  1. IHE he was just trying to get the sun to reflect of yer heid into the eyes of the ref, This lad has class and talent and has a bright future..cameraman for ICT, then videos then movies--the sky's the limit. Nice speaking voice too.
  2. Don't you just get the impression that them thar folks are thunking: Gosh, darn it, I soooo wish that this darned lower league team would just go away... haughty sniff. Well, chums, this is our season and we are going to be the championeeeees.
  3. C R A P? C Ronaldo At Parkhead?
  4. ALL YOU NEED NOW IS A BUS-BOY, LAURANESS. Completes the package, like. ?
  5. Yep. How the mighty have fallen. But--there's many a slip twixt cup and lip....
  6. Methinks that should be a cracker of a game. It would be a shame for the fans to miss it. But ....playing it on a Sunday? Go Figure! Electronics have taken over the corporate minds and control of the game now.
  7. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24056581 Interesting approach to increasing the future fan base.
  8. ....released by St Johnstone. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the current rumor that T Butcher Esq is regretful that he cannot sign Iker Casillas , Spain's first line world-cup goalie, who apparently is unhappy at Real Madrid because the new(er) manager has not selected him as #1, has no truth to it. Evidently selling the whole ICT team and the under 20's team as well would not be sufficient to raise enough money to complete a deal. And apparently the Board cried out in unison. "Pass the smelling salts." and the band played " Believe It If You Like."
  9. Thanks! Can't say I recognize it. Fairfield Road seems to be much narrower on one side than I remember. I/m assuming that the view of Dochfour Drive is South or South West?
  10. Well, you didn't do too badly yourself Charlie. A good, enthusiastic report my man.
  11. Years and years ago I took a young woman to a Whitecaps game just before they won the North American Soccer League. At half time I turned to her and said---what do you think about the game. Like it? "I love thir legs." she responded whilst the guys surrounding us all burst into laughter. So I suggest Itchy gets his kilt on , gets the sailor-boys off of HMS Sneck and onto the park at half time and does a Legs Up Mother Brown routine for all the nice young lady's who want a bit of thrill a minute game. then maybe they will become rabid footie fans and paying customers.? Eh?
  12. North of Inverness 2--now you're talking. Atta Boy!
  13. I want the Scottish cup. We have come so close a few times and I want that towsy, testing, tickle my tonsils win at Hampden before I end my days on this mortal coil. Then I can call it Humpthem Park.
  14. But good to have you on board NOI2; Keep reviewing everything and keep posting your opinion. Research, research, ==or--- retire like me and have time on your hands to scan the Internet for everything and anything.
  15. Old Caley Girl But that's negative thought. I doubt your hypothesis. All fans, like all other types of customers, probably took advantage of special deals when they were younger and it is a fact of life nowadays.--specials, sales etc. All designed to draw in more clients. The more clients that are drawn in the more this gives strength to the club to continue the process.... deals, sales, etc. Right now I think that it is more about getting bums on seats than putting a few more pounds in the coffers--that will come later as the fans come back BUT, if they never get in the ground, then they have nothing to come back to do they?
  16. Hi folks Within a few minutes of the start Torres of Chivas stuns the crowd with a superb acrobatic goal. Watch this. Wow. http://www.whitecapsfc.com/video/2013/09/01/highlights-whitecaps-fc-2-2-chivas-usa
  17. That's what Americans do, 12th man. They stand up, wave flags and cheer, and cheer...and cheer. It's amazing really.
  18. Well, Caley D, Wanderer seems to favour a substantial reduction in prices. No one wants to reduce their prices in the market place and the shrewd often have a very good reason not to. But, my Real Estate Agent has been pestering us to death about reducing our price in an attempt to sell our house in a dead market. But if she worked harder and in a more innovative way (hell will freeze over before any Canadian Realtor will deliver 1,000 leaflets round the doors as I did when I was in business for myself - and did very well out of it I may say) then she could perhaps come to us with a more persuasive argument to suggest a larger price reduction especially after we have already reduced the price heavily over several months anyway. However, if there are no buyers, then reducing the price only opens up a can of worms because once you do that then it is very difficult to go back to the former price. At that time you have to sit tight or take the property off the market. And so, I am not suggesting this route as an irrevocable step for ICT. Just a temporary measure to encourage people to come through the doors and to show the new product to them. My "risking life and limb" comment was a symbolic gesture against resignation to the status quo and defeatism and in no way should anyone see that as my expectation that they should court bankruptcy by being reckless in the extreme. It's not my attitude, merely an illustration of my OPINION and how I think. So give me a break? Something must be done that's different
  19. Hearts dug themselves into a hole and should now dig themselves out?...........er.....: Like, you mean, "I widnae help a lame dog over s style , mate, I,m only here fer the beer ....right?"
  20. Persons who say that the club cannot afford to lower prices when they are doing well on the park, in order to boost attendances, need to offer proof because otherwise they are condemning the club to obscurity and smothering it in negative thought. Give us proof of that statement. Have you seen the financial Books? Have you had a private confidential interview with the Chairman and his Board? I will warrant not. Now is the time to be positive, not negative. A river, taken at the flood, leads on to greatness. Embrace the challenge and don't look back. Life is short. A smile is worth a thousand gurny faces. Set your sights high and even if you don't achieve your goal completely you are going onwards and upwards and, hopefully, inspiring others by your forward-looking thrust. If the pioneers who risked life and limb to colonise America wrung their hands at every footstep and cried the blues at every rest for a pot of coffee in the middle of nowhere, then where would the most powerful country on this planet be today. Answer non-existent. Most of these hardy folks had no money and faced trials and tribulations that none of us could ever imagine in out soft, comfortable and feather-bedded, modern existence. Nor did they have a cell phone to call for help or a TV to remind them of their past more civilised life. They had only one way to go and that was onward and upward or perish.. AARGh! Invest now, oh Great ICT, or ..be condemned by the negative posters to the third division and obscurity...
  21. Caley D --that was an excellent video with the kids. Keeping kids active and into some form of athleticism or sports is key to building up their enthusiasm and interest in ICT. They all looked very happy when they left. Fantastic.
  22. --unsure. I don't mean reduce the prices for ever--just on an INTERMITTENT basis only. Have to try....Must try...If at first you don't succeed, try, try and try again. Try and fail, no problem. Don't try? Sure to fail -- inexcusable!
