Truth is, adversity teaches you to appreciate what you have had, what you have and what you lost. If it allows ICT to struggle and fight a wee bit harder to retain their place in the SPL then it has been worth it. It not only seems to sort the men from the boys but, like every other challenge in life, it brings new opportunities for growth--look at Adam Rooney's progress this season, for example. Revelatory. Who knows, in ten years he may be still at ICT and revered like Roscoe.

Love 'em all. Warts and all. One cannot see the white without the contrast of the black. And, mostly, they are nice to old Uncle Scar.

To be blunt, there was an open-ness and honesty about it that was ....pleasing. Seems to be a few more thrills and spills and honest endeavour here compared to the slicky, dicky SPL.

Topping post from Caley D. Dream topping. I can't top it. Also it's noice to see new friends like Rickoza coming in and expressing admiration for a great club and team effort. Hope we continue to make and bring in new fans , friends and new posters. Oh, and before I forget, a word of praise to IHE for his neat prose. Puts the pros and cons in a nutshell, so he does. Hoch! I've had the feeling for some time now that this is Caley Thistle's year. It's not so much that refs or whatever are gilding the Lily in their favour but simply that it's THEIR YEAR. The Gods are with us , that's all. And when that happens . things just fall into place...right? I mean, let's face it, as we look back over the past few years..it's about time !

And serve as a feeder club for ICT ?

If Caley Thistle win the league this year then someone in the team must have worked darn hard., particularly down the stretch .

A VERY EXPERIENCED , reliable defender, or two, would greatly assist Caley in their season in the SPL which would allow the club to build a superior team by the end of that season. The fact that these player(s) may be nearing the end of their careers would not necessarily be an issue. The point being that staying in the SPL would be the issue. The likes of Rooney, or the other young players (forwards), may not be able to hack it in the SPL as well so scoring goals like the team has done to date may not be so easy. Therefore, stopping them leaking at the other end would be a priority as a first step to the team again finding their feet in the SPL. Choosing whether we should buy Tuffey or someone else as good to back up Esson would definitely be a ... tuffey.

A draw , or even a loss, now will not put a big dent in ICT's championship hopes. But if it happens to Country or Dundee, to pick just two vying teams, then the psychological consequences could hit them hard.

O.K. Scotty. Here is one :- I have no problem with viewing the video but I now have four video players all capable of showing this. Windows Media Player, Adobe Flash, Flv flash player and, probably, Real Player. When the video is playing how can I determine which of these players it has automatically chosen to run it? The url at the heading says wmv but does that mean Windows Media Player is running it or would it be the flv player. I think it is Window Media Player. The task manager, surprisingly, does not show any Player application running, just the following two :- ICT video in Internet Explorer and Inverness Caledonian Thistle. When I right click on the video it shows a very small box with three options , two of which are, respectively, "about Flv player" and "about Adobe Flash 10." The questionn is which of these is actually playing the video. If I have this information I can compare video presentations and players for quality. Thanks.

And if we offered to pay for a live video service , how much of a difference would that make to their thoughts.? Unless the rate was extortionate, I think there would be a good few overseas posters who might be more than willing to sign up for that. Certainly worth exploring although maybe not quite yet. Meanime, nothing to stop the feelers going out to test the waters and sow the seeds.?
