Getting our Welsh Wizard signed up on a long term contract over the Summer is looking an increasingly shrewd piece of business.
  22. Chorley Smileymometer adjudged from pub viewers who have rarely seen ICT before. FON WILLIAMS MOM by a wide feckin country mile - BEST EVER goalkeeping display by a Sneck keeper in years MAcKay Never really did much but neither did he do much wrong either TREMARCO To me he is the most improved player in the SPL. Some of my mates thought he was close to MOM WARREN Captain Fantastic and held the line well. MEEKINGS Probably at fault fer the second goal but also left unsupported. Otherwise solid in a very solid looking back four KING What a feckin peach of a goal as King Billy shuts off the secretarian songs from the away end. TANSEY Better display but frees from competition from Draper VIGURS Not shure if he should be the choice in these type of games. POLWORTH Simply NOT a wide player and I though that he was at fault for the first goal DRAPER In the hole as I have been advocating fer a long time. Tansey + Draper in midfield does not = Close to MOM - keep him there DOOMBAR I suspect that the statue of Flora moved more in the wind today. Lets hope he is unfit but he simply is NOT a lone striker - but FISHER is

After you have gone through the feckin nonsense of picking up a ticket make your way to the North Stand. Go past the Family Stand and then past a myriad of glum faced, sweetie rustling, boring and silent majority and stroll towards the only part of the ground where the voices of the more devoted throng of supporters can be heard. This noise attraction can usually be heard throughout the match. If you find yourself in a seat where the silence is only disturbed by shouts of abuse towards ICT players then again move towards the noise of vibrant support. And finally there is usually a flock of yellow coated tits gathering in front of the noisy element.
  24. Having watched the incident dozens of times I think Draper was on his way down before there was any contact, having said that if it had been at the other end they would have undoubtedly been given it . Could Drapers reputation for diving gone against him here ?
