  1. The fans will have gotten the news to the players no doubt.
  2. This is his 8th appearance of the season, all from the bench. The last time Roy started was against Falkirk on the last day of the season.
  3. Excellent news that Roy's playing. Hope he can do well.
  4. I think you are allowed to play in the rules if you are 21. Its three players under 21 you need in a squad for each match isn't it? How many of our players meet this requirement just now?Cox,Hayes,Odhiambo,Shinnie,Ross? I'm guessing Rooney is at least 22 now is well so not him. We really need to have a few good under 21's in the team to do well in the SPL. I think the reason Rory managed to gain a lot SPL games for us was more because of the rule rather than for his skill. Meaning the youth's really do have a part to play in the season.
  5. Good point, If he's still the same player as he was last season then it'll be like a new signing. How old is he though? If he's older than 21 now he may not get his chance as the youth on the subs bench now with the SPL under 21 rule and could find himself down the pecking order. IF we get promoted that is.
  6. No chance am i missing the SPL, only some aspects of it. After experiencing every league in Scotland the first division is far better than the rest. I really hope the SPL expands over the next 2 years to make it more interesting. Pro's of the SPL TV, Media and Radio coverage in the SPL was excellent There are more SPL clubs near to me than in the first division (even more so next year if Morton/Ayr or Airdrie go down. The slim chance of gaining top 6 can be exciting. The relegation battles are always exciting but i wouldn't want that to happen.... We can attract higher quality players to Inverness. Con's of the SPL Ticket prices will be dramatically increased as well as food and drink at games. Our players are always in the spotlight and are very likely to be stolen. The atmosphere at SPL games never have the same feeling as that of the smaller grounds. Cup games will no longer be our (big day out) I loved going to see Motherwell and Killie this season. Last season it just felt like a regular match. Adam Rooney and Co won't be tearing up defences like they are just now.
  7. Since no one else has said it....well done Rory. After all he was an ICT player. He showed promise in the reserves everytime i seen him but didn't quite make it in the first team and to be honest looked quite hopeless at times but i'm glad he has found his form and probably his level. I really hope Brechin manage to get promoted this year to give him his chance in the first division.
  8. Out of good and rubbish? :) Surely there can be an inbetween too. I'd have to lean more towards good than rubbish if thats all we're getting.
  9. At the moment i would say he was average, If he was to leave us he wouldn't be highly missed as i think we could bring in someone who has the same qualitys reasonably easy. However i have full confidence in Bully and have a good feeling that he'll do well for ICT. and would love it for him to stay on after the summer. Perhaps might not ever be one of the key players but he will do well as a squad player overall.
  10. What about using red food colouring? Costs about 50p from any supermarket.
  11. Agreed, but I'm very concerned that County might use their cup money to sign him. And weren't there once rumours that Brewster likes Cox? :tonguecheek: I could be mistaken but after Queens reached the final they didn't go on to spend loads on player wages and steal them from bigger clubs did they? I'm pretty confident County won't be stealing our players and it'll be the other way around. They have some good players that could do a job for us in the SPL. They ain't playing one of the OF in the final either so filling hampden isn't going to be as easy, meaning even less money than a normal cup final.
  12. If we win the league on saturday will we be presented the title then? Or will it be given on the last day of the season against Dundee regardless.
  13. and Dundee still have two games to play before the Ayr game. They'll slip up in one of them and the title is ours at Ayr when we beat them regardless of saturdays result. Kilt and the bloody bandage sounds like a brilliant idea, who's in?
  14. Dundee lose on saturday, County draw or lose and we win - the league is ours mathematically Dundee draw on saturday and we win - the league is ours on goal difference and if Dundee then draw or lose midweek to Raith and the league is ours before Ayr
  15. I really hope Dundee don't lose and we win on saturday, I know it sounds terrible but i want to see us winning the league. Whether its at Ayr or on the last day of the season. Dundee to draw on Saturday and us to win. Leaving it upto goal difference against Ayr will do nicely.
  16. The megabus want ?15 return, The difference being you could go up and down the A9 3 times on saturday if you wanted for the price on the train.
  17. Still a bigger team than us if they can recieve an extra 6 minutes highlights though
  18. 37 to Dundee Utd and 21 to Ross County is alot better than i thought.
  19. IF County draw does that then mean they can't catch us without over turning our massive goal difference?
  20. I'd be up for going to this one. As original post stated
  21. Do we still get a bus to Ayr next saturday?
  22. Aberdeen deserve to go down after the dreadful system that kept them up a few years back. Think it will be Falkirk to go down though.
  23. I'm quite surprised though that he's doing so bad. Not because i think he's a good manager but because surely Aberdeen have enough quality players to be avoiding what is happening. His record at Motherwell wasn't bad though was it? Its strange how it doesn't always work out for managers.
  24. And next season it's gone. Bet ICT fans won't be talking about an away win in the First Division at Queen of the South in 60 years. They would still talk of a Scottish Cup win though. No, but they will be talking about the amazing unbeaten run, the league win, and becoming the first ever team to bounce straight back up! Pitty we aren't the first team to ever bounce straight back up though!! We are since the new league system came into play in 1998. I've said the league was more important and it is. I'd rather be in the SPL anyday over winning the cup but for living in the memories the Cup will always be remembered. Gretna went from the second right up to the first but i couldn't give a damn. League records about bouncing straight back up ain't as memorable as a national cup win.
