  1. It looks like we've got a disagreement over tactics here. I'd prefer to take my seat make my feelings known from there. There are plenty of good suggestions on this forum for ways to get our point across without turning away (chants, demos, e-mails etc.). If we try these things and are ignored then i'll be the first to come on here and tell you that you're right. I'd had a couple meself for the original post - giz a hug but will that empty seat be noticed among the thousand of others ?
  2. There may be greater systemic problems at the club but there's no doubt in my mind that Brewster is responsible for the poor form and abysmal results.Money may be tight but, apart from the lack of an experienced forward, we have a very decent squad who are capable of performing much better. The fact that they do not reach the level they are capable of is not the fault of anyone other than the manager. The fact of the matter is that Craig Brewster's record as a manager both at Inverness and and Tannadice must be just about the worst in the history of the SPL. The only blame attaching to the board of directors is the decision to reappoint him in the first case coupled with the lack of decisive action to remove him before it becomes too late !
  3. I don't think there's any "might just" about it !
  4. Surprised to see Chris Hoy win a UK wide popular vote but delighted for him as he was the most deserving contender on merit.
  5. Don Cowie would be a big miss. Personally, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him end up at Pittodrie.
  6. Robbo In your opinion does a club of our size really need a first team squad of 21 or so. Would we not manage with around 16 in the first team squad, better paid and thus better quality supplemented by the youth players ?
  7. For a long time Thistle's away strip was sky blue a bit like Manchester City's main strip.
  8. It may indeed be old age but there's no excuse for using text shorthand when you have a full keyboard in front of you !
  9. The operative word being was !
  10. True even the great steve Paterson. Who could forget the likes of Vetle Andersen, Wayne Addicoat and Marco de Barros ?
  11. I still think barrowman needs time, played in the right formation and as robbo said on his thread the confidence of a goal or 2. Most of all, like our other young forwards, he needs an experienced foil to play alongside.
  12. I too have my reservations about Barrowman but give the boy a chance. He's not had half a season yet. Like all our young inexperienced strikers at the moment he badly needs a wise older head to play alongside.
  13. Beats managing Buckie Thistle !
  14. Don't believe everything you read in the paper !
  15. Yep as we havent played in it yet Just what I was thinking !
  16. Why not be nice for a change ? have a happy birthday Craig.
  17. Hello John, firstly thanks for the great joy of that promotion year and, to my mind, being instrumental in influencing the club to accept their place in the SPL. I was impressed with the progress ICT made under your management. Steve Paterson, despite his well documented personal problems, was a hard act to follow yet, in my opinion you managed to build on his achievements very well. Here's a hypothetical question you may not wish to answer but if Hearts were to meet ICT in the cup final who would you want to win ?
  18. was involved
  19. Hear hear many of us have different opinions, the site would be pretty tedious if we didn't, but there's never any need to resort to personal abuse.
  20. but only
  21. If there is anything illegal going on then it's not down to us to challenge it but SPL, SFA & Procurator Fiscal. For the avoidance of doubt, nobody is suggesting any illegality going on and any posts to that effect will immediately be deleted and apprpriate action taken.
  22. but unfortunately
  23. steady
  24. I'm sure all connected with and employed by ICT want the club to be successful and prosper not least our manager and Director of Football but it's becoming increasingly obvious that, as good a player as he was, Craig Brewster is a poor manager and that it is not in the club's interest to retain his services. I suspect that there are thoser in authority who recognise this to be the case now and the sooner appropriate action is taken the better.
  25. Indeed !
