Charlie and Robbo are not being considered for the post according to CEO. I think as fans we are entitled to ask questions of how we got here tbh

Criticism of those who have been failing to perform their roles adequately is perfectly justified.

It's very interesting to read what the CEO said to the Courier. There was no suggestion that Robbo and Charlie are not interested in the post on a permanent basis, it was simply that they wouldn't be considered. Gardiner is quoted as saying "They are 100 per cent interim. They both have very important jobs, so they know that's what they are going to do." It would appear, therefore, that even if one of them wanted the job and was a better candidate than any outsider applying, they would not be considered because they are currently doing a job at the club which is, apparently, more important than being 1st team coach! That really is the most crass statement I've heard for a long time.

Surely we can't afford to lose the Business guru that is a legend in his own bathroom mirror aka Scot Gardiner. It was only this month he was visiting the Highland Council to share his management & leadership wisdom. Key revelations included: "Integrity is the golden thread in business" ( presumably as is incorporating separate limited companies for high risk ventures) "Don't work in silos" (unless you're a pig farmer) & "take a helicopter view" ( we did suspect he was fond of a helicopter back in the day) "Listen to others & achieve goals together" ( Blazers securing the best seats in the house at a Cup Final via on field effort is a practical example ) Perhaps we won't truly understand what he brought to the party till he be gone .. ( mainly soundbites I suspect )

In my mind club need to learn to listen again. Communication is a 2 way conversation. Been lacking for a long time now

Mine has to be 1/ Scot Gardiner I believe in all honesty he has NOT delivered anything that he said he was out to achieve for ICT and has just made our football club 10x worse through a lot of bad decisions . Bad egg on the board for me and a must to go . 2/ John Robertson I think he has had his day and couldn’t cope with it last time . Would truly be a mega cheap option but such a backward step and will not get fans returning . Average coach so how does he suddenly think he is a messiah now. Been more interested in his book , media roles and really anywhere but near his employers on match day . ICT is a football club that plays most games on a Saturday so why wouldn’t his job entail a Saturday at the game ?

Really enjoyed listening to the Wyness Shuffle podcast, well done to the guys. Some interesting names mentioned. Let's hope whoever is appointed on permanent basis can inject some passion and excitement back into the team. Bigger fundamental issues at the club still need to be addressed clearly - will be interesting to see what plan of action is proposed following Supporters Trust meeting on Saturday.

Robbo will be the next to go. I can see him trying to redeem himself by stating that he is doing it for the club and not becos he has a number of things to fall in to. The radio fiasco and behind the back stabbing of Dodds puts him in my first place. I really am not sure who we will dispose of Gardiner. He appears to be more narcisstic than Butcher. He may be here for some time.

Looking through this evening if Charlie and Robbo get us the low end of Robbos win rate at this level that would be 14 wins this season. That would keep us safe. That is our priority not some vitriolic attack on every employee of the club. The players are good enough. Let the players now prove it with support from Robbo and Charlie.

I can't speak directly for Kellacher, but I doubt so many successive managers would have held on to him if they didn't value his input and contribution. You don't coach at a club for 17 years (and, FYI, that HAS included promotions and cup wins) if you're not good at your job

Kel being in the back room staff hasn’t got us to a top league position so how much value is the guy adding really? Say £40k/year since 2018 = £200k…if Marius Niculae was £3.8k/wk back in the day that would buy us the equivalent of a Romanian International for a year in very very rough terms…have we had that much value from Kel since 2018? The answer is no. All the cash has to be focussed on people that play on the park wherever possible imo, you can’t train turds when they are just turds so why employ so many turd recruiters and turd trainers

Pretty well sums up how I feel too. Maybe an element of rose-tinted specs like Scotty but in all my years on the terracings I never enjoyed anything more than watching Pele’s teams win or lose whatever league we were in. Despite the euphoria of Helicopter Saturday when we beat St Johnstone I felt that it was never likely to be the same again, and I had that same feeling again in 2015 after the cup final win. Sadly my fears seem to have been well founded and my longing for a return of those magical Pele years now seems like a forlorn hope with the hierarchy we currently have.

The reason Pele is remembered so fondly, for me, is that he truly believed that his team could beat anyone, and he had the players believing it as well. That meant that win, lose or draw, the football was always exciting to watch. Unfortunately that became harder for any manager to maintain as we progressed through the leagues and the cost of failure brought with it a fear of losing. Focus then shifts to being defensive and the priority being to avoid relegation. It also becomes more expensive to just stand still as a team/club and whilst we've been blessed (for the most part) with people willing to throw money into the club, the returns diminish. I have no issue with us being a Championship level club, or even a league 1 or 2 club, but it scunners me that we no longer have that sense of community and the entertainment has totally gone from the football.

May be some rose-tinted glasses on my part, but I always thought the Pele era saw us play great attacking football utilising the full width and camber of our pitch, where we were just as liable to win 5-1 (quite a few of those scorelines back then) or lose 1-5. It was entertainment nonetheless and I seem to remember we also went some insane length of time without a 0-0 result. You always knew there would be goals, just not sure at which end or in what quantity! Ayr Utd in particular seemed to generate crazy scorelines. (even before TB's sermon in the stands). Nowadays, if it hits 1-0 (or 0-1) in favour of the opposition then you really wonder if we have the quality or tactical knowledge to get back into the game. Too often, the answer to that is no.

Definitely Scott Gardiner closely followed by John Robertson and lastly Scott Kellacher we simply don't have the finances for the later.

Let's hope they look at that account more than the slo@ictfc one or we will be without a manager for the rest of the season.

Barry Robson? We’d have to wait a few weeks until he becomes available.

The decision made regarding Dodds is undoubtedly correct. He had lost the fans and we are on our third atrocious run of his tenure. I believe we had two seasons when we would have been promoted had we not had mid season collapses. The start this year made things untenable, as highlighted repeatedly here. We also played predictably in many games and teams knew how to play against us. However, we should also recognise that he got us to the play off final, and therefore closer to promotion than anyone else has managed since our relegation, and, with a bit of help from Queens Park, to the Scottish Cup Final. As a result we had great away days with a large support at Perth and Hampden twice, whilst enjoying beating Livingston and Kilmarnock in the cup run. I stress I agree with the decision but we should remember the good days as well as the bad. Now we need to turn things round, starting on Saturday.
