  1. Draper and meekings both injured . Draper unlikely to be back before 2 nd . Horner is a Hughes favourite having signed him as a kid . mutombo is also a waste of space shilva is a better footballer but where is the start of season hope Roberts? Raven might not have won us the game today but chances are we would not have lost 2 goals through that side. Hayes will make a complete **** of Horner next week bring back Dave the rave .

  2. We were honking. Our passing was horrendous in the first half, too many misplaced passes and not enough creativity. Horner got himself off the hook by bundling home the equalizer. Saved our blushes I suppose. Great opportunity to kick on into the top six, but we fluffed our lines.

  3. Well, what a surprise for us to score an injury time goal to snatch a point! However, I this surely should have been a 'bread and butter' win for us against the bottom of the league team. Can't imagine too many of us will be happy with just a point.

  4. Everyone in the stadium could see that we were being completely rogered down the left side during the first half. Yes Horner was very poor but surely Hughes would sort out some kind of technical help for him if he was determined that he should stay on. On today's showing Raven is a much better defender. The football we are playing is boring boring boring, lots of possession but no penetration, come on Yogi sort it out.

  5. Disappointed with the team performance today, thought Horner had a shocker of a game and should have been hooked at half time, Mutombo did nothing to help the team when he came on and what's the point of bringing on Sho-Silva with 2 minutes to full time? After all that I was happy with a point at the end although it was not enough to redeem Horner for me, I hope Raven starts next week! Seen Meekings, Roberts, Brill and Horner in Millburn Takeaway tonight but kept quite as they are all much bigger than me

  6. Not Horner's finest performance today but in fairness to the lad he kept plugging away and looking for the ball even with the crowd on his back. I still think he's a valuable squad / utility player but probably not our best right back. We're going through a wobbly spell at the moment. Scraping a jammy draw at home against a team 8 points adrift at the bottom of the table is not acceptable. It's relegation form. We need our experienced heads to steady the ship. Dave the Rave should start next week. Yogi's tactics are becoming too obvious. Every team in the league is pressing high against us and winning turnovers of possession in dangerous areas yet we're still getting into trouble with hospital passes along the backline every single week. I get the impression the players are even doing exactly the same drills in training day in day out. Our play is so stale. You can see the lads virtually on autopilot at times. Making the same passes, the same runs and sadly the same mistakes! The boos ringing out at half time had nothing to do with the work rate or attitude of the players and everything to do with the tactics. Nothing ever changes. We even make the same substitutions at the same times every week. Mutombo on for the last 15 minutes when the game is stretched, even though he has no pace, no assists and no goals. As it happens he had a pretty good game today. But we really need to mix things up a bit and give some of the other lads on the bench a chance. A few weeks back the lads came out rallying around Lopez after the whole suspension issue. You'd think the guy would be desperate to get out there and redeem himself for his teammates. He's been sitting on the bench for weeks, patiently waiting for a chance to get out there and prove a point. Yet Yogi won't even give the guy a 5 minute run-out. What's going on? I could understand not wanting to interfere with the team during a winning run, but at this moment in time our form is dreadful.

  7. Hughes is a great coach but not a team builder .Need someone to find the players then let Yogi knock them into shape

  9. Well that's a disturbing combination of results. I know we're only a couple of points from top six but at the same time we're only a couple ahead of the relegation playoff spot. We cannot get complacent about that- fingers need extracted pronto.

  10. Charles, I've given up on trying to make sensible comment because you totally spoil the debate with your constant insults. You use every opportunity in every thread you can to insult the SNP. No other person, not even DD, comes out with the same hateful vitriol that you write. No other person insults any other political party in the same way you do the SNP. Ok you dont like the SNP. Thats your choice but please stop destroying good conversation and debate with your bile.

  12. Aye but don't you know that the selection of sweets and drinks at the stadium isn't very good and no-one in Inverness is smart enough to commit a terror attack....?

  13. Putting the outlandish conspiracies aside, whether the terrorist threat is overstated or not is neither here nor there. We all know how serious threats and unattended bags are taken. Imagine if the match had been suspended or abandoned. Can you imagine what that would be like? People would be going mental at the stupidity of some people of leaving their bags lying about. Imagine the inconvenience of people travelling and for nothing, as well the possibility of losing money from the TV coverage. The idea as well that this is justified in post #2 because the selection of sweets etc. at the Caley Stadium isn't very good is simply laughable, as is the idea that they could've checked the bags or even asked nicely what was in them! Bombs aren't diffused by polite requests!

  15. Positivity??? Hang on a minute, this is a thread about the SNP's performance in the exercising of devolved powers...... and you're looking for positivity??!!!!

