  1. I think Harper has progressed well, but in midfield in my opinion. I don't think he is a left back, never have. He always seems reluctant press on when he has the ball, he asks for the ball and his first thought is to pass it back, he very rarely turns and runs down the wing. Maybe this is what he has been told to do, as Dodds seems happy for him to do this. We have been blessed in the left back position in recent seasons, with both Shinnie and Tremarco excelling in that berth, and I think Deas is a better left back, but we lose his power at centre back. I do believe that Harper's future lies in the midfield, where he is more proactive and carries a goal threat, but it's great to see former youth team players break through, and hopefully more will follow next season.
  2. For the young player, Shaw has obviously had a great 2nd half of the season with goals and assists. But Cameron Harper has had a good season too, establishing himself as a first team regular, with 40 starts - only Carson has more. He’s looked increasingly assured at left back as well as being surprisingly useful when played further up the park, chipping in with some very important and well struck goals. I know I’m not the only one who had doubts as to whether he’d make it at this level but he’s progressed really well.
  3. ICT 2 Dryburgh 1 with goals from Katie Cleland and Julia Scott.
  4. Bit disappointed they never included Billy's 2nd goal at Hampden.
  5. Maybe but doesn't make it feel any better
  6. There will be another 9 Scottish teams feeling play off Heartbreak yet, before the happy winners are known. None of them will have a ‘let’s have a party anyway’ bonus game Scottish Cup Final to look forward to against a team we’ve beaten how many times in cups!!
  7. Playing a full set of play-off games would completely knacker us. Also we have players who will benefit from a couple of weeks without high pressure games to play. We have a lot of weary and jaded legs out there. Personally, I don't think it matters a jot one way or the other. Celtic should absolutely pump us with or without a lay off. I can hold on to the merest slither of hope that a miracle might happen. However, I don't believe in miracles. Fingers crossed though and four leafed clovers all round my little Leprechaun friend said.
  8. Lowest league placing since 2002. We've never finished lower than 6th in this tier and this season was the weakest we've ever seen it. Massive opportunity squandered. Get rid.
  9. Six league wins at home all season all season (nine way). That's largely where we lost it. Our home form has been really poor for the last few seasons. Frustrating as despite the really poor standard of all teams, we were still only a handful of points away from top. Agree that big changes are needed : we trip ourselves up far too often.
