  1. Park the bus but issue Mulraney, Cole and Mckay a "Park and ride" ticket.

  2. I didn't realise that our Partick match isn't until a week on Saturday due to the Scottish cup. So we may as well aim for the same performance levels as last Friday and hope that Celtics quest for the treble is a distraction.

  3. Cole wasted possession on a number of occasions. He has had better performances no question ... but I'm still very happy.

  5. Billy Mckay - not just for the reasons well set out above, but also because he makes it very plain what he thinks of the service he is getting - or not getting, and sets the bar for pressing and trying to win lost causes. It has to be said, whoever at the club got him back when they did deserves a massive pat on the back.

  6. couldn't believe what I saw at the penalty last night. no one was willing to step up and take it. billy said no, saw tansy shake his head when asked then someone asked vigurs and he took the ball. should be nominated before the game, and that player gets hold of the ball asap. the rangers goalkeeper must have been filled with confidence seeing no one wanted to take the kick. funny how different people see a game. I wonder if those on here saying cole was a changed player were at the game or watching on tv. he had half a doz crosses in second half all trundled along the ground. his cross for the winning goal was one of his worst but was helped on to billy by Wilson. offered nothing in defence. quite a few in the north stand shouting for him to be hooked early second half. but everyone has an opinion I suppose

  8. Difficult to call a team until we know who is available. I would not be risking anyone (especially Tremarco) if there are knocks. Cellic is a bonus game. There at three important games coming up and we do not want to risk anyone on Wednesday night.

  9. What's changed? Well I can report that every win this season has been while I have been overseas. The only sensible course of action is to send me overseas for every game for the rest of the season ;-)

  10. Missed one on Friday night, David Davis for Birmingham, in a 2-1 win at Wolves.

  11. Look pretty solid again last night same as the Hearts the week before. Have to admit I was maybe wrong about Mulraney as the last 2 games he has worked really hard. Hopefully he will continue to improve as with his pace he brings a new dynamic to the team. Excellent flag by the way , good to see as we don't see many down at the Stadium any more they seemed to have all but disappeared. Not cheap I bet , and good to see the official club crest being used.

  13. Three points last night have now been reinforced by three of the other five results going ICT's way... and the three most important ones in that they saw the rest of the bottom four lose.

  14. not expecting any of the above from cole, he is too light weight for that, and block-buster tackling he is a decent player going forward but when you get into a position to cross the ball, at this level, you have got to do better than trundle it along the ground.

  15. A UK wide referendum has the same franchise as a General Election, Scotty....so ex-pats who were registered to vote in UK within the previous 15 years, Irish and Commonwealth citizens living in UK can vote, but not EU citizens resident in the UK, Lords, or prisoners. For Brexit, Gibraltar was added for the referendum because it was going to be directly affected. The franchise for the Independence Referendum was the same as for a Scottish election.....a current voter registration at a Scottish address.....Westminster didn't extend the ex-pat rule to Wales, NI or Scotland elections. I'm pleased about that, because I don't see why anyone who has moved away permanently enough to have given up his home in Scotland (or anywhere else in the UK, for that matter) should have the right to continue to influence the make-up of any UK Government and not suffer ALL the consequences of the choice they made. It's bad enough that people living elsewhere, with a second home in Scotland, can register to vote...and influence the results of elections which will only affect them from time to time. It is an offence to vote twice in the same type of election, but a Scottish Election is not a General Election. And aren't you lucky...because the Government is thinking about letting ex-pats vote in UK elections for life....which is flaming ridiculous!

  17. I'm not a big fan of the guy who wins the penalty taking it....unless he is the designated guy. BK has missed a few in the past, I wonder if Draper was the DP at tyhe start of the match. Vigurs lost out on the ploy of sending the goalie the wrong way. Whilst perhaps not as good a game for Cole as the one aginst Hearts, he was still mentioned by the commentators last night for having a positive contribution, particularly after Mulraney went off. He has pretty good close ball control and composure, and was a good outlet. I thought he did help out the defence sufficiently. I'm not having a pop at you, but some supporters are only satisfied if a player rounds around frantically for 90mins putting in block-buster tackles all night long.

    • Inverness CT (1-2) Hamilton - Play off Final 2nd Leg - Preview
The hurt, the pain, the reluctance and pig-headedness to listen to the fans asking what is going on, the lack of communication, the lack of ambition, the stench of mismanagement, the concert company, the battery farm, the demise since winning the Scottish Cup in 2015, the lack of passion, the lack of commitment, the dwindling fanbase, the lack of leadership. It has left the fans comfortably numb

    • Hamilton -V- Inverness CT - Play off Final 1st Leg - Preview
However all is not well and we just kept our heads above water thanks to Arbroath being rubbish. Onto the play offs and an insipid performance at Links Park left us all wondering if our time has come to drop into oblivion. Our performance certainly would not look out of place in the lower leagues. We clung on for a 0-0 draw away from home and scraped a 1-0 win at Inverness with Billy Mckay saving our blushes. Everything about the club has negative undertones at the moment.

    • Inverness CT 1-0 Montrose Play-Off Second Leg (0-0)
Little Consolation: Inverness will face Hamilton Accies in the Play-Off final after nervously scraping past part-time Montrose who were eventually reduced to ten men when Blair Lyons was sent off after an off the ball incident in the 84th minute involving Morgan Boyes. Inverness had dominated throughout, but failed to capitalise on their possession, and as per the entire season failed to create much of note. The first half was livlier than the first leg, but the same problems showed up our lack of quality. We started with no wingers and Billy Mckay as usual in a withdrawn role. It's not worked all season, so why should it suddenly work now. A woeful first half ended goalless and it was on the hour and out of the blue when Billy Mckay prodded in from three yards to score the only goal of the game following a corner

    • Inverness CT -V- Montrose - Second Leg (0-0)
As much as we have criticised the Caley Jags performance on Tuesday night, let's not lose sight of the fact that Montrose are a decent League 1 side with a good blend of experience and talented prospects. For our part, let's keep them as a good League 1 side and that means no room for faffing about. Time has run out now, there's no hiding places and no room for shirkers. Ditch the sideways passing or put goal posts in front of the Main Stand and tuck shops.

    • Montrose 0-0 Inverness CT - Play Off 1st Leg
      FULL TIME: 0-0

All to play for on Saturday, but don't hold your breath...

However, if we continue like this, it will be our final game this season.

Best performer for us was Samson Lawal, the only bright spark on the field.

Alloa 2-2 Hamilton was the other semi-final score tonight. On this evidence, I doubt either side will be quaking in their boots.
