My thoughts also, DJS. Fly the flag. After all, we won the 1st Division - it was a great year, maybe ICT had a season away from the SPL but the wins were great, the away days especially memorable (Ayr!) so, if a flag is to be flown, why not that one. Shame its not on show. Come on, ICT - get the flag flying again.
  2. Well done, our boy, even if Ryan Esson never lets him get a sniff of the goalmouth! A lovely guy, a great goalkeeper, I hope he does well tonight. (ps I sponsor his gloves!)
  3. Celtic website states that prices are ?25, with concessions for over 65s and under 16s ?16.
  4. Today both teams had poppies on their shirts. Ryan's was especially noticeable on his yellow top.
  5. Why, oh why, don't people check their posts before sending to this forum. 16th Nov Scotland game at Aberdeen. 23rd Nov Roy's testimonial game at Inverness. How can anyone get these mixed up and post on this forum before double-checking. Please, please, check dates (and spell-checker) before sending posts. Saves time and double checking. Ta. Rant over.
  6. Typical! BBC highlights nearly all Killie. BBC, please note ICT were there, won the game, and so was I and a good few other ICT vocal fans to confirm that there were more moments that could and should have been shown. The tv highlights are so biased, I am just glad I can see the "highlights" on computer and don't need to wait for the last few minutes of Monday night's tv show. ps Very disappointed I didnt meet up with Johndo yesterday (why?) and didnt get a hug - do hope to meet up at Ibrox, it'll be my highlight of the day as I dislike Ibrox with a passion no matter the score (just hope we win and upset the so-and-so's).

It was so strange yesterday, on the Supporters bus, and at the game, without Gordy. We missed him so much. Our sincerest sympathies are with his family - he spoke of his grandchildren especially and they are in our thoughts.
  8. A really nice guy. Hope it all works out for him. Never tire of watching that wonder save v Celtic and his big smile just afterwards. Maybe not our 1st choice goalie over the years, but a good servant to ICT nevertheless. All the best, Mike.

I'll be there, with rattle and scarf to the ready. I miss the Reserves games on a Tuesday sooooo much!

It's getting near the date for this game but still no info on kick-off time - please, someone - what time should we go to the Stadium. Also, is it pay-at-the-gate, or a freebie?
  11. Result was great, sunshine in Paisley surprising. Atmosphere in away section 100% as ever (and I got a hug from Johndo!)(Ta muchly, fella! - made my day). See all you again, singing at Killie - but no Jimmy and his pies?
  12. Just a reminder that the Supporters Club bus will leave from the Stadium at 10am on Saturday 25th September for our first visit of the season to St Mirren. Please phone the Hotline Number 0751 976 3507 to book a seat on the bus.
  13. IHE - in post no 39 - how could you call me a grouchy old git!!!! We used to be such pals!!!??? but the next time we have a hug, you better watch out! You might get more than you bargain for? Oh, what a stir-up, all over chants last Saturday and the over-use of the "c" word. And, you weren't even there.... ps. I have no need for a pakamac or tartan rug in Section G but admit to having a lovely pink fleece to aid my comfort in the cold winter games! Maybe IHE should try to keep me warmer? but no - he doesn't like our home games!
  14. Well said! Best laugh I've had all day - been a dull day!

As an every home game fan and an even bigger every away game fan, (the atmosphere is sooooo much better), I would be happy to put some money towards whatever is planned. Especially when those stewards at Dundee didnt let us have the banners placed where we wanted a couple of weeks ago! Even when we could see a Dundee United fan with a flag on a flagpole waving away (but not after we had scored twice)(they left not much later). More power to everyone's elbow, or whatever - big banners, flags or ...... Count me in.
  16. Sorry boys, and IHE, but I have had a season ticket for Section G since the North Stand was completed and I have no intention of givingup my season ticket for somewhere else. I was there long before the "Singing Section" decided to camp in Section G after the "open seating area" was a no-go, due to over-stewarding. I enjoy being in Section G, no rain, no sun, plenty atmosphere. I also join in the singing, chanting, foot stamping and especially enjoy if someone bangs the drums (not often enough!) - where have all our drummers gone? Maybe I didn't enjoy the constant use of the 'c' word last Saturday but, I kept my mouth firmly shut then as I am not one of the "sweetie-rustlers" and have had plenty "craic" with the boy/young men behind me over the seasons/years. I did join in the chorus of "Oh Inverness" to try to encourage the team, especially in the final quarter of the game. Surely, not everyone is tarred with the same brush - I don't shout abuse about our team, or our supporters. Likewise this forum should perhaps do the same. I await the backlash - I usually get plenty when I post - which is why I seldom do.
  17. Just a wee reminder - the Supporters Club bus will leave from the Stadium at 10am on Sunday 22nd August for ICT first away game this season v Dundee United. Bus seat prices remain at ?12 per person. Please phone Hotline number 0751 976 3507 to book.
  18. Supporters Club bus will leave the Stadium at 10am.
  19. Supporters Club bus leaves Stadium to travel to game. Phone 0751 976 3507 to book a seat on the bus.
  20. Buses have already been reserved with D&E Coaches, by the Supporters Club, for all the away games for season 10/11. The buses leave from the Stadium, usually at 10am for a 3pm kick off, but earlier for the Kilmarnock games (more miles to travel) and later for the Aberdeen and St Johnstone games (less miles to travel). The number to phone to book a seat on the bus is 0751 976 3507. The cost remains at ?12 per person. The Fans entry in the ICT website has been updated and likewise the entry in this Forum will be updated. Reminders to fans about the bus and the number to phone will be placed in this Forum before each away game. We hope to see you on the bus to Dundee on the 22nd.
  21. I'm sure Andy was at the Clach game with his video cam ?
  22. Johndo - serves you right for all the times you have slagged me off! You rose to my bait - many thanks. Will give you a big hug at the next away game, just for old times! Lol xxxx
  23. McCann played whole game today v Forres. Did OK and better than some of our usual 1st team who seemed a bit out of sorts - no names mentioned.
  24. Right now - own up ? Who on this Forum voted for "Our Tel" to be the first SPL Manager to get the boot in season 2010/2011 ? OK, Brewster may have been the first to be given the order of the boot (or "shoes off") from ICT, but, "Our Tel" - never (surely not) ! Not even if we went straight back to the SFL - we would bounce back from that too. Oh, ye of little faith! Remember the joys of umpteen wins - not in the SPL but in the SFL. I, for one, am reminiscing already about those wins and not, really, looking forward too much to the SPL. Sorry!
  25. Oh, Caley D, you made my night! Gave me a great laugh - didn't notice that first time around. Many thanks.
