I'd still be curious to know if we suffer more and/or worse injuries than other teams. Seems to be an injury crisis every season - even when we didn't have a thin and inexperienced squad.2 points

Mckays hold up play is still exceptional. It’s just unfortunate there’s no one else to play alongside him to feed on that.2 points

An inexperienced 18 year old has come in and been our top scorer in the few games he's played. This is one of the (if not the main) reasons we've clawed back the 15 point deduction. Don't worry, I havent forgotten and do appreciate what's happened since October.2 points

We need all the experience we have on the pitch right now. Mckay may not be scoring but he's been a mainstay in the team that has dug us out of a 15pt hole. I honestly think some of the fans forget and don't appreciate where we've had to come back from since October.2 points

We need to remember that Billy is due a goal. Born goal scorers like him cant go on forever without scoring and now could not be better time.1 point

I thought Musa made the best choice he could given his positioning when the cross was made for the equaliser. The issue is that Nolan loses his man out wide and allows that to happen. From the highlights it seems that we were weak across the entire team when it came to preventing balls into our box and that's what cost us. We're not normally as stand offish. What I did like was that we seemed more willing to take chances from slightly further out and some of them came very close Hard to see from the camera angle but the offside for our disallowed goal looked very tight. I don't expect referees to be perfect so accept it's one of them that can go either way. Kell has to now make best use of the squad available and play to it's strengths for the remainder of the season. I couldn't hazard a guess as to what that is but he's lead us to this point and I trust he and the players will get us over the line. Role on Saturday.1 point

Not good news but we will just have to get on with it with the remaining players we have and hopefully avoid the playoffs1 point

Maybe a change of tactics is needed. For some time now since Administration began the philosophy was we must now start winning games. Admittedly the squad numbers have been depleted recently by injuries and a key player suspension but the need now is not to lose games. In days gone by eking out an extra point or two could have saved us - relegation both from the SPFL and Championship!! Starting this Saturday it needs a more cautious approach with regard to defence not that this means 11 behind the ball. However, charging off at speed in the first 25 minutes will not succeed. We played really well against Cove in the Scottish Cup so need to try and repeat the desire to stop losing.1 point

10 months of conditioning under the previous manager doesn't easily disappear.1 point

Pregnant footballer Jack Hannah wheels away in delight after scoring his first goal for Queen of the South. Jack, who identifies as a footballer, scored the equaliser five minutes after Alfie Stewart had opened the scoring for the visitors. Queens eventually routed the Caley Jags 4-1 with further goals from Jordan Allan and a brace from Admin Books. He really has it in for us and was a pain in the rain.1 point

That’s a huge blow. We’ve seen what recent results have been without him, and it leaves us dependent on the most ineffective striker in the Scottish leagues.0 points

It’s now been confirmed that Bavidge will miss the remaining games of the season. Obviously a big blow but now for everyone else to step up take our chances and become hard to beat.0 points

Let's hope it was just "one of those days". That was my first away game for quite a while and it was so disappointing to see such a poor performance from the boys. Despite disappointing results in the last 2 home games, they played much better in those than in this dismal defeat. As Scott says, we weren't too bad to start out with and we got into a lead with a smartly worked goal from a quick free kick. Unfortunately, we conceded a soft goal soon after and from then on Queens seemed to be fired up and our heads went down. With Savage missing from the back line and Nolan taking a knock and having to be replaced early in the 2nd half, we needed the midfield and front players to step up and keep the ball at the other end. Instead it was pretty pedestrian stuff with nothing like enough movement or driving forward. Queens showed them often enough how to do it and were quicker and more positive than us all over the park. We can maybe moan about the disallowed goal and the failure of the ref to award a stonewall penalty, but the fact is that for the last 60 minutes of the match we were totally outplayed. I looked over to the technical area and I had this image of Big Dunc standing there in his pullover in the driving rain, hands by his side and making occasional gestures to a player to pass the ball backwards or not to encroach beyond the half way line. Yes, it really was that bad!0 points

Play Bray or Stewart up front. Drop Mckay to the bench, or move him into midfield if he insists on playing. There is zero point in continuing to play him as a striker, he offers no threat and all of our opponents know it!-1 points
