  1. PS - to earlier entry - nice to see Gregory Tade, Josh Meekings and Jonny Tuffey in the stands supporting the under 19s. Thanks lads - nice to see you there.
  2. For the first 90 minutes ICTunder 19s did everything but score (does that remind anyone of the 1st team this season before game v Killie ?) but in extra time, firstly the captain Jack Sutherland scored and then Kevin Buchan. As Davie said, the wee East Fife goalie played a blinder and was really the Man of the Match. A nice day out but thank goodness we didnt get to a penalty shoot-out, by then the frost was showing in the players breaths! Cold at the stadium, after 4pm, and especially noted that the East Fife fans outnumbered the ICTs nearly 10 to 1 - why was this game not advertised locally ?? Well done, the under 19s. Hope you get a home draw in the next round and it is advertised appropriately.
  3. Just a note, for all of us missing our fix of ICT footie this weekend, the Under 19s Cup tie is on this Sunday, at the Stadium, kick off 2pm. I presume free entry as usual. Please come along on Sunday to see our boys meet up with Robbo's.
  4. On a lovely warm sunny afternoon, ICT Youths won 3 - 1. Good game and pleased a few turned up to watch, including quite a few of the ICT first team.

Got sooooo excited at listening to my all time favourite, Elvis, I posted before I commented! No wonder! Am on cloud nine and..... I believe...... in ICT ...... Team will come good. Also, many thanks Alex MacLeod, for the Elvis track - its made my night, day, week, month, season, etc. What an old saddo - just waiting for Johndo's comments ... and others too, but. I don't care. Elvis is the best, ICT will be too.
  6. Was I imagining it, or were the Stewards a bit better this time at Dundee? I think it was a different stewarding company and when they were requested to sort out why we were originally stuck in a corner with poor views of the pitch, they did arrange for us to get slightly better seating further along by moving the cordon tape. Well done to Margaret M for taking the stewards on and getting it sorted. That wouldn't have happened with the previous stewards. Even the cop who stood near me at the back had good craic! Changed days indeed at Dundee.
  7. The Supporters Club bus will leave from the Stadium at 10am on Saturday 24th September to go to the game v Celtic. Usual price ?12. Usual refreshment stop in Perth, both ways. Please phone or text the Bus Hot Line 0751 976 3507 to book your seat. Remember also, this game is All Ticket, so you must buy your ticket in advance of Saturday, from the ICT Shop at the Stadium. Mods - please "pinned" this entry - many thanks.
  8. Seems like Section E is not living up to the atmosphere previously in Section G. I kept my seat in Section G and miss the boys - never ever told anyone to sit down there, so, why don't you all petition to come back? And, old sourpuss Dougal, the Supporters Club were not baking cakes at Forres - it was a very special Harry Gow Birthday cake for Kath's birthday - so boo to you........jealous old so and so. Obviously you don't know how to celebrate birthdays with friends.
  9. The ICT Supporters Club bus will leave from the Stadium at 10am on Saturday 17th September 2011 to go to the game v Dundee United. Usual stop at Perth on the way there and back for refreshments. Usual price ?12 per person. Please phone, or text, 0751 976 3507 to reserve your seat.
  10. That was a few of the Supporters Club, at half time, celebrating the birthday of our Lady Kath ! You should have introduced yourself "sotonict" and then got a nice piece of cake - even Terry B and Rita enjoyed a slice each. Were you the fan a few rows behind us, looking longingly, but not quite brave enough to join the ladies? A nice day out, and a NoS cup to end the afternoon. Well done our boys, despite the ref (why did he get a medal!!??) Next time, sotonict, join us and have some banter.
  11. In the North Stand we all watch out for the "goal" practice shots and take cover! So many seats shattered, so many cups of tea/coffee/Bovril spilled, no wonder we are pleased to see the ball occasionally go into the net! And, of course, the ball to go into the net at the North Stand end for ICT during the game. ps great celebrations for our new hero a certain G Tade on Saturday - more of the same, please, Mr T.
