  1. You could try the GARAMOND font....then you won't have to shout at any time. How you convert it , however, is another matter. maybe you can't? B)
  2. All we expect is that he does a good job whenever he is played. He sure looks like Mel Gibson in a kilt. His cousin, maybe. That's probably why he was playing for that Sydney team--Yeah! That's for sure.
  3. I was completely unable to see the Eagle and I just figured that without binoculat vision that was going to be hard for me. Then I went back threefeet and cocked my head to the right as Mr Eagle cocked his to the left and, Heh Presto!, there he was. I think it was just an optical delusion on my part. Is there a back button you can use after you have read your thread?
  4. Now I can see the new posts by clicking on "view New Content" button that's one of my main concerns solved. But when you finish reading a thread then I find there is no back button to quickly get me back to the othjer threads so all I do is click on the "View New Content" again to achieve that. Is that the long way round Scotty or is there a built-in shortcut so that I can get to the threads to select the next unread (i.e for me)thread that I want to look at? Secondly we used to be able to delete all post on all Forums after we had finished getting up to date with unread posts. But it appears that there is no similar button now to do this. Is this intentional? I like to start my next day's review of all new posts with a completely fresh set of threads so I like the former site better at this stage. I understand we must wait for you to have time to review all the suggestions coming from posters so maybe you want us just to wait a couple of weeks more now before commenting? Thirdly I tried to click on "fonts" to see if the font could be changed .Nothing doding so what is the puirpose of that button?
  5. Antwerp girl I don't want to scare you or anything but for thrills go to the official Inverness Cadonian Thistle website , click on (video) highlights (of last season), pick any match and enjoy. First, to view, click on the right side "wmv" icon which will open up the match automatically. Do you run WINAMP? My favourite matches on these videos are AYR away and Raith Rovers at home. Great goals!!!!!!
  6. Incredible. Great effort from the lads. IMPRESSIVE.
  7. Terry is not so diplomatic ... --he is just bl..dy frank and earnest.
  8. Yes ,and Celtic are beginning to get into gear. They won in Seattle (North West Coast of USA)2-1 a couple of days ago, I think the score was --leading by 2 goals at one point. Lost the other two to the new guys Philadelphia Union and Manchester United. I watched Philadelphia beat Toronto at the weekend. I figured that a draw would have been fair-both teams had the edge de temps en temp but pHILLY HAS QUITE AN IMPRESSIVE HARD-WORKING TEAM. i AM OFF TO THE vANCOUVER wHITECAPS ON THURSDAY NIGHT SO i HOPE THE game is worth the drive .
  9. So, Renegade, for you it is not a questionb of ...."Lough and behold, hail our saviour"......
  10. Caution! The youngsters came on good in Div 1 but what about the SPL? They could take a few games to settle. This is not Easy Street at all. Caution!
  11. Do you have some form of manual, Scotty, so that we can find our way around. e.g. Where are the "Go to New Posts" button, the "View all Posts" button, the "Delete all Forums Topics" button and so on? Also how do you activate all the emoticoms--right now I can see myriads of red -crossed boxes but onlyone or two actual emoticoms.I can do without them but perhaps there is something wrong if they don't display to the right of this page. Frankly I am quite flummoxed at this time by so many changes.
  12. Well-- that's a switch and no mistake. Think it will take a bit of getting used to . But all hands to the pumps and Bob's yer Uncle. :026: Good luck, Scotty. Hope you don't have too many headaches from now on. But why are the emoticoms not coming up? Most of them are red-crossed out??????? Cheers, Scarlet
  13. IHE -- your point then is that he must have been picked for his ability to get along with folks. My point, exactly...... :008:
  14. The old adage.."the best defence is attack" is as true today as it was yesterday. :008:
  15. Gtringo --you just know that a honka is a very big nose, mun? :P
  16. IHE-- :P Pithy and to the point . Ha! Ha! Ha! But, seriously ,Big Tel seems to be putting his own team topgether and what I would liek to know is whether he has piocked Marcella because he can get along with him or whether he has a re[putation for being vfgery good at his job. Either way might work because Jonny Tuffey has already advised us that he spent 3 yeas at Partick ,playing almost every week. If he is smart then he will have learnt a lot about goalkeeping I am sure.
  17. Shrewd move by Terry to sign Tuffey. A solid defence, and in particular a solid goalie, spreads confidence through the team and is a huge asset to the team. R Esson may, as stated, have a good season and then he may say goodby so...what then/ Scrambling for a new goalie if J T was not here, that's when. As it is ,Ryan will play for his place and no mistake and if he gets a great move then we all wish him well and J Tuffey will be a great replacement. Yep ,I like the way Terry is thinking. I am personally getting really excited and I think we will surprise a few people when a new and improved ICT team settles down nicely and hits their stride. Fortress Longman will again become a venue to be fearedand dreaded.
  18. Johnboy, which position do you think D Proctor will assume. then?
  19. To sign a keeper with Tuffey's potential one does wonder what Ryan Esson's views currently are about his hopes of moving on at the end of this coming season. ICT are not, apparently, a wealthy club so the question is whether or not they can afford 3 promising keepers whose demands are likely to increase as their performances improve. Frankly, if Johnson does really well I think that he will feature in the not too distant future more prominently for ICT and one of the other two will move on accompanied by a good fee for the club. So the club's thinking that all of these 3 keepers should be looked upon as an investment is a fair outlook with upside potential down the road. This could be a very shrewd move on someone's part within the bowels of Bossland. All we may need now is a big new-Dodds at the back.
  20. Antwerp Girl It looks as if you may become a regular fan and a poster on here? Why not? Oh Yes! We have a vibrant and extensive International set of posters who come on here and are scattered over many parts of the world. It has been some time since we enjoyed such excellent English. Smile
  21. Dry wit at its best. LOL
  22. I like Kilda's comment. And because he kilda certain goal against us with flair and dash. Sertiously.Give him lots of encouragement and watch what happens!
  23. It's eexie-peexie for the wing then? His bursts of frenetic mayhem up the left side of the park did, however, impress me though and I would sooner be running alongside him than facing him coming at me--then again I am relatively small so ...that's understandable ^_^ But he once had a marvellous foot intervention almost on the goal line going at full tilt which saved a certain goal so, like most of us , what's a wee flaw or twa between friends. C'mon give Lionel a fair chance . Football is surely all about entertainment and there is value for money there. :(
  24. EH? That guy from Porlock was he a wizard, like? Like...the Warlock from Porlock? Oh and that poem Chas--is that the one where the ploughmnan wneds his weary way and leaves the world to darkness and to me (and you).. ? Ah! such wonderful, sweet memories of my glorious school days when I paid attenshun. -- I mean the times when I was getting belted for not doing so .
