  1. I did wonder if STFU was Dougal under a new name

  2. Funnily enough, being a born and bred Invernessian is not a requirement for being on the Board of the Supporters Trust. What is a requirement is a willingness to work with the Club for the mutual benefit of the Club and its fan base. None of the Board Members are anonymous. There are just the 5 of us. We would dearly like there to be more so that we could do much more for the club and its fans, but nobody else in a position to help has come forward. For supporters who do have a genuine interest in ICTFC and being involved in collaborative working between between the Club and its representative supporters body, nomination papers for election to the Trust Board will be sent out to members early in October prior to the AGM in December. There is therefore time for anyone who is not currently a member of the Trust but who would like to do something constructive to help the Club and our fellow supporters, to join the Trust prior to the issue of nomination papers. Of course the success or otherwise of the Trust is dependent not just on active members but on the size of the membership. Imagine what a powerful voice for the supporters body the Trust would be if its membership was similar in numbers to the number of season ticket holders. You can help make the Trust's voice more effective by joining here.

  3. Welcome back Dougal. You know I've never been a happy clapper although I don't agree with you all the time. Bit of a stretch to think that those people in 1994 actually had the foresight you're crediting them with. ICT for the incomers.... hmmm. Anyhow, I think the strip has been well received on here and loads sold and worn at the games. I've been on the Inverness Thistle facebook page for a year or two but I unfollowed it yesterday. Nothing but a few bitter old men in their own echo chamber who sound like they've never been near the stadium but eager to spout their excuses for not supporting the club. By the wording of your post above I think you probably know the thread I'm talking about

  6. Sligo won 2-0 tonight so 3-0 on aggregate. We need to see the cup game at Motherwell as one we want to win and can win, and hopefully we set up a lucrative last 8 match. Sligo are currently 5th in a 10 team league, 20 points off both top and bottom. They may have benefitted by playing in what is mid season for them, but the result is embarrassing for Scottish football.

  7. What utter utter nonsense. This does kinda make me think you haven't even been to the stadium. Hopefully you will take your last paragraph to heart and follow your own advice.

  9. Question 1. Why has it taken 28 years for ICT to even acknowledge Inverness Thistle? Question 2. Why the sudden change in tact just seems a very cynical attempt to get the fools from up the hill back on their plastic bandwagon? It screams desperation to me they have finally realised that the majority of Invernessians have turned their backs on their highland football experiment they created. ICT was created for the incomer to Inverness while hoping the new generations would also jump aboard in time. Since relegation from the top flight it looks like both are also dwindling away. A massive own goal by the marketing department and shame on them. Dougal

  12. Now now Huisdean we both know where your loyalties lie , love how guys like you switch allegiances depending on what way the wind blows. I’d hazard a guess you’ve seen far more games at Pittodrie than you ever have at the dump but I’m sure you will correct me if I’m wrong By no means I’m singling you out there are many more on this site that have big teams too I can name a fair number if asked Come on ye reds lol Dougal
