  1. I'm not surprised, i thought he wouldn't be too happy being the only first team member playing against Halkirk. Also being dropped to last choice defender must have annoyed him a little considering he hasn't made as many errors as some players in the squad. He was only here until January anyway, I'm not keen on 6 month deals that end in January, if he became a regular everything would become unsettled again by the time he leaves. Having a player brought in from Jan til the summer is far more effective IMO, It will also enchance the chance of signing the player up permanently after his loan spell.
  2. I bet Aldred is loving this. Coming from Watford to play with a bunch of kids against WHO?
  3. We haven't even won with our best 11 this season, this isn't the time to be going easy. We'll be lucky if we can even beat Ayr at the moment.
  4. What is the point in changing the entire team to struggle at the bottom of the league waiting on them to gel. Last season we had a team capable of achieving top 6. We may get going but by then it'll be too late and everyone will be out of contract again come the summer.
  5. We are the only team to score against the pars this season. 3 goals as well! So we can score we just havent been good enough. They are in 3rd and we are in 12th. A bit of luck and we could get off the bottom. It's not looking good so far though.
  6. That's clutching at straws. Anyone else feel we are the worst team in the spl yet? Not panicking yet because i had a feeling we'd lose today but I at least thought we'd have won a game by now. St Johnstone is going to be a massive game for us now.

Yeovil are League One and Lincoln play in the Blue Square Non-League.
  8. I've lived in Paisley for around 4 years now and i rarely see any St Mirren fans, I certainly don't know any. Most people around here support the Old Firm and its the same where ever you are in Scotland.
  9. Well thanks for making sure i double check, I checked the BBC website before and it was stated as being on a Wednesday night, didn't have a clue about Ayr playing their games at Cappielow though, even better for me.
  10. At the moment we have to be favourites for the drop but i would say it will be between 4 or 5 teams this season and will be even closer than last year for all the bottom 6 positions. Hibernian, Dunfermline, St Mirren, St Johnstone, Inverness will all struggle this season i think. Kilmarnock and Aberdeen will battle for the top 6 and 7th places.
  11. I agree, living in Paisley means whenever I want to go to a local match for the old firm I need to buy my tickets through the phone in inverness. They then add an extra ?2.50 onto what is already a huge price. That is very frustrating. ?20 for a child in our away end? That's even more ridiculous! I got into east end park for ?10 on Saturday. A very reasonable price for a concession.
  12. I think you might be correct
  13. yeah. Would be good to see who the subs were.... RED dots for what??? Are you Mahonio in disguise?
  14. The quarter finals has brought too much heartache over the last few years. Rosscoe get sent off in that game and we ended up losing 5-1? Its been far too long since our last trip to Hampden we really need to get there this season, Its been so long we are now considered the favourites when playing the two teams that put us out in the past, Dundee and Dunfermline.
  15. Red head was Martin Laing?
  16. Would be excellent if he does well at Birmingham. Only preseason but he has already scored 2 goals. I think he's the only player to score in their entire pre season campaign.
  17. Wouldnt mind Clyde or Morton away.

With tough competition for places, especially in midfield, one bad game could be enough to get you dropped. Maybe Doran will get his chance next weekend after showing a better performance when coming on. I wouldn't like to see Ross go out on loan as i think he is a good player but i don't think he'll be getting 35 starts this season, The midfield looks alot more competitive this season and he may struggle to hold down a regular place until Terry picks his best 11.
  19. Barrowloads scores for Dunfermline.
  20. County losing to queens park this time! Two weeks in a row I've had them on my accumulator
  21. I agree with this, I no longer have any fears for the defence and all those worries of us in a relegation dog fight this season are now over. We have actually managed to put together a pretty decent squad this summer. Our only weakness now i would say would be upfront but thats purely down to me not seeing Tade or McKay enough. Roll on saturday!
  22. Adriano pellegrino? Australia I think
  23. We haven't replaced him with anyone as good but we've at least brought in decent cover over the years. All the talk will go away when these two holes are filled I'm sure.
  24. Just a couple players we can't replace it seems.