  12. Totally agree. Whatever was the Sunday Post reporter thinking? Dayton is a cheating, diving, xxxxx and not what you expected from Killie under Pattalainen - but maybe under Shiels (maybe their Manager is - like father like son Dean?).
  13. After the trip to Ayr midweek, a few ICT fans decided to go to Grant Street park at 12 noon to watch the Cup Final between Dalneigh and Balloan FC, for boys of 15 years and under. We knew boys in both sides so were being "neutral" in our support - strange, but true, we cheered both sides when they scored. We really wanted to see a few goals! and, what a treat the game was - Dalneigh won 4 - 3 and the game was played at break-neck speed, Dalneigh side seemed a bit younger and smaller than the Balloan team but, despite that, all the boys were committed to every ball and every pass. It's just as well ICT won today (well done our boys, at last) or else we might be watching the schoolboys more often, for the commitment and the goals. Incidentally it was mentioned that the crowd at Grant Street today was more than those that turn up to watch Clach most days - how poor is that. Well done Dalneigh and I'm sure Balloan will do well next time around.
  14. Well done boys. First game I have missed of NOS Cup in ages (umpteen outside circumstances) but I will be there for the Final. All best wishes to you all (sorry about the midgies - flaming itchy nuisances).
  15. I bet Aldred is loving this. Coming from Watford to play with a bunch of kids against WHO? Wonder if the midgies are out in Caithness, the same as they were in Brora last week ? He didnt like them there!!!

Tuffey usually plays in goals in cup games. Nice team to watch and win!
  17. Spot on, I couldn't have said it better myself Agreed!!
  18. Many thanks for your enquiry - the fan who took ill was my nephew Brian. After medical attention at the game, and ambulance to ARI, he was diagnosed as having taken an anaphylactic shock (a severe life-threatening allergic reaction to something). He has never had this before and is still in ARI but may be out this afternoon. Our sincere thanks to everyone who helped and for all good wishes and support received. Lizi
  19. This is to confirm that a bus will definitely be going to the game v Ayr on Wednesday. Please phone, or text, to book a seat on the bus. Many thanks - we must see a win soon so why not on Wednesday.
  20. lizi replied to CaleyD's topic in Caley Thistle
    I agree!
  21. Oh, I do hope you are right. All these dealings and wheelings are just toooo much for me. Let the "big whigs" get on with it and let us fans just enjoy ICT. These money dealings are not for us fans really, quarter millions etc., shares etc., - if I won the lottery I would be there, but......
  22. The ICT Supporters Club have provisionally booked a bus to go to the Cup game v Ayr on Wednesday 24th August 2011, leaving from the ICT Stadium at 2pm. Usual price ?12 per person. Please phone 0751 976 3507 as soon as possible, as the bus will only be confirmed dependent on a sufficient number of bums on seats.
  23. The ICT Supporters bus will leave the ICT Stadium at 11am on Saturday 20th August to go to Aberdeen for the ICT game v Aberdeen. There will be a comfort/whatever stop at Keith on the way there (if requested/required) and a stop for fish and chips/whatever at Fochabers on the way home. Please phone, or text, to book your seat, on 0751 976 3507. Lets hope for three points from this game, and correct referee's decisions (and linesmen)(too many poor decisions for me to call them assistant referees) for a change!
  24. Telephoned the Stadium just now and it is confirmed that the game is ON tonight at Brora. Kick off 7.30pm. I agree that these games should be given a higher profile - and at least an entry on the official site. The impression seems that it is not important for fans to go to these "smaller" fixtures but many people, due to work etc, can only go to the home games and those in and around the Highland area. Surely it is good for the young players, who will likely to be playing tonight, to know that fans want to support them and not just the 1st team. We could be seeing the stars of the future. (and of the past Golly). See you there.
