  1. What a chap El Tel is. He comes across as honest, realistic, self-critical, generous with his thanks. Most of al, he is grateful, of the sucess that he has had here, and being given the chance. He knows he is onto a good one here, and is level headed enough to know that his contribution was made possible by the work of others. He is not, touch wood, about to run of at the first sniff of a big name. No false promises as well, I like that. I'd buy him a glass of red. One of the big ones too.
  2. Great News, If Richie Foran signs up too, that will be fab.
  3. Oh, dear. That sounds like sales talk. He should be saying works well as part of the team, solid penalty takers etc.
  4. Great! What does he say? "Sacked again, is it?"
  5. On the BBC website Terry proclaims the promotion but adds... "It's a complete contrast to this time last year when we lost a lot of people at the club through cutbacks. This championship is for them as well." Ain't that the mark of a gentleman? Well done to all, but especially Terry and Mo.
  6. HAHA :D its probably true Happy birthday Adam Have a caramel syrup in that Latte, mate. You deserve it.
  7. What is he reading? Is that "Against all Odds?"
  8. With County losing last night it suggests that, while we keep our bottle so far, this league may be ours by quite a way. Dundee, without Griffiths for the rest of the season, might struggle to score in their remaining 3 games. They could stay at 58 points whilst we max out at 73. 15 points difference. QOS and County might pick up the tab however.
  9. That's me too. I wish them well, but will not be unduly bothered either way.
  10. I always take my season ticket when going to a home match.
  11. That was just the practice, Manny
  12. I doubt if the people who lost their jobs would agree. Yep, that crossed my mind yesterday, Chaz. I hope the club will reinstate them.
  13. Don't know if it partly because of your photo, but you are one of my fave posters, sir.
  14. Very good question, Kyle. And the answer is...no idea. You take what is on your plate as a footie fan. But for those that drifted off after relegation, they certainly wont feel the same joy as those who have stuck with it this season. Nonetheless, welcome back to them all.
  15. I think he contributed a lot to the game and is a good challenger for Cox's place. Keep him.
  16. I'll have a small slice, I was never a Butcher booboy, but never ever thought that it would happen. The lack of spending at New Year did little to restore that faith. I did not believe until 4.45 yesterday.
  17. I would have liked Aberdeen to go down, just for a change, but asthat won't happen. Probably Killie, as it is their turn.
  18. Movin on up - cos that is what we are doing! Stand up for the champions - cos it is a catchy sing along, and a change from that Queen dirge Red red wine - for Terry Lets get the party started - Pink Great looking forward to doing that which we are not allowed to post on the board about.
  19. Never heard that before. Veh good.
  20. Just for the record, I think the day we won 3-2 in the league after being 2-0 down at HT was the best. But there are just so many to choose from.
  21. That is another reason why I hope that County get promoted next year. Can you imagine the Central Belt whining!
  22. My brother, who is a taxi driver, picked up his Mam from the airport tonight. Adam is lying in bed crying and listening to Smiths records and his heading back to The Emerald Isle by the first possible flight. He is taking up hurling.
  23. not quite. If Dundee lose (or draw) on Saturday, their possible maximum points goes down from 69 to 66 (or 67 if they draw). We are currently on 64 so if we lost too then we could still be caught by both County and Dundee. The perfect scenario for us on Saturday is for us to win against the Pars (no easy task) and to hope that Dundee lose or draw against Morton. If that happens we can only be equalled on points and no-one will catch us on GD. You're right Scotty. My calculator, or brain must need new batteries. Still a few ifs and buts then... It would be great to go into next season carrying an unbeaten run.
  24. If Dundee lose on Saturday, the only way we would lose the league, would be on goal difference.
