Definitely no substitute for grass, man...
  2. My thoughts entirely.
  3. While the debate rumbles on regarding supporting our rivals in the Cup Final, I'm interested to know how many on here would like to see County winning Div1 and joining us in the SPL. (We're back in there to stay now) The derby games over the last season were a new experience for me which I really enjoyed. I'd be happy for more in the season after next. What do you think? Promotion for County, or would you rather see them relegated?
  4. Don't think it's jealousy, Mannie.... Football rivalries, throughout the world, have existed for a long, long time. Part and parcel of the game - always has been and always will be.
  5. Well yes.... but Djebi-Zadi was an exciting player, who was always likely to deliver something unexpected....
  6. Article /interview on Barrowman in today's Courier in which he states he's had lots of messages of support from ICT fans for tomorrow. Does anyone on here know any of these fans?
  7. And maybe check out possible future signings....
  8. I agree.... Better to encourage Shinnie to step into the squad, than bring back Hastings.
  9. I seem to recall a period between Robbo quitting, and Brewster's first appointment, when then chairman David Sutherland indicated during a radio interview, that he would be very pleased to hear from Gus McPherson regarding the vacant manager's position....
  10. Yeah... Last October against Raith we beat them 1-0 away, and we had a 1-1 draw at home to Dunfermline 1 week later.

He always seems to me to lose the toss 9 times out of 10. Guess that makes him a useless to$$er!
  12. My wife just looked over my shoulder and says that's the only sensible post she's ever read on here. Poor woman..... What does she know?
  13. His best ever game for us was against Motherwell in the cup. He played out his skin that night and at the same time managed to get the whole team fired up. That game was the turning point of our season for me. I wish he was still here.
  14. If that does happen again whatever you do, don't say the same thing you said after the last time it happened. Know wot I mean?
  15. Home game with a win against either of the OF would do me nicely.
  16. Chambers Bar it was.... A pub close to the Sheriff Court heavily frequented by the great and the good in Hamilton legal circles. It wasn't quite up to Johnny Foxes very high standards, but it wasn't too bad.
  17. Don't be Cruel...
  18. Assuming it's for the player who's contributed more to the club than any other over the past ten years, it would have to be Tokely.
  19. He'll be All Shook Up....
  20. Yeap.... Killie pies back on the menu!!

I'm not surprised at this news.... I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago in Johnny Foxes..... He loves it here! :D
  22. He played an absolute blinder against a high flying, under a new management Motherwell side, when we dumped them out the Scottish Cup back in mid-January. Scored a cracker of a goal that night as well. That would suggest to me he is more than capable at SPL level.
  23. Great pics.... What a fantastic achievement!! I'm definitely going to join you on your next venture, next time. You'll be okay taking turns to push me in my wheelchair, won't you?