  16. That is shocking aren't stewards at the gate checking the bags before people head through the gate. Why not just get them to double check their is nothing in it. I know it was terrible what happened in Paris but come people in Inverness are not that clever no offence anyone. Disgraceful surely the stewards at the gate know the regulars that take in a bag for kids sweets and juice because people are not willing to pay for a terrible pie or very expensive amounts of money for a juice and sweets they have at ICTFC are not the best selection. sorry to hear your bag was taken away without you knowing they could of a least waited until you got back to your seat and asked you nicely rather than taking it away without you knowing!! . But im glad you got it back

  17. No Charles this thread was set upby you so you can exercise your 'little man syndrome' behind a computer screen and constantly nitpick and nat bash. Nothing in your words displays any positivety. You dont provide an opposition arguement. All you do is rant for the sake of it.

  18. What are you all wittering about, the only terrorism being perpetrated is by the security services. There is no war on terror, but there is a war of terror being perpetrated against the middle eastern nations and their poor civilians. Anyone see the "alleged" shooting of the policeman in the Charlie Hebdo attack which was unsurprisingly quickly taken down. In frame 1 there is a cue mark in the middle of the road where the car stops, in the final frame there is a cue mark opposite the front passengers wheel which was not in the first frame, ergo, the scene was shot in at least two takes ie it's a fake. I could go on about so many ridiculous issues surrounding this piece of theater. While I'm about it I would like to point out that President Assad is the democratically elected leader of Syria with 83% of the vote, you wont hear that on the BBC. Enjoy the games at TC stadium without this fearmongering.

    • Montrose 0-0 Inverness CT - Play Off 1st Leg
      FULL TIME: 0-0

All to play for on Saturday, but don't hold your breath...

However, if we continue like this, it will be our final game this season.

Best performer for us was Samson Lawal, the only bright spark on the field.

Alloa 2-2 Hamilton was the other semi-final score tonight. On this evidence, I doubt either side will be quaking in their boots.

    • Inverness CT 3-1 Morton - Report
It was a lovely evening for a game of football, what could possibly go wrong? Well, what did go wrong was Queen's Park beat an understrength Airdrie 2-0 at Hampden, therefore despite beating Morton 3-1, Inverness head for the play-offs. Morgan Boyes opened the scoring with a thumping volley after half an hour. Kirk Broadfoot benefited from slack defending to level before the break then proceeded to earn the wrath of the home support with an embarrassing celebration in front of the North Stand. Cammy Harper relieved Billy Mckay of penalty kick duties and duly slotted home from the spot ten minutes after the break. The scoring was completed just after the hour when Sean McAllister drilled home into the bottom corner. Robbie Muirhead had been sent off for simulation then taking a wee fit to himself and was promptly sent off after 58 minutes just after Harper had knocked in his penalty kick, probably aggrieved that he never earned a spot kick for his dramatic dive.

    • Inverness CT -V- Morton - Preview
Well, where do you start. It was clear from the begining of the season that something was wrong. Poor signings, dismal performances in the League Cup followed by an abysmal start to the League campaign saw Billy Dodds removed from his position after winning one point in the first six Championship fixtures and replaced by a man with no track record as a manager. A sort of publicity stunt if you like. After the initial new manager bounce wore off, we found ourselves little better off with Big Dunc than we were with wee Billy. We did claw ourselves up to the coat tails of others but the most damning part of our season has been our inability to score goals, especially at home. Only already relegated Arbroath are worse than us. Our team is now full of mercenaries, loan players with no affiliation to our Highland pedigree and many fans have tagged us as being the worst squad ever in our short history. Where are the Golabeck's, Tokeley's, Wilson's..... Much of this can be attributed to our lack of financial nous in the boardroom, failed ventures and now the begging bowls are being put in place to save our club. Having drawn at Dunfermline last week thanks to Aribim Pepple's first goal for the club combined with Billy Mckay's penalty miss, it's now out of our own hands. LAST SIX: D L  W W L  D

    • Dunfermline 1-1 Inverness CT - Report
Out of our hands now: It ended in disappointment for the 319 visiting fans with news that Queens Park had hammered Arbroath 0-5. To rub salt into the wounds, Sheridan and Welsh were amongst the scorers. It's out of our hands now, but it's a must win next Friday and hope Queens Park falter.  Inverness play Morton and Queens play Airdrie. A draw might be enough, but it's a long shot.

I'm not convinced that Billy Mckay was the right man to be taking that penalty, his second failure from the spot in successive games against the Pars.

    • Dunfermline Ath -V- Inverness CT - Preview
Aaron Doran looks likely to have pulled on the Caley Jags strip for the last time after limping off against Raith Rovers last Friday. Sean McAllister returning was a bonus though but the mystery deepens as to why Roddy MacGregor, Austin Samuels and Nikola Ujdur are not featuring either on the injury list or the team list. Baffling to be honest as Roddy has the midfield attributes required, Austin has the speed and potential and Nikola in my opinion, if fit, would be my first choice on the team sheet. Are these guys on the way out? Add to that seven or eight loan players, then next season will see a massive restructure and rebuild at the Caledonian Stadium. I imagine the board members are squirming in their seats like Angela van den Bogerd at a Post Office inquiry.
