At least we can interview Welsh on the podcast now....it should be a mission to track down every squad escapee if they don't let us talk to the current squad..2 points

Sean Welsh has been a great asset and player for this team. However he is 34 in 2 months time and has really struggled with injuries. I think the time has come to find his replacement sadly. We need to put faith in Duncan to find us a player of decent quality to replace him with. I wish Sean well if he does go and I thank him for the hard work he has put in over the seasons.2 points

Not too fussed on Welsh leaving think him and Gilmour are off a similar mould and quite happy with our other midfield options in Anderson and hopefully we see more of Keith bray second half of the season1 point

Good player on his day but too unreliable in terms of fitness. Never seem to get a good run of games form him. 120 appearances in almost 6 years back that up. Clearly shows Dunc is trying to tidy up whats in house - removing high earners perhaps who arent giving value or those not at the level required. Doran next along with Lodivica, Samuels, Ram1 point

Another central defender on loan is strange unless we are shipping at least one out as, in my opinion, we already have sufficient cover in that area. Hopefully we are not going to lose Boyes or Ujdur? Creative midfielders and proven goalscorers please Dunc!1 point

As hinted above , maybe one of our existing defenders is leaving. It's true we have conceded fewer goals than many teams, but the ones we do lose are so soft... Hopefully DF has some forwards coming in though. Obviously required.1 point

This got a mention during the sports news on Reporting Scotland just now. Hes only played one EFL Trophy match for Wigan this season so not sure how big an impact he will make. Hopefully his father keeps name dropping us to raise our profile.1 point

There’s only one club who would get the red carpet treatment in Inverness and they also wear predominantly blue coincidently. This allegiance we have with Sevco is not healthy in my opinion. Do we really want to be known as the orcs from the north? Dougal1 point

I hope they’ve learned from the experience. All the women will be used to seeing the weekly coverage on BBC and would be aware of the standard of the Prem clubs, especially the big 3. I thought maybe 12-0 when I saw the draw but scores like this happen in the prem as well.1 point

One can only hope, as relegation might end up sinking us completely, and we'll be lounging on the hill in Avoch watching Inverness Caledonian Thistle AFC in the Snecky District League... ...but lets hope that doesn't end up happening...1 point

I'm no SG or RM fan (far from it and would happily see them put under heavy pressure and challenging questioning), however the difficulty given the lack of communication and transparency is that we don't know what the expectations or objectives are within the club as a whole or for individuals. Therefore while we all look in thinking its a 'sh1t show' there may be a case that SG is meeting the boards expectations and they are happy with his performance and contributions with the issues around fan engagement & communication not actually being considered important to anyone.1 point

I think he's much like the signings we made in the summer of 2017 (Ellsdon, Zschuschan et al), just signed to fill a spot in the squad. Our recruitment this summer was rushed, probably because our budgets weren't set until very late and there was uncertainty around the manager. It's obvious that if we hadn't made the cup final then Dodds wouldn't have been given a new deal and even though he was he was on a shoogly peg. The recruitment in the last few years has been really poor, espeically permanent signings. Since 2021 here are all the players we've signed permanently: Anthony MacDonald, Michael Gardyne, Tom Walsh, Manny Duku, Billy Mckay, Kirk Broadfoot, Austin Samuels, Max Ram, Steven Boyd, Nathan Shaw, George Oakley, Zak Delaney, Ryan Barrett, Jake Davidson, Charlie Gilmour, Adam Brooks, Luis Longstaff, David Wotherspoon, Harry Lodovica, Cillian Sheridan. Of those how many have been our best players? How many have even been regular starters? Billy Mckay and Nathan Shaw are probably the only two who fit both criteria. Wotherspoon as well but he's on a very short term deal and will be away soon. I think Gilmour looks pretty good but none of the others we've signed who are still at the club look like the sort of guys who are first on the team sheet. We have had some success in the loan market - Max Anderson and Morgan Boyes seem like good additions this year and Jay Henderson, Daniel Mckay, Logan Chalmers and Sam pearson were all decent. Overall we need a complete reset in how we bring in players.1 point

Sherif is evidently marked as one for the future. He has been at Everton since he was 13, has been playing games for the Under 21's and has signed a 3 year professional contract. Butterfield is an ex-Scottish youth international who has been on the edge of first team promotion. Another on a professional contract. Both would enhance ICT and lets hope that Dunc is also an attraction. I can see why they would be the main choices and also available to the end of the season.1 point

Queens Park closing in on Sean Welsh, according to the Daily Record. Big Dunc allowing him to leave.0 points

No one has any idea what type of contract he is on except the Chairman and the board so we will never know! He will be there as long as the Chairman wants him or there is a revolt in the boardroom which is highly unlikely0 points
