  1. Special top marks to the young supporters who travelled to this game - they sang throughout the 90 minutes and did ICT proud. They never went quiet the whole time, which is more than can be said for lots of supporters of the "bigger" teams when losing. Well done boys - you know who you all are. At the final whistle, only Roman Golabart and Josh Meekings acknowledged the travelling support, so black marks to the rest of the team who left the field without a backward glance or acknowledgement of their fans (probably expecting a tongue-lashing for the next hour or so from TB and MM).

    Current Climate

I have always supported Caley Thistle and before that Caley. However, it is only really since I qualified for a concession ticket that I have been able to attend all the games, home and away. Since retiring from my full time job, I have a small part time job and that pays for the footie - travel to home and away games, season ticket, away entrance, cup tie entrance, etc. I couldnt do that if I didnt get the concession entrance - it makes the difference between attendance and pacing the floor at home worrying - now I just worry whilst being at the stadiums.
  3. Re Luke and Fraz's comments above, I sit in Section G and really miss the singing section, which was moved, supposedly, to have any bad language further away from the family section. From my seat, 4 rows from the back, right amongst the then singing section, I only ever heard the occasional bad word and the user was usually told off by his companions, it wasnt left to wifies to say anything. No sweet rustlers, us! The banter was good and we all had many laughs. Anyway, what school child doesnt hear swear words - they hear them in the school playground nowadays. Well, on Saturday, there was more bad language from a regular ICT "supporter" in section G than ever came from the singing section. He was told repeatedly to curb his language and eventually did so slightly - this guy only ever criticises, never praises and is a real pain. Funny comments for the first 15 minutes, then boring boring boring - Proctor being his main whipping boy, then the ref. This man is such a pain that, when there are empty seats in the North Stand, other fans move to get away from him - this couldnt be done on Saturday, and it must have spoiled the game for the four youngsters sitting in the same row as him, just a couple of seats away.
  4. Our Gregory's already the fans favourite. Running to the North Stand at ICT at the end of a home game to meet the younger fans, and coming to the away stand at Motherwell to acknowledge the fans there - only goes to win over the fans even more and he is already a winner. We have been singing his name since he came here, so, it can only get better. That goal on Saturday was a peach! (Pity it was at the away end from us!). Our Gregory runs and runs, never gives up, and that's what we want for an ICT player. Bring it on, Gregory.
  5. Slow motion of video taken by Andycam clearly shows that Kenny got the ball, not the man. So, who made the decision at the Appeal? Who viewed the video carefully? North/South bias ? or what..... For my sins I do hope that C..nty make it to the SPL (as long as we are still there and are always higher than them in any table) then those namby-pambies in the Central Belt have to travel SO far north twice as often. Ooh the shame - hope it snows much more than it has recently - oh the poor souls, my heart bleeds - not.
  6. The video taken by Andycam, slowed down, clearly shows that Kenny got the ball. Fast track appeal, my a..e. Its a conspiracy!!! Forgive the language! please - usually reserved for live games.
  7. Well said, Johndo. The away crowd, were singing (not always in unison) but singing nevertheless. The atmosphere at our end was great - maybe it was because we were in the stand behind the goals and not in the "tractor style" seats?! Onwards and upwards! Here's to all the brave souls who will join me on the trip south on Wednesday to continue the "vibe". Surely the old "Jebi Dabi" song now fits our own Gregory Tade much better and the chants of Golabart, Golabart, were top class. Many thanks, one and all.
  8. Wonder what Richie made of it, from his position in the away fans stand? Would love to hear his true views of the game, and the players performance, not the edited/printed version !
  9. Could be a great night in Dunfermline - contact me, if you want to go to the game and not just sit and watch on Sky. After all, you can tape it and watch it all over again!
  10. Can I agree with Capital Caley - please. ICT fans will be surprised and delighted with the next ? penalty awarded for us, But not in a penalty shoot-out v Dunfermline next Wednesday, please....
  11. Supporters Club bus leaves from the Stadium as usual at 10am and will arrive back in Inverness around 9.30pm, traffic permitting.
  12. Adam Rooney for Birmingham, Friday eve on ITV4 - a good downwards header. Well done, Adam.
  13. Wow! That's an early rise for us going to Dundee on a Sunday morning !
  14. Really great to be able to hear these interviews and a good insight into the players and Terry as well. Well done everyone involved. Thank you.
  15. Is it still a 7.45pm kick off for our away game v Hibs the Wednesday between Christmas and New Year? Anyone able to confirm this please.
  16. And I'll be there with you. Solidarity, belief, and all that....
  17. As at this time Monday morning, the site has not been updated, the Supporters Club bus will leave as usual from the Stadium at 10am, arriving back in Inverness at approx 9pm to 9.30pm traffic permitting. The stop at Perth on the way home is only usually about 20 minutes to 30 minutes max.
  18. Sent details to you early Sunday morning. Was away at Hearts on Saturday.
  19. Agree with you CaleyD and not with IHE (that must be a 1st for me, not to agree with IHE - sorry Johndo) but, - after all CaleyD and I were at the game and IHE was only watching courtesy of tv! We were right!!! No red, no yellow. But still no points. The OF win again. When will it ever end. This must be the 1st time I have ever wished that our "dear" neighbours get promoted and be in the same league as us and make the sad central belters travel north twice as many times. See how Kris Commons likes that!? What a wxxxxer.
  20. Many thanks Alex. Have written down these directions and will give to our coach driver (all seats booked in Supporters Club 51 seater bus). If we get lost, I will blame you! See you there (if we ever get introduced!). An ICT win will be great too.
  21. If Terry was to get into bother for his comments, then the pundits on BBC2 tonight said far worse about the referee. They were pretty damning about Steven O'Reilly - I just hope he and those faceless wonders on the Appeals Panel watched BBC2 tonight at 10pm and are embarrassed - the pundits thought all ICTs red cards this season were a nonsense - but then again nothing can be done to the pundits, just to our TB, and our team's the loser, again. Overpaid Incompetent referees - please go on strike again - the foreign ref we had then was first class.
  22. Did I just dream it - or did the BBC and their "pundits" say that ICT were robbed (or not in so many words!). Our game the 1st one on at 10pm and the "pundits" saying we should win the red card being rescinded (as long as TB words it carefully!? whatever that means). And they criticised the ref too. Wonders will never cease. But we still lose the points. Credit to bbc2 tv tonight - might be a long time before I say that again.
  23. Since we have conceeded 30 goals in 15 games and not kept a clean sheet all season, I wouldn't be too confident!! Oh, ye of little faith! Come on, Ryan Esson, don't let me down, please. And the Supporters Club bus is filling up nicely too - obviously some fans think this is going to be a great game and regret not going to Killie.
  24. Since we have conceeded 30 goals in 15 games and not kept a clean sheet all season, I wouldn't be too confident!! Oh, ye of little faith! Come on, Ryan Esson, don't let me down, please.
  25. A breath of fresh air - people are too willing to be offended these days. Just how many of us would recognise a "sectarian song" if we heard it? I'm not sure there are that many and, why do the OF sing these "songs" at football matches anyway?
