Malkie was Brewster's appointment so if there is a problem then the buck should stop with Brewster.

It's a long time since I've witnessed any defending as bad as that and that includes my Son's under 11 games !

Sandy Shand was one of the more erratic 'keepers to play for the Jags. He was capable of being very good but equally likely to chuck the ball into his own net. The best goalie I recall seeing in the Highland League, the great Jim Calder apart, was Dave Lawtie who was custodian for Elgin City in the late 60's and early 70's.

Similar stats to those for Dundee United when Brewster was at their helm. I wonder what the common factor is ?

I'm sure that Caley D is correct aqnd that Brewster's contract expires at the end of the season. It was widely reported that he'd signed a two year deal when he first came back and surely no one would have been misguided enough to extend it.

I agree it may now be time to give Esson a run.

Chisholm has done a great job at Q.O.S with relatively little resources. A heartbeat away from landing the Scottish Cup last season and strongly challenging for promotion this all at the same time as playing relatively attractive attacking football. I note that their chairman said, when refusing Dundee permission to speak to him, that their attitude might have been different had it been an SPL club.

That's certainly what Brewster appeared to suggest in his pre match interview last night. There was no suggestion that he was unlikely to be fit for Saturday

Difficult one that, Esson may be marginally the better 'keeper but Fraser is the man in possession and has done little wrong.
