  1. Many thanks Alex. Have written down these directions and will give to our coach driver (all seats booked in Supporters Club 51 seater bus). If we get lost, I will blame you! See you there (if we ever get introduced!). An ICT win will be great too.
  2. If Terry was to get into bother for his comments, then the pundits on BBC2 tonight said far worse about the referee. They were pretty damning about Steven O'Reilly - I just hope he and those faceless wonders on the Appeals Panel watched BBC2 tonight at 10pm and are embarrassed - the pundits thought all ICTs red cards this season were a nonsense - but then again nothing can be done to the pundits, just to our TB, and our team's the loser, again. Overpaid Incompetent referees - please go on strike again - the foreign ref we had then was first class.
  3. Did I just dream it - or did the BBC and their "pundits" say that ICT were robbed (or not in so many words!). Our game the 1st one on at 10pm and the "pundits" saying we should win the red card being rescinded (as long as TB words it carefully!? whatever that means). And they criticised the ref too. Wonders will never cease. But we still lose the points. Credit to bbc2 tv tonight - might be a long time before I say that again.
  4. Since we have conceeded 30 goals in 15 games and not kept a clean sheet all season, I wouldn't be too confident!! Oh, ye of little faith! Come on, Ryan Esson, don't let me down, please. And the Supporters Club bus is filling up nicely too - obviously some fans think this is going to be a great game and regret not going to Killie.

  6. A breath of fresh air - people are too willing to be offended these days. Just how many of us would recognise a "sectarian song" if we heard it? I'm not sure there are that many and, why do the OF sing these "songs" at football matches anyway?
  7. Superb! My sentiments exactly. Well said, Row S
  8. Every time I am just a wee bit bored, and nil on tv worth a second glance, then on goes my dvd player and so, tonight, for the umpteenth time I have relived this game and, so, why didnt the commentators really give us true credit! Joy of joys!! Maybe this Saturday I will get another memorable dvd to replace this one (my absolute favourite).
  9. Well said Alex. I also would never condone violence of any kind but PG is a sad, sorry figure and, more to be pitied than scorned. Oh dear. How lucky are some players, past and present, to have caring managers who people manage properly. Interpersonal skills is an art, not always evident, but can be learned.
  10. dvd....where did you get that from?? though it does spring to mind that surely by now we have enough to create an old firm highlights disc would be good to have the 2-1 against rangers on disc too. loved that one I was thinking that as well Tug, if there is a DVD of this game i would love a copy, if i knew where to look . Game was on tv and my dvd is from that.
  11. My favourite DVD of all time. Has been replayed so often in my house, it must be getting worn out - though I must admit I fast-forward the first 30 minutes. A great game, to have been there and also to recall, time after time. The commentators expected Celtic to come back, but they didnt, and that increases the pleasure of listening to the commentary, even though it was four years ago. A great day.

    Chubbs

Chubbs told us, on Sunday at the under 19s game, that he is having surgery on his shoulder this week, similar to Aaron Doran's surgery. Best of luck, Andy - he hopes to back playing, after the under 19s winter break.
  13. PS - to earlier entry - nice to see Gregory Tade, Josh Meekings and Jonny Tuffey in the stands supporting the under 19s. Thanks lads - nice to see you there.
  14. For the first 90 minutes ICTunder 19s did everything but score (does that remind anyone of the 1st team this season before game v Killie ?) but in extra time, firstly the captain Jack Sutherland scored and then Kevin Buchan. As Davie said, the wee East Fife goalie played a blinder and was really the Man of the Match. A nice day out but thank goodness we didnt get to a penalty shoot-out, by then the frost was showing in the players breaths! Cold at the stadium, after 4pm, and especially noted that the East Fife fans outnumbered the ICTs nearly 10 to 1 - why was this game not advertised locally ?? Well done, the under 19s. Hope you get a home draw in the next round and it is advertised appropriately.
  15. Just a note, for all of us missing our fix of ICT footie this weekend, the Under 19s Cup tie is on this Sunday, at the Stadium, kick off 2pm. I presume free entry as usual. Please come along on Sunday to see our boys meet up with Robbo's.
  16. On a lovely warm sunny afternoon, ICT Youths won 3 - 1. Good game and pleased a few turned up to watch, including quite a few of the ICT first team.
  17. Got sooooo excited at listening to my all time favourite, Elvis, I posted before I commented! No wonder! Am on cloud nine and..... I believe...... in ICT ...... Team will come good. Also, many thanks Alex MacLeod, for the Elvis track - its made my night, day, week, month, season, etc. What an old saddo - just waiting for Johndo's comments ... and others too, but. I don't care. Elvis is the best, ICT will be too.
  18. What's on your mind?

  19. Was I imagining it, or were the Stewards a bit better this time at Dundee? I think it was a different stewarding company and when they were requested to sort out why we were originally stuck in a corner with poor views of the pitch, they did arrange for us to get slightly better seating further along by moving the cordon tape. Well done to Margaret M for taking the stewards on and getting it sorted. That wouldn't have happened with the previous stewards. Even the cop who stood near me at the back had good craic! Changed days indeed at Dundee.
  20. The Supporters Club bus will leave from the Stadium at 10am on Saturday 24th September to go to the game v Celtic. Usual price ?12. Usual refreshment stop in Perth, both ways. Please phone or text the Bus Hot Line 0751 976 3507 to book your seat. Remember also, this game is All Ticket, so you must buy your ticket in advance of Saturday, from the ICT Shop at the Stadium. Mods - please "pinned" this entry - many thanks.
  21. Seems like Section E is not living up to the atmosphere previously in Section G. I kept my seat in Section G and miss the boys - never ever told anyone to sit down there, so, why don't you all petition to come back? And, old sourpuss Dougal, the Supporters Club were not baking cakes at Forres - it was a very special Harry Gow Birthday cake for Kath's birthday - so boo to you........jealous old so and so. Obviously you don't know how to celebrate birthdays with friends.
  22. The ICT Supporters Club bus will leave from the Stadium at 10am on Saturday 17th September 2011 to go to the game v Dundee United. Usual stop at Perth on the way there and back for refreshments. Usual price ?12 per person. Please phone, or text, 0751 976 3507 to reserve your seat.
  23. That was a few of the Supporters Club, at half time, celebrating the birthday of our Lady Kath ! You should have introduced yourself "sotonict" and then got a nice piece of cake - even Terry B and Rita enjoyed a slice each. Were you the fan a few rows behind us, looking longingly, but not quite brave enough to join the ladies? A nice day out, and a NoS cup to end the afternoon. Well done our boys, despite the ref (why did he get a medal!!??) Next time, sotonict, join us and have some banter.
  24. In the North Stand we all watch out for the "goal" practice shots and take cover! So many seats shattered, so many cups of tea/coffee/Bovril spilled, no wonder we are pleased to see the ball occasionally go into the net! And, of course, the ball to go into the net at the North Stand end for ICT during the game. ps great celebrations for our new hero a certain G Tade on Saturday - more of the same, please, Mr T.
