Never mind sentiment, Barry deserves to remain until the end of the season on merit alone.

Things are looking a bit better than they were a month or so ago but home form and home victories are the key to winning the fans back over. Victory on Saturday will go a long way towards winning that battle.

To be fair to Brewster, the reason that Barrowman is not getting a regular start is that his form doesn't merit it.

The truth of the matter is that the Aberdeenshire based juniors who are considering membership are much better resourced than any potential candidates from the north. There's nothing new in that just look how successful Inverurie and Cove have been since they entered the league compared to Fort William and Wick who are the most recent entrants from the Highlands proper.

Boruc's not the player he was and the defence is certainly suspect. If we can get off to a good start and keep it tight we might just have a chance on Saturday.
