Dewar
Played up front for Caley early 80's, not very good. Cannae mind his first name.

Young Debutant Duff
I liked the look of Duff, he seemed quite composed and has the a bit of presence about him. Someone please tell him that I remember a young Grant Munro making an even bigger howler to cost us a goal at Clyde.

New advertising hoardings
I thought there was the smell of manure, but just thought it was the old bloke next to me.

Striker on Trial
Brew was contacted by an agent, one who he knows of, at least. Kampala to Inverness is quite a transition, so I hope that the local Ugandan community will make him feel welcome. I also hope that the club are aware that the process to secure a player from a corrupt African country can be even more complex than making a sale to Romania. Hopefully the agent would be responsible for making any non-standard payments that may be required.

Striker on Trial
With Wagaluka being a winger and Bechan also having played in that position, should we conclude that Zander Sutherland is not considered ready to step up to the 1st team?

Hamilton Tactics
I'm at a family event in Aviemore on Saturday and might be able to sneak away for a few hours. How long does it take by car from downtown Aviemore to TCS?

Striker on Trial
Hmm, only 5'7"

Dougie's joined the believers
?Andy Barrowman has come in and was great in pre-season, so if we can get another attacker to play alongside him, there is no reason why we can?t get into the top half." Presumably he means signing an attacker better than the ones we've already got?

Hamilton Tactics
Title decider, surely. Great game tonight and Hamilton looked really good, top 6 material based on that performance. We'll soon see if it was a one-off. So relegation favourites ICT, Hamilton and Killie all won?!

Cis Draw
One of my favourite away grounds, and I should be able to go. The Dundee to Arbroath road has been improved a lot in the years since we were last there.

Marius Scores on Debut...
Not as good as Roy's!

Aberdeen vs ICT
Great result! I'm not surprised that we won but I'm amazed that we kept a clean sheet. I think in all our previous SPL seasons we lost the first match?

Captaincy
Well here's the official SPL photo of the 12 team captains..... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/s...rem/7549136.stm Probably a case of who could be bothered travelling down for it.

First Scorer Against The Dons
Barrowman, because it would be reassuring for everyone if he proves that he can score at SPL level. We'll save that one for the injury time 3-2 winner.

Olympic Football
Where are these Olympics being held? I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.

Merged: Rangers Out Of Europe
Out of Europe before Queen of the South!
-
F***ing Referees
I was going to suggest that rather than extra cash, the refs could get free tickets to Rangers European ties.
-
F***ing Referees
Apparently they are also angry that they don't get enough support from the SFA and SPL when there performances are criticised, such as McCurry's shambles at Rangers v Dundee Utd. I appreciate they have a difficult job, but seeing how much they get paid leaves with no sympathy for them when they are criticised for bad performances.

merged: Adam Rooney
In one of the papers yesterday Brew was saying we still need "one or two" new signings. He's no managerial genius, but I'm sure even he realises that sorting the defence out is priority, even if he won't say so publicly.

Sunday Mail Predictions
Of the 6 pundits at the Sunday Times, 2 have us bottom, 2 11th and 2 10th. They also have Brew as the manager 2nd most likely to get the chop (Hearts guy first, obviously)

Whichever bid(s) ICT chose to accept plays a bigger part! I'm sure you will agree it was very fair and reasonable of the board to allow Marius to go to the club of his choice, to ICT's financial disadvantage. You might also like to remind him that ICT is not a plc, and does not pay dividends to shareholders. What money they have goes into maintaining the best possible team on the pitch for the benefit of the fans. You know, the people he thinks so highly of? They are the ones who will ultimately suffer if Marius ends up getting the money that he had agreed to waive.
-
Niculae
Stevico, from what I can gather, you appear to be the person who represents Niculae on legal, contractual and financial matters, including his most recent transfer and the accompanying saga. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Doesn't that effectively make you, to all intents and purposes, his agent? I note that earlier you stated that you were a friend but not his agent, but you would perhaps have to say that because agents have to be licensed and insured, don't they? Perhaps you can clarify who Niculae's agent is, and what role he actually plays.

Burnley FC V ICT.... 2/8/08
2-0 now

I appreciate the responses you have provided. However it is very clear from them that Marius DID agree to waive a contractual entitlement. Perhaps he agreed to waive his cut of the fee, then the amount of the fee changed to 500,000 hence you specifically pointing out that he did not agree to waive his cut of that fee? I trust that if the matter progresses further, both you and Marius will be entirely open and honest about what was agreed. Or should that say "a greed"?

Niculae
What did he agree to waive then? The 2nd signing on fee? Can you categorically state that he did not verbally agree to waive any contractual entitlement whatsoever?
