Ok, ICT were not great but, it was disappointing to see the rush of "fans" to the exit when Hibs got their second goal. We have been used to singing "Is there a fire drill" when we have witnessed the Old Firm etc fans leaving early but, ICT fans leaving early .....oh dear. My highlight of a poor day out was getting a nice big hug from IHE at half-time. My downlight (is there such a word/term) was mis-placing one of our older passengers from the bus (Lady Kath would have called him a coffin-dodger)(he was found, thankfully)(by Lady Kath)(who wasnt even on the bus!) but my blood pressure still is not happy. Oh, the stress!!! No wonder I am having to give the next away game to Dundee United a miss (going to a Ladies Away Weekend with lots of champagne etc etc). The blood pressure may be recovered by then! but I will miss my hug from IHE. I hope to make up for my missed hug at the next away game, promise, please, IHE ? !

It's for the supporters bus. Do you know how much it is to hire a 52 seater on a Saturday? Something in the region of ?450. The SC only charge something like a tenner a head so fundraising events like this subsidise the cost of the hiring of a bus. I don't really think supporters need to part with even more cash than they already do supporting the club what with ticket prices and food/drink etc. The club can perferctly afford to subsidise the team bus without the help of the supporters. If only the cost of the bus was in the region of ?450! I wish. Cost is well over ?500 and likely to rise next season due to the ever increasing cost of fuel. Many times, especially when other buses are run in direct competition to the Supporters Club bus, (ie to the "more attractive" games), the numbers are insufficient to cover the cost, hence the need to fundraise to keep the cost per head to a minimum.

To raise funds to continue subsidising buses to away games, the ICT Supporters Club have organised a Race Night in the Caley Thistle Social Club, Greig Street, Inverness, on Friday 25th February at 7.30pm. Entry is ?3 per person (a prize to the person buying a numbered ticket on entry to the event) with eight races to follow, cheer, bet on, whatever. Buffet included in entry price. Lots of good raffle prizes. Please encourage fellow fans to attend - all welcome.

Naughty, naughty IHE! Just you sit beside me at Hibs and then you might see the whole game? Who's the most geriatric - certainly not Rossco or Russeldhino - you, oh no - ok its me! But don't tell anyone.

Supporters Club bus will leave from the Stadium as usual at 10am to go to the Hibs game. ?12 per person. Forgot to add - please phone or text 0751 976 3507 to book a seat.

Chris Hogg did a great job in his debut and got a goal so, well done that man. Is it only me or does he remind anyone else of Darren Dods. Even the way he walks - could we be the team to revive his career just as we did with Darren? However, just like the previous posters, I thought Doran was GREAT! I thought so when he came on as a sub in his first game. Definitely a find - just who are Terry's scouts? They deserve medals - they have picked a winner but, on the negative, I don't think we will see much of him after the end of the season - he has such talent and is sure to go on to greater things. Just wish he wasn't here on loan, a long term contract be a dream. Get to work on him, our Irish players, and convince him to stay for at least a couple of years. The Highlands is a great place and we appreciate good players - Section G are even trying to sort out a song for him already - such is their appreciation!

Gosh, that "Dougal" does my head in. There are plenty fans, like me, who have attended all the home games, both league and cup, (and pre season friendlies) and all the away games too. We don't come on here and praise ourselves and say we are great fans, or moan about the poor crowds at certain games - we try and encourage our friends and colleagues to come to the games but understand lots of families commitments. Strange how Dougal always moans, is he Victor Meldrew reincarnated? Has he not heard about constructive criticism. Please Dougal go and support some other team, please, we have enough moaners at the games without you, please go, or, disconnect your computer and/or mobile phone, and do us all a favour. Bye bye.

Don't know if this is politically correct to say, but, I agree with Luke!!! When any of them breathe, and include Paul Hartley, I swear.

Wishing you a Very Happy Birthday, Johndo. A Birthday hug on Saturday? All the best. Lizi x

Previously I have stuck up for Mr S as I felt he put loadsamoney into ICT, BUT, after his comments on tv not supporting our TB, then, but sorry, my support is with "our Terry". Directors etc must support their Managers and Terry is our best ever - his outburst was from the heart and for the best interests of ICT. We must support Terry, he supports us. Caley away, away! Was Mr DS there and had to suffer a long journey home in a broken down bus??? and still smiling when we met Terry at the Stadium at 3am afterwards? I don't think so, but TB was there...

You got back to Southampton as I was ending my first two hours at work after only 3 hours in bed (not enough for an old coffin-dodger : its catching up on me now!) Next time you come to one of our games, please introduce yourself to us (the ladies who shout and cheer and are always at the away games - there will always be someone to point us out!)(especially if Johndo is there, he knows all the ladies). Hope you enjoyed your night, despite the result. Meet up next time, ok?

I've always enjoyed my visits to the Social Club - the staff are welcoming and the prices are top class. I do think, however, that the Social Club does not have a high enough profile - ie how many ICT fans even know about the Social Club, where it is, what facilities there are for parties etc., A wee bit of advertising would not go amiss - even in the matchday programme, for example. I would hate for the Social Club to close but lots more could be done to encourage punters through the door. If away fans can find it and partake of the low prices, why can't locals?

Supporters Club were invited to the Sportsters sports bar in South Methven Street, Perth. Great place - 40 screens (honestly), great welcome, food, drink, free food for our bus driver!, plenty parking. Just a great place all round. Pity about the eventual result at the game.

Despite being a fan of our Jonny Hayes, I presume all these posters on today were not at the Hearts game when he had a really off day. One player does not make a team but all playing together do. Lets hope this is just a blip and the year improves. Caley away away away!!!

Many thanks to all of you. I've had many laughs on the Forum and, eventually, have learned not to rise to the bait! difficult though it has been on occasions. We all enjoyed the SFL in 2010 - what a journey - what memories - I enjoyed ALL the away games, especially Dumfries and counting the trains passing at Kirkcaldy!, but 2011 is another year and it is to be hoped that ICT will continue onwards and, hopefully, upwards. Many thanks again to CTO and Happy New Year to you all. Lol x
-
Supporters Club bus full too. See you all there........

Was going to post a response but...... it's New Year. Let the "boys"???!!! fight it out themselves. Oh dear, egos and all that...... Happy 2011 and all the best for ICT and its fans (especially the away fans). Lol xx

Please, Johndo, I stood up and sang at Hearts, just for you! (for the team)(as requested by you). Can I have a (late) Christmas or (in advance) New Year HUG on Wednesday night PLEASE!!!! You know by now where I sit in Section G ....... please!!!!
-
Our local boy done good - Well done, Nick. Wishing you great success in your football career - be it with ICT or "bigger" teams in the future. Best wishes always from everyone in the ICT Supporters Club. We are, and will always be, your greatest fans!
