  1. Disgusted at the result today. Mr Brewster I spent a lot of the pre-Aberdeen match defending your reputation to hardcore ICT fans...and was ecstatic last weekend. What happened today was wrong wrong wrong...you are now on notice...officially 6 games away from losing my support.
  2. Kicking was fine and he was winding up the Dons fans and then the players with some lengthy preparations. Got a bollocking from Munro (who didn't?) for not kicking quickly from hand when we had a chance to break quickly. But overall put the ball back into play or to safety well. Cross balls? Hmmm the jury's still deliberating. I agree with a lot of the above. It was a great day out - passion, commitment and we made Aberdeen look very ordinary in the first half, Calderwood was puce with his team's performance. I also think Langfield was looking really edgy in the Aberdeen goal. Not much more to add to all the above other than to thank the team for an outstanding performance and I've rarely seen an ICT team look so together and elated and in tow with the support at the end of a league game.
  3. Well said, what many of the regulars on this forum have to realise is that they are a very small group of people whose views to not represent the views of the ICT Support in general. Very far from it in my opinion. Brewster is doing a good job, he has made some good signings with room for more before the season begins - particularly with the money raised through the sale of Niculae. He deserves our full support for the first full season of his second spell in charge. He deserves the recognition that it is not an easy job sourcing and attracting quality players to Inverness, given our geography and financial limitations. This should be a supporters forum and would maybe attract a wider membership if it was - it has become a forum on which a small bunch of individuals who believe they have the managerial ability of Alex ferguson constantly deride the club. Let's give Brewster and the club the support they deserve. Perhaps it is an element of the "support" who should be put under scrutiny. Since 2003 87.6% of the posts on this website have followed a fairly predictable format: Phase 1: One of the usual suspects starts a pointless thread along the lines of "Who should we sack first? Brewster or Niculae?" (If they can work out how to do a poll we get that as an added treat.) Phase 2: The linguistically-challenged see an opportunity to add to their post count with a one word reply and...well...don't disappoint. Note: statistically 75% are guaranteed to spell that one word wrong. Phase 3: One of the 'holier than thou' pitch in with a variation on "Well, these guys have families...this is all a bit unseemly." Phase 4: follows on fairly swiftly with a mix of mods and 'the serious' defending folks' right to free speech (Caley D normally uses this moment to warn that there is a drawn line at which warnings will be handed out.) Phase 5: Some serious-minded punter suggests 'we get back to the topic' (and the rest of us sigh with relief!) Phase 6: Party Time! This is the moment the nutcases decide to get busy because we all know the thread is doomed to get locked pretty soon. Phase 7: is the earnest Mod v Habitual Offender 'conversation'...(there must be a way of doing these exchanges without scaring the horses!) Phase 8: sensible people avoid the thread, others go to the pub...meantime a half-dozen try to type 'useless' and 'season ticket' without the benefit of opposable thumbs. Which phase do you pack in your reading?
  4. Agreed GJ but the fact is the vast majority of youngsters in UK get nosebleeds if they move 10 miles from their mammy's steak n chips. Contract with Real Madrid? Nah I'd rather hang out with my mates at some dodgy provincial 'nightclub' week after week. Stevie Crawford on the other hand would probably miss his local bowls club.
  5. ...you've obviously led a very sheltered life if you think that's worthy of a tut or two. Excellent effort Dougie!!! :clapping03:
  6. Can't decide if it's a committee's second choice, i.e. the strip of several choices that most didn't like least, or the choice of a madman... We have Barcelona style stripes to play around with and they go for this crap. :029:
  7. consigned to the anals of history. ...truly the darkest of dark holes. :014:
  8. Nah, they quickly added up all the bank charges I was paying and realised they were home and hosed... barstewards!
  9. It's about time RiG became WiG anyway...this could be your own personal testimonial. :021:
  10. Fair point. Although, to be honest ..... as much as I can praise Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai or other South Asian restaurants over here and understand that they are very authentic because they primarily cater to the large number of 1st or 2nd generation immigrants from their own community, I cant for the life of me explain why finding a good Indian restaurant is so much more difficult ... There are a lot of East Indians in Toronto and I have yet to find a decent restaurant .... or maybe it is me ... maybe I like authentic Chinese food but am more in tune with UK style Indian food ..... Ain't that the truth! In China there isn't really one food that is 'Chinese' - every province has its own style. The Yangtse River is the point at which the southern rice eaters change to the northern noodle eaters. Even now transportation of foodstuffs is limited, so people are really stuck to what the local climate can produce.
  11. Bl""dy management at it again... (that's dot dot dot)!
  12. First chance for a long time to hear a game (curious the online radio worked today) ...great effort and according to reports I've just heard we are in the SPL next year. Outstanding, job done, well done... great team, great management, great fans.
  13. Incidentally, does any other country have daft days like us or are we unique in this crap? America has "War Day". And I believe that last week was "For Pete's Sake Week", and this week is "Pie Week". China has 'Sweeping the Graves Day' - something we should adopt on this site since English has apparently passed away...
  14. It is a worry, but at least I can still write properly constructed sentences. :blah01: This is neither the time or the place however a comma and an adjacent conjunction is a misconstruction. Sorry. :blah01: :blah01:
  15. I agree Smee...spot on! The season dawn was false...but now we've acquired 33 points - which is about as good an average we've had pre-split in the SPL - the guns ain't looking too bad at all.
  16. Virus check it regularly...especially if you are using it with 'unknown' computers ! They are the digital equivalent of herpes! :crazy07:
  17. ...or Charlie Christie. We're on the edge of the top 6, ahead of so-called better sides, better points per game than any previous SPL season* and about due to give an unsuspecting opponent a right good gubbing...thank god it's Brewster! *+/- 10 points
  18. lets just say that reporters or publications that have previously asked "uncomfortable" questions, or printed less than flattering articles have found themselves somewhat frozen out (for at least a little while) on game days or at press conferences. Inverness may be a city in some respects, but in others it is still a very small town !!! To be fair, a certain knighted gaffer from one of the world's top 2 earning teams from a large English city has been known to freeze out the world's so-called most 'respected' broadcasting corporation from time to time...so it's perhaps hardly a small town method of kneeing the media in the proverbials.
  19. Perhaps a season in the lower division would do them some good! OK, my coat it is...
  20. I thought you'd title this one "How Do You Solve The Problem of Marius?" :023: Without going over all the old arguments about his position, pace, class, control...you are right to mention those around him. There seems a good spirit about and you can see the players talking about where they want the ball played, but, something's starting to niggle in my head that the learning phase should be over by now.
  21. Compelling as ever Scotty. Presumably the 'powers' at Longman Towers regard the overseas contingent to be an irrelevance. (Better watch we don't become a nuisance!)
  22. http://www.tatuagemdaboa.com.br/ Give it a few secs to load Put your user name in the first line, put 'Ross County' in the second line...leave the rest blank. Press Visualizar. :crazy07:
  23. By the way, I'm no regular by any means but what a great atmosphere in the away stand yesterday. We were shoe-horned into those bloody awful Tynie seats but it didn't stop a remarkable number of away fans bossing the home support. First half it was like we were the home team...on and off the pitch! :clapping03:
