  1. I'm still trying to decide if this was an ok result or not. I know our Under 19s are new and it may take time for them to impress but that lineup still had a few known players in it. I'd have thought Golspie would have even taken a doing from Clach.

I completely agree with that, Although i did think Vigurs was a player we should have hung onto. We've even had players from a few years ago that at the time looked really good. Tony Low used to do well coming off the bench and i still don't understand why he was released while Darren Thomson was kept on. Lewis McKinnon was another who i seem to recall banging them in during a pre season, only for him to swap to a defensive position and play for someone like Nairn or Forres. Its rare that a youth player can break through and establish himself in a first team line up but heres hoping one of our boys this year has what it takes.
  3. Been a while since i lived in Inverness but doesn't the old JJB Sports (I think its changed anyway) on academy street do shirt numbering. I know it used to a few years back anyway. I tried JJB before and they said they only printed on shirts that could be bought in the shop and am sure the place in academy street doesn't exist anymore. Yeah your probably right about buying it in store actually, didn't think of that. I think it may be JD Sports now? or something similar. I know you could also get your shirts done in the market, I'm not sure if that is the same place as you mentioned above though. It would be a good idea for the club to be able to supply this in the future. Having it advertised while in the shop may lure some customers to have a number or name put on the top and therefore giving ICT some much needed extra cash.
  4. Ok i think we need a strong 11 out for this one. We can't afford any slip ups and i want a good cup run this year. Its been far too long since we were at Hampden and i seen Queens put us out of the cup once before after Bobby Mann missed a penalty, cannot happen again! ----------------------------------------Esson------------------------------------------ Tokely ----------------Munro--------------------Innes-----------------Golabek ---------------------------Cox---------------------Duncan--------------------------- --------Odhiambo---------------Sanchez----------------Blumstein----------- ---------------------------------- ---Rooney------------------------------------------ Subs Tuffey, McCann, McBain, Ross, Sutherland

  6. I presume we now have set squad numbers so it is easier to recognise players. Commentators who are unfamiliar with what Shane Sutherland looks like will be able to tell just by his set squad number and these can then be memorised during games. Also for kids these days wanting their favourite players name and number on their replica shirt means it will match throughout the season regardless of formation or position of that player.
  7. Thats quite tasty prices. Why can't it be like that all year round? :_cry:
  8. I'm going to predict Tokely is gonna come out and be one of the top players of the year again, he has the determination, experience and drive to establish himself in the starting line up this season. Most players/signings who have done well in pre season in the past has had a bad start to the season. Dean McDonald looked like a signing when he first arrived, as did Eagle i think. I'm not going to judge any of the players who HAVE cut it in the SPL until i see them play a few games this season, playing bad pre season doesn't mean anything and it's only about getting them fit for the real fight.
  9. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Scottish_football_transfers_2010%E2%80%9311 Thats probably the best website for upto date transfers in scottish football. I use it for all my personal updates on Football Manager. It gives an entire list from the 4th of May of everyone who has moved, stating where they came from, who they went to and how much they cost. It also states Steve Tosh has signed for Cove Rangers from Queen of the South yesterday.
  10. St Mirren are doomed. Danny Lennon has signed 4 Cowdenbeath players, 1 Queen of the South player and an Ayr keeper. I had my doubts when he was appointed but these signings have got to seal his fate. As well as losing Mehmet and Dorman they have no real chance of staying up unless someone else massively underachieves this season. Even the buddies think they'll go down this year.
  11. Unless i've got it wrong Duncan is playing and McBain isn't
  12. I agree Morais done well for us but i think he done well in what was a very poor squad.
  13. Can't work this one out either. I'm guessing Tokely is at left back tonight then. Surely Sutherland won't be up on his own so Gil may be playing upfront too. But left midfield is a mystery. Possibly.....? -------------Esson---------------- McCann Innes Munro Tokely ------Cox------Duncan-------- Ross-----Sanchez---Blumstein ----------Sutherland---------------
  14. I presume thats a mistake and it is Kevin. Ryan McCann is a midfielder i think and was at Airdrie last season, not sure if he is still there though.
  15. Do you know any good sites to download extras such as kits, club badges, face packs etc. I use Fm-Base just now which i find pretty good but would like to know of any others.
  16. what about Morais? he was brilliant for us! I would hardly say he was brilliant, He certainly isn't any better than Hayes or Foran. I agree Black and Pavels would be a good welcome back to the team. I liked Imrie too but it's probably for the best now that he is away IF he was a distraction in the changing room.
  17. So Someone voted for ICT to finish bottom but was too scared to show their full 12 predictions, therefore not showing us who you actually are.
  18. Last season on Pie and Bovril there was a thread for Home and Away strips that have been computer generated for use with Football Manager or for any websites that need them. I was just wondering if anyone has came across the start of this seasons thread if there even is one? Just like to get my FM game updated as soon as possible and also a nice easy way to see everyones kits for the new season.
  19. Indeed. Too many folk on here thinking staying up will be a stroll. It'll be anything but. I'm not saying it won't be hard but nearly every team that gets promoted does well in their first season. Just look at St Johnstone last season and Hamilton the season before that. We even done extremely well in our first season in the SPL. With our current squad plus a couple extras for cover i am confident we will not be going back down next season. Top 6 may well be a bit too far but i think 7th or 8th is reachable.
  20. Celtic Rangers Dundee United Hibs Hearts Motherwell Inverness Aberdeen Hamilton St Johnstone Kilmarnock St Mirren
  21. I'd like to see the Clach and Forres games on highlights just as much as the European games. Its ICT we are watching, i'm not interested who we are playing. I do however understand that filming friendlies is a big ask`, and i'm greatful for anything we can get. Finding out detailed information about the match report from these games is hard enough due to the lack of attenders. I'm hoping by the time our games against the european teams come along and against Queens Park we have our first 11 sorted out to see how they get on. We need to be ready for Celtic on the 14th.
  22. He has signed up with us. Not sure if it is a 1 year deal or two though.
  23. Looks like we strolled it with only a struggle in the Semi's that went onto penalties. Excellent news, well done!
  24. At one point i loved him, and then after a few bad games i hated him. He was so inconsistent and was never going to be a player in the SPL. He may well do alright for you's though.
