Lennon may chose to blood a few of his new signings, as they will not know the excuse about us being so far away from Glasgee
  2. Best would be Hastings for his overall meaning to the club, then Jaunjo and Niculae. Worst, although all was not that bad, but it had to be the players and crowds reactions to Lionel D-Z, it was like a melting mars bar floating in a swimming pool, total panic!
  3. The fortunes of Adam Rooney may possibly make Johnny think twice about going to grab the money quick. He may well think another year as the stand out attacker might produce him an even bigger contract a year later with a higher ranking club or league
  4. rearrange for March 21st with a 7.30 ko please. They would be knackered after chasing Celtic on the wide open space of Hampden
  5. Barry Robson scored a cracker against Makems in the cup today
  6. Billy Mckay and Jonny Tuffey are both Ulstermen though

    Is their any Mohecan do,
  8. Does anyone know how many penalty shoot outs ICT have been involved in, and what our success rate is!
  9. If Darren Mackie were to come back we might have a chance of getting a penalty, dirty cheating diver, however he aint good enough for our team. Only other not mentioned frequently I would hae back would be Duncan, as we seemed to lose less goals with him playing mostly
  10. A cup win against Celtic again would boost our profile much further that beating them in the league, as this particular league game will not be the decisive blow to their title challenge, but it would be decisive to their cup asperations and their treble challenge. A win in the cup keeps our dream alive of Hampden, and regaining the bragging rights over County in the cup final stakes, which will only be bettered really when we win the cup. A league defeat against Celtic in the goldfishbowl, aint going to relegate us, its the other games against our rivals that might. Our only chance of silverware nationally is in the cups, either will do, and i just hope we can achieve that with Tel and Mo
  11. We put this run together without him, so it can continue, he is just extra icing on the cake
  12. nervous performance to begin with, best thing that happened to us was Barrowboy scoring, woke us up and allowed Tel to scatter a few cups at half time. Cox seemingly took a knock and dealt Terry's hand with the half time sub. Tel told Foran to wind Johnny up, throttling did the trick but think the ref could have red carded Johnny for his reaction as in slapping Foran he caught the ref too. I actually thought we controlled most of the game after the first twenty, without doing anything worth while. Shinnie changed the pattern when he came on and our attacking ploy turned the game thankfully. Roll on the Tic, but Lennon wont be worrying on this performance
  13. Tade is proving his worth, 8 goals from open play, could have been more but a one in three average in the SPL aint that bad. OK he is best when he hasnt got time to think, but at least he is getting the chances, and remember Roooney missed a few sitters aswell. If Gregory improves his one on one ratio, he would be getting chased by bigger clubs, so what do we want? Hope he is here to pass the 100 goal mark for us in 6 or 7 seasons
  14. And I said that October and November wouldnt be great, but once we had our injured players back and match fit December and January we would pick up a lot. Dont think we will get much in February however, but followed by a strong March and April. Still think we will finish above hibs and Dons......anyone else
  15. i wouldn't want an unwashed arse sat on my seat. Nooooooooooooo
  16. would be interesting to see where our referees come from. Do they also have that Celtic mentality " its all the way up there, and seems forever to get their "
  17. never liked his me me me attitude, although he could do wonders but never frequently enough. Was glad he went, and has stewed in the first division for a while. Was it not once he jumped ship we properly hit form
  18. just shows its easier to score for the old firm in the spl
  19. I think that Dorran and Hayes supplying the ammo, Foran building on his impressive start to the new position, Shinnie, MacKay and Tade can shoot use up the league. I dont think we need ant more in attack, but we need to find a solution to our leaky defence. Our injuries ( apart from Hogg ) have eased, and now its down to our own signed players to get back into their stride. Golo looks like he has finally settled into the spl, so I would just look to an experienced Defender to help the young ones around them.
  20. Tuffey is a brilliant shop stopper, but thinks he is Pele with the ball at his feet. He should stick to his strengths as its not his first questionable kick out. Esson for me is better overall because he is more reliable with the ball at his feet, but if Johnny understands in his own head that he aint Pele we would have two keepers of equal measure I think
  21. Wonder how Platini would feel if it was Keane who handled the ball into the net, rather than Henry, and his country then missed out on the world cup finals. And if he says it wouldnt change his opinion then that would not be as his feeling were sweetened by the decision, I bet if it was France who lost out he wouldnt be praising the ref and feeling good about it. :******:
  22. Personally I am all for technology. Should be used at all international matches, and top league football throughout the world, but only where the national association can afford to implement this. ie at Caley and not County if it was this season. It is said that technology will take away the debate of wrong calls, but sorry, I would rather the correct calls were made - ie France v Ireland, Englands goal v Germany, O'Hanlons tackle v Foran, Rangers recent "goal" v Celtic etc etc etc. These situations are all in the professional game, with full time players, managers and supporters effected by the outcome. Why should these professionals not be allowed to use a professional system to make the big calls, as referees and assistant referees cannot see all that goes on in a fraction of a second and get it right every time. The game is so much faster now and more skillfull, as are the cheats, compared to when the rules were written. I think the rewards for the game itself are greater than any down, and the disruption of the game can take less time than the free kicks themselves
  23. Oh and Ross county as the starter, but if they get promoted that will happen anyway, so maybe no need there
  24. do you mean we pick teams we dont like and want to go down. ok Rangers, Celtic, Man utd and Chelsea are my wish list.
  25. Nice to see that SPL are probably going to take action over the silly belly headbutt that happened in the Hibs-Hearts derby at the weekend. Nice to see them get their priorities right. An act of stupidity more important to them compared to a potential career ender. Bet it would be different if that tackle was against Scott Brown or Steven Davis. O Hanlon would be hounded by press and fans until action was taken
